I was there from Monday to Friday without a proper curtain. When I told them on Tuesday that I was forced to wake up at sunrise (5.30 am in August), because the curtain was missing I was told they would look into it. Nothing changed. On Wednesday I was told that "it might be the architects design decision, they will check" and nothing happened. On Thursday I insisted to get some proper sleep and the curtain was put up in the room. There were two small towels when I arrived. They were not exchanged the next day. I only got a bath towel and fresh small towel upon asking and only once. The floor was so dirty that I only walked around with shoes on. It was never cleaned while I was there. If you are a tea drinker you are out of look with the capsule machine, since you are advised to peel off an extra layer on the top. This is almost impossible and it is incomprehensible to me why no proper capsules can be provided. The window (room 25) looked out onto the patio, which is quiet except for the smokers, so fresh air is not possible unless you enjoy the smell of cigarettes. The hotel is NOT near the city center, but near a tram station- four stops to Westbahnhof and then another six to Stephansplatz, which is the city center in my view. The room is close to where breakfast is set up, so it gets noisy from 5.30 am on, which is when the sun shone into my face anyway. I never gave the breakfast a try, rather enjoy the Vienna cafes. Staff is really nice.
