I traveled with my teenage daughter throughout Italy, stayed mostly in four starts hotels and found the Riviera Mare to be the best hotel., why? It was not pretentious, it was clean, it served the most AMAZING food (best pasta allo scoglio, wine, and escargot I ever had) , BEST wi-fi in Italy, friendly and welcoming people at the reception. I strongly recommend your visit.

Sorry, but apart from cleaning in the rooms and location, for me and my family is a hotel to forget. We have enjoyed full pension for a convention with the company my husband is dependent on. Presumption I went to the wheelchair, unfortunately, when before the holiday I fell and broke my knee. Aware days before they gave us the room at the third floor and the bottom of the corridor. Live who has trouble walking!!! The lift is not normal, so my husband had to close the wheelchair every time to get in there, and I had to be in a corner with a single leg with stamps up to the third floor and vice versa. In the dining room I eaten away from the table because there was no place for the wheelchair ... Another disaster but I fit. Another disaster the restaurant, crude food and sometimes flavorless, often missing fruit. Sweet only the evening, always the same and sometimes even not freeze in time to eat; at the table every time we had to ask for the right dishes for food, cooking and cheese. Organization in the horrible room, you arrived first and you were served last ..... We don't talk about the menu that made you fill in the morning itself and often did not correspond to what you had communicated because in the supplier you had not delivered in time!!!! I am not telling any other episodes as an ascensor one day that is not working and has been closed more than half an hour in a cargo, and I am not sure that it was easy for me, and then in these conditions, even worse. To be a three-star hotel .... I would say one is more than enough. Surely to forget in all senses.

The hotel is located near the beach, in a beautiful area with lovely villas and hotels on the steet side and a wide, sandy beach on the other side. The walls between rooms are thick and that provides you both privacy and silence at night. Rooms also have tea and coffe set as well as a hair dryer.

Iconic Rimini hotel. We loved the historic exterior and public areas, especially the Fellini lounge. The gardens are beautiful and the pool area was relaxing, if rather small given the size of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. On the negative side, the bedroom had a period charm but the furniture was old and not in an antique way. There was also a lot of ambient noise from the fridge which we disconnected at night and the AC, which we never managed to shut down. The bathroom in particular could do with a serious refurb. The spa looked good but we weren't going to pay Eur 80 per person just to use the sauna and sit by the indoor pool. There is a private beach but charging up to Eur 95 for loungers is a steep extra - that said, the room rate was reasonable. Service was polite but not exceptional. On the whole, we enjoyed the hotel but it is teetering on the edge of looking tired, some major investment will be necessary sooner rather than later.

L'hotel ci è stato assegnato dopo aver acquistato un pacchetto per capodanno. Da fuori appare immediatamente vecchio e tenuto male. Alla reception siamo stati accolti con umorismo e battute che definire poco gradite è un eufemismo. Una volta entrati in stanza ci siamo trovati in una lercissima topaia. Sia i muri che le tende presentavano enormi macchie di chissà cosa. La cassaforte malamente appesa a un muro e il frigobar sporco. Sfortunatamente questo è nulla in confronto al bagno. Dalla descrizione dell'hotel sembra quasi che la mancanza di un box doccia sia un pregio quando invece devi praticamente lavarti sul lavandino. Una schifosissima tenda divide il wc e il bidet dal lavandino/doccia, se non rimossa te la ritrovi in faccia qualora tu debba usare uno dei due. Punto a favore il fatto che se si toglie la tenda si può facilmente usare il lavandino e il wc contemporaneamente dato che seduti sull'ultimo ci si trova praticamente con la faccia nel primo. Unica nota positiva in questo mare di sporcizia il balcone spazioso (anch'esso tenuto malissimo)

Abbiamo selezionato questo Hotel tra quelli presenti nel pacchetto di Mirabilandia di 2 notti. Non appena ho prenotato li ho chiamati per sapere se avessero una spondina da inserire nel letto matrimoniale in quanto nostra figlia di 3 anni dorme con noi. In caso contrario mi sono reso disponibile a portarmela io da casa. Mi hanno riferito che avrebbero verificato e fatto sapere. Li ho richiamati io dopo una settimana e mi hanno risposto che ancora non avevano controllato, dopo mezz'ora un ragazzo gentile mi ha finalmente confermato che la avevano. Arriviamo la sera del giorno di check-in dopo essere stai al parco, ci accoglie una signorina molto gentile che ci dice comunque che ormai per quella notte non potevano richiamare il personale delle camere e quindi per la prima notte niente spondina (?). La mattina dopo gli ricordo di farcela trovare in camera e mi assicurano che non ci saranno problemi. La sera al nostro rientro, sempre la signorina mi dice che la dovrebbero aver già inserita e se non dovesse esserci, di richiamare in reception che avrebbero provveduto. Niente di tutto questo! Chiamo il ricevimento, non risponde nessuno, scendo e mi dice che al nostro rientro dopo cena la avremmo trovata in camera. Rientriamo e niente ancora. Il portiere di notte ci dice di attendere 10 minuti che ce l'avrebbero portata in camera (ore 23.10), a mezzanotte chiamo... ”si mi scusi ma abbiamo un problema da risolvere prima”...a quel punto mi sono davvero innervosito e riepilogato quando scritto anche in questa recensione. Ho risolto diversamente accostando il terzo letto alla parte della bimba e non gli ho aperto perchè SOLO DOPO ESSERMI ARRABBIATO AL TELEFONO, in 10 minuti sono arrivati con la benedetta spondina!!! Assurdo che per una cosa così stupida, il ricordo della vacanza sia rovinata dal menefreghismo /incompetenza/mancanza di comunicazioni tra personale. Per il resto mi associo a chi ha scritto che il bagno (soprattutto la doccia) è da rifare e pulire meglio. Ristorante ok. Non torneremo più.

Nel mese di giugno abbiamo prenotato una stanza matrimoniale per l’ultima settimana di luglio. Tutto sembrava andare bene fino a quando 5 giorni prima della partenza siamo stati avvisati di un problema alle tubature della nostra stanza; ci è stato detto che non essendoci camere disponibili in questo hotel, ci avrebbero trasferiti in un Hotel di PARI LIVELLO a quello da noi scelto. A 5 giorni dalla partenza avevamo deciso di FIDARCI ciecamente del proprietario, affidandoci all’Hotel Villa Vera. Dalle foto l’Hotel non sembrava essere disastroso ma il giorno dell’arrivo siamo rimasti SCONCERTATI per quello che abbiamo visto: -porte con chiave “passepatrou” anni ‘60; -letto fatiscente non allineato alla testiera; -televisore piccolo posto ad un’altezza troppo elevata; -climatizzatore non funzionante; -struttura te oppo lontano dalla spiaggia rispetto all’hotel originariamente scelto; -infine il peggior aspetto era il bagno, il bidet posto nella doccia (se non ci sta no mettetelo). Ovviamente non era minimamente comparabile alla nostra scelta originale. Dopo ore di lamentele con il titolare e con le receptionist ci viene magicamente assegnata una camera nell’Hotel Santanna. La camera era diversa ovviamente da quella che avevamo scelto: invece della camera Deluxe matrimoniale con aria condizionata inclusa con interni nuovi e molto curati, ci è stata assegnata una cameretta all’ultimo piano del palazzo senza ascensore (momentaneamente non utilizzabile). Nonostante ciò la camera risultava nettamente superiore all’Hotel Villa Vera. Dopo aver pagato 12€/giorno per la colazione a buffet che era di basso livello, abbiamo riscontrato problemi con l’aria condizionata, infatti dal primo giorno il condizionatore ha smesso di funzionare (comprendiamo i guasti ma potevamo ricevere almeno un rimborso). L’aria condizionata ha funzionato solo per 4 notti su 7. Niente da dire sulla gentilezza del personale che ha fatto il possibile per limitare i problemi della struttura; la camera veniva pulita ogni giorno.
