The location was absolutely perfect. The building is older but the rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly too. It was a bit noisy at night because of a nearby highway but great value for money.

Overall good experience. The location is optimal (by the waterfront/canal/M street. Could really use better internet. Apartment style hotel with studio and 1 bedroom units. New appliances with good dishware but bad cookware. Hardwood floors with 8-9’ ceilings. Plumbing fixtures are sort of low pressure. I’d stay here again, fixes here and there needed.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for over a year and seen how it’s improved so much the rooms are perfect, spacious, nice, the building has one of the biggest and best gyms I’ve seen in a hotel, hotel also has a full laundry room play room, and the staff are very amazing, good energy, very attentive, will talk with you all the employees deserve a raise who works here the house keeping maintenance, cleaners receptionist and management.

The space is as depicted in the photos, near the water front , which is great, we didn’t like the coffee selection, cupcake and strawberry, but we liked the location , half mile from foggy bottom station and 3 blocks to George Town center , the people are friendly and courteous,, WiFi is a little weak

Pros: spacious room, good location, luggage holding after this review for free, not so high cost compared to other establishments in the area Cons: looks a bit rundown, room service only once within my 7 nights stay, on checkout date, there have been numerous bangs at my door even after informing that I was coming out in 5 min. Overall, ok place. I’d come again

We enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Suites. The location was perfect for our work needs. The rooms are spacious and the workers are friendly and did their best to assist with any issues I had. The 4 stars reflects the challenges I had with the internet on my floor during my stay.

The staff was absolutely SO LOVELY! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Great location. Hotel room was… fine. Kinda weird, not the best but staff and location make up for it!

Had everything I needed for the night! It was easy to find and very secure. The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. It’s located in Georgetown, so there are a lot of bars and restaurants within a five minute walking distance, the river is near, too!

The physical space is roomy and comfortable. The staff provided linens and towels. Since we stayed for five days, we were proactive about getting replacements. Being proactive AND following up will help your stay go well here. There are things to note for anyone staying. Internet: The room we were staying in did not have internet access. We arrived on a Thursday night and left on a Monday morning. That whole time, we had no internet access. The staff attempted to troubleshoot by offering other WiFi networks to access, but none were viable. AC: The HVAC system was not working during our entire stay. They attempted to come in and fix it the day after our arrival. The staff provided a floor fan that kept the room ventilated. But, no matter what, the room would get excessively hot, reaching temperatures of up to 80 degrees since the room was facing East and experiencing the hottest sun temperatures. Additionally, you can only crack one window about six inches. It was imperative for a facility that barely opens windows to have a functioning HVAC system. After they attempted to fix it, there was no follow-up, and that was that. Amenities: There was no ironing board, but there was an iron. Additionally, we had to ask for hangers since what was in the room when we got there were two hangers and one broken one. Coming from out of town, you need to hang your items, iron them, and hang them, etc. Staff: The staff was friendly and helpful, given what the facilities gave them to work with, which wasn’t much. Recommendation: It is advisable to call way in advance and check that everything is good to go. The staff's service was very kind, welcoming, and accommodating, but they needed to take concerns more seriously and offer resolutions. It is unacceptable to have proper ventilation/AC or no internet today. I would at least expect it to be taken seriously and followed up on, even if it can't be resolved.
