I was here for 2 days with my family. Loved the way they've built the property. However the service was not at par with other properties with similar offerings. 1. Checkin We were given 2 rooms, one with a connected balcony with someone else's room. We asked the reception to change our rooms, as we didnt want to sharebour balcony with anyone. Were denied a change by their reception exexutive coz they were .sold out I had to push, asked for the manager, was then given 2 options for a switch by their manager Kumar (adjoining or different floors), i selected the 1st, but they ended up giving us the 2nd (maybe a communication gap). PS. the reception saw i had senior citizens amongst us, and still goofed up, that made my parents go up and down between floors before they could settle in. 2. Restaurant situation They have 2 restaurant options for inhouse guests, one was packed with external visitors, and the 2nd was space available, with an octoberfest theme. I asked for alacarte and was denied the same without taking their beer package. Thus despite wanting to have a regular lunch with a drink or 2, I took their beer package as Prathmesh (the manager) told me we can't just have alacarte. Now ohers with me preferred hard liquor, wine or cocktails, but we were debied the same coz 'duh sir we have october fest going on'. I requested them to serve cocktails / wine, and was told that webcan get wine, but only by the bottle. We ended up walking out and ordering room service. So yeah, so much for coming to a place of the sort. SO, here i am, asking myself why didn't i revisit Della or Machan instead, because those properties, ***** with providing a good expanse, also care for their customers' comfort and preferences. I hope the management of Oleander Farms sees this and does something about their service, because some of the staff here seem to be too high and proud about being a kickass place to be caring for their guests.
