Solo traveler 3 nights Beautifully situated hotel on a kind of 'cliff'. This is more than a sea view; it's more like 'you're at sea'! with a balcony and the constant sound of waves, great! Room quite complete, only king-size bed (two single beds joined together). In my room (no. 33) it was impossible to get the temperature below 26 degrees even though it was set to the maximum fan. This problem (which was of course denied at first) could be cannot be remedied and negatively affected my experience. The hotel has a swimming pool and the option to descend to a private beach at your own risk (fine for swimming, but with stones and rocks). This is quite an adventure. The hotel has a restaurant where the prices completely not match the service offered. During the day there is time for snacks (if there is a cook who can make an omelette and a cappuccino, but it can also happen that he is simply not there for a while. Annoying because without a car you have to rely on the service of the hotel in this regard. No supermarket nearby. Two tips: gas station in the direction of Bastia center (2 minutes walk away is well equipped in terms of food and 7 minutes walk up the hill there is a great basic Italian restaurant. Reception staff friendly.

Wow what a hotel. So friendly and helpful. Especially the ladies on reception. Breakfast was excellent, the room superb. The restaurant and pool were wonderful. Absolutely no complaints at all. Thank you so much for everything.

Everything was perfect at the Alivi Hotel, even with private beach within a few steps!

Lovely hotel in a great location, 5 mins drive from Bastia port, ideal if you’re sailing into Bastia Spacious clean rooms overlooking the sea. Special thanks to Alesander who was so pleasant and helpful at the lovely breakfast.

Wonderful views friendly staff weather in April was still a bit chilly to use all the facilities but would be lovely in the summer.

I stayed here 6 nights whilst working in Bastia. Taxi from the airport is between €50 - €75 depending on time of day. Great location in terms of privacy and closeness to the albeit rocky beach and about a 20min walk to the centre. It’s a 4 star hotel with the associated high prices. I had a room on the third floor with a fantastic east facing sea view so experienced amazing undisturbed sun rises. The room itself was spacious enough with accompanying private balcony. There’s a mini bar, coffee making facility, power points by the bedside, a safe and ample storage. The bathroom was modern and clean with a bath/shower, separate toilet. Of course there’s air conditioning but I often woke up during the night too hot. The blackout shutters are perfect and didn’t let a single ray of light in - important for an east facing room (all rooms are). House keeping did a good job cleaning but often didn’t replace the complimentary bottled water. Though the breakfast itself wasn’t anything special (but the coffee is excellent) the setting is amazing if you opt to sit on the balcony. However it’s certainly not worth €19 and if I had a car I’d have driven somewhere else for it. The outside areas are well kept and the separate restaurant near the pool is a great place to relax with access to the stony beach below. There’s a pizza restaurant just a 10 minute walk from the hotel but not a lot else. All the staff were helpful and friendly and spoke reasonable English compared to my dismal French. Overall a very nice stay but very expensive but availability at the time was very low in Bastia.

Bon emplacement pour cet hôtel 4 étoiles. Chambres agréables avec un grand balcon vue mer. Bonne literie. Salle spacieuse et moderne . Petit frigo bat dans la chambre. Joli jardin et piscine très agréable face à la mer. Nous avons retiré 1 point sur trip advisor suite à notre expérience en 1/2 pension. Malgré une terrasse très agréable, nappe blanche et superbe vue, le restaurant n'est pas à la hauteur. Service moyen. Portion du poisson minimalisiste. Entrecôte avec beaucoup de gras. Prix déraisonnable. Rapport qualité prix à revoir. Malgré tout, une étape sympathique.
