Yggotel Mejse

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι πολύ ασφαλές και έχει αίσθηση ηλικίας. Το κλειδί 🔑 πρέπει να παραδοθεί στη ρεσεψιόν, αλλά νιώθω πολύ ασφαλής και χρειάζομαι ένα κλειδί για να μπω στην πόρτα. Η ρεσεψιόν θα ελέγξει προσεκτικά το check- σε πληροφοριες νιωθω πολυ ασφαλης και υπευθυνη και η θεια καθαρι ελπίζω να βοηθήσω όλους.

The hotel has excellent location right next to the train station with easy access to public transportation to the center of Vienna. Considering the price, quality of rooms is on a very high level - clean bathrooms, spacious enough to relax after a day of sightseeing. I would stay again on my next stay in Vienna. It was almost the cheapest option for us. It’s ok if you don’t have high expectations. Double bed is combined from 2 singles beds. There is No kettle in the room, you need to go to reception and ask them hot water and it’s for price 50+euros per room. Window faces nowhere, it’s a little bit dark in the room. Location is good, 150 meters from subway, 5 minutes from railway station and very close to Belvedere.

No electric kettle like one of the other reviews said. I stayed 3 nights. Not once was there housekeeping but on the last day they knocked my door at 2:20pm and handed me a bunch of bath towels. Wifi is spotty. The windows cannot tilt like most European windows so if you open it to get air in because there’s no aircon, you have to deal with the road noise. I slept on the 3rd floor with the help of my air pods pro 2nd gen. The lady with long hair at the receptionist wasn’t helpful. I requested for hypoallergenic bed sheets as mentioned in the hotel booklet and she said to ask the staff the next day to do it. I asked if she could pass the message along to the next staff. She said no. She clearly couldn’t be bothered to work here. Don’t stay here. Breakfast is 12.50 euro per pax . The price on trip.com is not accurate. Also there’s like 6 steps to climb up to the tiny elevator that only fits 4 pax

Despite the amazing location, I would never stay here ever again. The building and facilities are in desperate need of an update, the keys are actually keys, not key cards. The room we were initially given was horrendous, it was dingy and small with barely enough room to open our carry-on luggage. Disappointedly furnished; no lamps or side tables, only a bed, desk and chair. The window opened to nowhere, just another wall with a small window facing ours. The desk looked like it went through war and back, scratched all over the surface. The room was not properly cleaned; when I pulled out the chair there was an unidentifiable substance on it that looked absolutely disgusting (Photo attached). I went to reception to discuss this issue because that was simply an unacceptable standard. The receptionist said she could call the cleaner to have it cleaned the next morning and that all the other rooms were booked full for the night. I then asked her if we could get a refund and just cancel the stay because my mom and I would rather stay somewhere else if that was the case. She then took a minute on the computer and gave me keys to a different room on the top floor telling me it was the last room they had and we could move there instead. The new room she gave us was much nicer and brighter; it was spacious with more furnishings and a large window that opened to the main street. The bathroom was a bit strange with the sink and shower in a small room, and the toilet across in a closet-like room. Be warned, there is no hair conditioner, only 3-in-1 wash. One outlet was inoperable. The rest of the facilities were pretty subpar, there is one small elevator that fits 2 people so sometimes taking the stairs is faster. Breakfast was decent enough. All in all, it was not worth the price. The hotel's only selling point is the location.

Basic hotel, not many amenities, but very good location. Right across the central station.

The hotel is just in front of the central station so it's very convenient. The staff were very nice. Regarding the room, AC was not working well and the room was not very clean maybe due to a bit old building.

Great location opposite the station. Reception is kind and friendly. Would recommend for short stay as affordable and convenient.

Good location, we arrived late at night and we were lucky to find a parking spot in front. Front desk service was a friendly man, rooms are unfortunately not the best and shower does not have a curtain. Overall I have seen better hotels for the same price but to stay only one night it is a decent place.
