B&B Verona Centro

Neither the manager (Serena) or the building is as represented. She is rude and self centered and doesn't speak truthfully. The place is good for individuals who back pay thru Italy, and are 15 to 18 yrs old and need a place to crash for 1 nite. It is not centrally located to Verona Central. It is billed as a hotel and it is far from that. The outside is a mess and dangerous, unless you like the smell of urine. You need to cross at least 5 lanes of traffic to get to the foot bridge to get to the edge of Verona proper. The nearest Car bridge is under repair. Stay away, You are better off being homeless than dealing with Serena or staying here.

Upon arrival on October 9 at BB Verona Centro, we met Serena, the owner or property manager. We were traveling with my brother and his wife who were also booked to stay at BB Verona Centro. When Serena showed us our rooms, we expressed our observations about the rooms and told Serena that they were not at all like what was pictured on *********** website. At that point, Serena became very angry and rude and told us to leave. We tried to reason with her as to how we can resolve this and get our money back and she said we had to take it up with ***********. She then told us we were wasting her time and to leave which we did. At this point, we did not have a place to stay, we tried multiple times to contact *********** for help but they are very difficult to reach or get a person to speak with. Serena told the *********** people we never showed up to check in. We had to provide a picture to *********** showing myself at the property talking with Serena. We also had to provide phone records so they could see they we did try to contact them immediately for help but could not get through. We communicated with ***********, myself and my brother, all week while trying to enjoy our vacation and now all week upon return from vacation. We continue to get told that we do not deserve a refund for the accommodations which we were turned away from by Serena and told not to return. I have spend over $182 in international phone calls trying to get help from ***********. My recommendation to everyone booking travel is to NOT use *********** or BB Verona Centro. I am posting this on Trip Advisor because I can place a review on ***********. It seems to me that they only post favorable reviews which is very deceiving.

Last week we had a reservations at B&B Verona Centro. Upon arriving to check in we met Serena the property manager. When she took us to the unit we were disappointed in the accommodations and told her that this was nothing like the website. She got upset and told us to leave and she would not rent to us. We explained that we have no other accommodations and may have to come back. She told us not to comeback. She then Notified *********** that we did not show to Check in. We responded to booking that that was not true and provided a picture with a date and time stamp showing my sister and Serena standing in front of the building. *********** would not provide any assistance and told us we were not due a refund. In looking at reviews further on B&B we see a similar encounter another person had with Serena. *********** was no help and despite providing evidence of us being there they continued to say we did not show up to check in and therefore they would not refund our money. I have a hard time believing all the glowing reviews after seeing the accommodating and dealing with Serena. I attempted to leave a review on Bookings but they removed my reservation which prevents such a review. Be careful dealing with B&B Verona as well as ***********. This experience explains the 1.1 rating Booking has on the web.

This is a charming and practical place to stay if you want to visit Verona. Serena is a great host and her place is clean and modern but in a beautiful old building. You are less than 5 minutes walk from the old town but it is quiet at night. It is perfect !

We stayed at the B&B Verona Centro for two nights from 25.7. to 27.7.22 on our tour of northern Italy. We booked a deluxe double room through an online booking platform. The reception by Serena was very warm and friendly. Serena is a great host. She provided us with all the information about her house and Verona. The room was not ready yet, but we were able to bring our suitcases directly to the room. It is recommended to get a parking card for residents from Serena (18 euros per day). There is parking directly in front of the house, but only for residents. The room exceeded our expectations. The size is absolutely fine, the style is modern (you wouldn't expect that from the outside), the bathroom is top. The room is clean. It is cleaned daily. The room has a balcony with a view of the beautiful old town of Verona. Unfortunately we could not use it as it was too hot. Breakfast is provided with a lot of heart by Serena herself. It is simple but delicious. It has everything (except for the scrambled egg lovers who might not get any). Serena is a great person to talk to. She is not pushy. We felt very comfortable. We recommend the B&B Verona Centro !

Struttura deliziosa, a due passi dal Ponte Pietra che conduce al Centro in pochi minuti. La location quindi è silenziosa pur essendo centralissima (è contigua sl Testro Romano ed alla funicolare di Castel San Pietro). La titolare Serena è prodiga di preziosi consigli e disponibile per ogni esigenza, inoltre abita nell’appartamento contiguo. Tutto è gestito con cura e discrezione, CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

Cordialità , disponibilità , puntualità, gentilissimi, pulizia,oltre alla meravigliosa posizione della location vicinissima a tutto il centro storico e al lungo Adige ,torneremo sicuramente .Grazie per averci fatto vivere 2 magnifiche giornate tra shopping e degustazioni nella romantica Verona.

El B&B está situado prácticamente pegado al Puente de Piedra y al funicular de Castel San Pietro. En 5 minutos a pie estás en el centro de Verona. Serena es una anfitriona fantástica y muy agradable y te ayuda en todo lo que necesites (desde el aparcamiento hasta los consejos sobre qué ver o dónde comer). Las habitaciones (teníamos 2) eran bonitas, espaciosas y estaban muy limpias. El desayuno, preparado por la propia Serena, es variado y rico. Nos sentimos muy cómodos y bien acogidos y sólo puedo recomendarlo.

Comodissimo B&B proprio in centro Verona vicino al ponte di pietra! Le camere sono bellissime: moderne e arredate con molta cura nei minimi dettagli. La proprietaria è molto disponibile e accogliente, inoltre da molte informazioni e consigli utilissimi per chi vuole visitare la città! Anche la colazione è ottima con delle soluzioni per tutti i gusti! Consigliato!!!
