A great hotel complex. Reception staff were SO helpful, above and beyond! Friendly and can communicate very well in English.
A lovely walk to the marina from the hotel, takes a good 25-30mins though. This is fine but with young children it can take double the time 🤣, so, we hired bikes. The reception staff sorted this for us. It was a great bike rental company.
Choice of three swimming pools but all are not heated. I’m a swimmer, after about 20 lengths I just got colder and colder. But fine for a cool down dip. My six and four year old did get in for a few minutes. They open late, 10am. I like to swim from 7.30/8am. So, if you’re after an early morning swim head for the sea.
We had a massive apar**ent, it was fantastic. All necessities for self catering. Our apar**ent was clean, however, day two the cleaners were at our door around 3pm on our return from a day out. So, we told them not to bother to clean our room so that we could go into it. They did leave us more loo roll and towels. So, our apar**ent wasn’t cleaned throughout our five night stay, but where our apar**ent was so spacious it felt clean and tidy anyhow.
Supermarket serves fresh rolls every morning and has a fair selection. Tasty fruit.
There needs to be more child friendly facilities, like a play park, but the Portuguese don’t seem to have them like we do in England.
Overall, it’s a basic hotel, but clean, pleasant and friendly staff.

Coming to the end of a 6 night stay. Check in was easy and shown to a clean if somewhat tired apar**ent. However, you get what you pay for. It is clean, well sized, comfy bed with plenty of utilities like a fridge, microwave, oven, hairdryer, iron and board. The grounds are immaculate with a small bar and dining area. We only had breakfast and a lunch in the restaurant, it was good quality and value for money. The pool area is quiet with no rush for beds. A well priced supermarket is 5 mins walk away. It’s an easy 30 mins walk to the beautiful marina. There are a couple of restaurants and bars nearby which we used occasionally, again they were good We used Uber on an evening to get to Vilamoura, never paid more than 5 euros. We had an issue whilst draining the bath as discharging water came up through the overflow in the bathroom. After mopping up the towels were swapped. The gratis coach to Vilamoura is convenient but if they could make the 1600 hrs run a little later it would help. All in all a very good relaxed stay.

What a lovely little place to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the sun. We stayed for 4 nights self catering. Apar**ent was adequate but in need of an update, we could see that this was happening in other apar**ents so it's obviously something the owners are doing. Apar**ent was clean and had what we needed, a small kitchenette with kettle, toaster and microwave and a small hob. Decent sized fridge. Bathroom was fine, good shower and clean. Lovely little balcony for sitting and enjoying the evening sunshine. Staff were good and helpful. Pool area was nice, no kids pool and no umbrellas so when it gets hot it's difficult to get shade. Food in the hotel was very nice and reasonably priced, staff friendly. We were about 15 minutes walk from the marina which was a nice walk down. There's a bus 3 times a day that goes to the beach, it's free and is part of the hotel. There's also a little train which costs €6 for the day per adult, it's an experience but a bit of fun! On the whole we enjoyed our trip and would return, our apar**ent was in a quiet part of the complex so was ideal. We also had air conditioning in the room which was included. The hotel cat, Mal, is lovely but she's always sleeping!!

I had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday, staff friendly and helpful, good facilities and accommodation. Great value, handy shuttle bus to beach and marina, also on the tourist train route.

This is one of the friendliest hotels it’s been my pleasure to stay in. We were in room b38 and it was so quiet with lots of bird life around the Director Sarkis and his mama were lovely and gave us lots of tips on how to enjoy our stay even more the rooms were lovely and clean plus being very roomy we upgraded to half board and the food was excellent….will look forward to seeing you all again in October

Booked with Jet2. Two flooded bathrooms, locks and TV not working and not very clean Hotel needs modernising and updating. Definitely not a three star. Three choices at dinner and if you didn't like that you could pay for a la carte. Most staff very friendly and helpful but would not go back or recommend to friends.

Simple clean accommodation with everything you could need. We went out for a weeks golfing. This is the perfect location for golfers. Lovely pool and minutes away from 6 courses. Breakfast is good, not as good as Graces up the road but still good. The evening meals are great. They get fresh fish in every day and the sea bass was amazing. Not the best looking place on the planet but for value you money it is 5 stars. I would also recommend the local bar Sweet Carolines and Chez Carlos and Graces for restaurants. So no need to go into the Marina and pay top dollar.

This hotel is just wonderful, we had such a brilliant stay here. The Staff are friendly and very good at what they do, Julia in the restaurant is a whirlwind, nothing is too much trouble for them. We booked this knowing it was not a 5 star hotel but it far exceeded our expectations, the restaurant was superb and the bar, with entertainment most nights, was a great place to meet other holidaymakers. The studio apar**ent we had was comfortable, clean and well equipped with all that we needed. The cleaning team really take pride in their work and were quick delivering the extra pillow we asked for. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained and the swimming pool was clean, the area surrounding it pretty with plenty of sunbeds. The 3 times daily shuttle bus to the beach runs like clockwork. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, if you want a relaxing break with plenty of restaurants within walking distance or the on site restaurant providing delicious food this could be your place. We will definitely be back.

On the whole we loved it.disappointed with the apar**ent as it was so dark, very old furniture.on the plus side it had lots of space, lovely private patio. On returning home we checked our booking and had booked a superior apar**ent but that isn’t what we got. Vilamoura marina is about 20 minutes easy walking, the beach about 25 minutes. The beach is beautiful, the marina is picturesque. Lots of touts outside the restaurants, we preferred Graces which is only a few minutes walk from the apar**ents. The supermarket is a couple of minutes walk away and has everything you need.
