This was an overall great stay. I was in town for business meetings and would recommend this hotel for SURE for a short stay. The rooms are predictable (if you have ever stayed at CitizenM anywhere else, then you know exactly what to expect) and comfortable. The wifi is good, the A/C is great, the shower and soap are great. Overall fantastic experience.

Location is perfect when planning to visit the Washington DC highlights. Room is clean but compact, staff is okay.

The hotel appears modern, but the rooms are small 'cabin-like' and only really suitable for 1 or 2 nights. There isn't much privacy from the shower/bathroom, and you have to climb over the bed to get to the window.
But it did the job for our 2 nights in Washington where we were out for most of the day anyway.
We couldn't seem to get the AC working for a bit of heat.
The staff were helpful on check-in and it all went smoothly.

You should be aware that rooms are 7’ x 20’. It is VERY small, which is not clearly stated in room description. Also, there are very few dining options within walking distance.
It is very clean and eco-friendly. The smallest, most inconvenient room we have ever had during our extensive travel. King rooms are not big enough for two people, for sure. Security was good.

This hotel is a refreshing change to drab hotels. Very clean - rooms are small, but you'll want to hang out in the very relaxing lounge areas. The rooms are controlled via iPad or the app on your phone. Mood lighting is very cool. I had the pizza at the bar - and it was fantastic - way better than I expected - one of the best pizzas I've had.

Situated 1/2 block from the L'Enfant (locals pronounced it "La Font" ) Plaza subway station; the whole city is accessible.The museums are within walking distance or 1 subway station away.
Rooms are small but comfortable for one or two people. Very clean, ultramodern with big fluffy pillows,sheets and towels.
There are few restaurants open in the evening so eat before making your way back.

The hotel is very conveniently located.
Loved the bed and bedding!
Disappointed there was no coffee machine in the room.
Slight stale odor from the bathroom from drain, not being aired?
In spite of that I may stay there again

“Modern hip” hotel so decor felt a little contrived, but the room was well designed to be compact but comfortable. Some weird misses though, like an elaborate tech setup so that you control everything in your room via iPad yet the smart TV blocked Spotify from casting which meant no way to play music in my room. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was an insane upcharge for a mediocre offering and was poorly staffed on a busy Sunday morning.

I enjoyed the quirky and cool decor, the bar, the meeting and lobby spaces, the very compact but very functional and also cool-looking rooms. Technology worked well and was easy to use (eg, window shades, room lighting, ipad to manage TV and media). Room was well-equipped, amenities were good quality.
