As I was admitted to hospital, we were unable to use our booking, so cannot comment on the location, cleanliness, service or facilities.
Had we been provided with a working telephone number for the hotel, we would have done the courtesy of letting them know.
I suppose I could have made up a glowing review, to earn the 50 Trip coin bonus.
Is offering a reward for a review a bribe?

We stayed for just one night. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The hotel needs a complete update. Very scruffy outside and although clean inside, the rooms need a complete facelift.

We have had the best experience at the Retford travel lodge all members off staff are amazing and helped regardless but one amazing person stood out from them all and her name is kaz no matter what we asked she was always there with a smile and helped us with coffee tea sugar ext and we appriciate everything she has done so thankyou so much from the 3 amigos :)

Great location and clean well presented rooms. Emma on reception was exceptional. She welcomed us warmly and was hugely accommodating despite our late arrival time and large amounts of baggage. To receive 10/10 service in the early hours is a welcome rarity and it helped us quickly overcome our travel fatigue. We were in our room and comfortable in record time. Thanks again.

Great stay - good value and just what you need on a motorway stopover! Karen on reception was super friendly and welcoming, even at 1am! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing an inexperience, no frills place to crash overnight with family.

Stayed for one night on a Friday. Place was directly on A1 and whilst a bit noisy with the window open, once the windows were shut it was fine. The room itself was tired but as normal the bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you Kaz! Would definitely use again if I needed. This hotel provides very easy access to the A1 North and south.

Paid for early check in. Really enjoyed our stay. Nice clean room and big bed. Kaz and Lisa were really helpful with our wedding party. Would stay again. Good location next to the a1. Next to McDonald’s and kfc. Good carpark. Grass was cut and smelt nice

We were kept awake by traffic noise all night - got up at 4.30am and left the hotel at 5. We had enough

Have stayed here before and this time found the room very dated. There also seemed to be missing furniture as no table in the room other than the narrow dressing table. Bed was ok although a little squeaky, but pretty good value for money. We stay in Travel Lodges a lot but found this one needing some TLC.
