Beds were comfortable but the bathroom fixtures were rusty and the water is brown. The breakfast was passable but inn keeper kept running his fingers through his hair while preparing our food. Needs to work on food hygiene skills.

We stayed in the Renate room, it was stunning! The decor and ambience perfect! Wonderful breakfast and conversation with the owners son. Will definitely stay again!

I opted to stay at the Hamilton House Inn over night rather than a traditional hotel. It was so quiet, I couldn't hear any road noise. Most hotels are built near highways and almost always there is road noise. The Hamilton House in is in a quaint town and it a very walkable area. My room was well appointed and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Check out the awesome views from the second level decks if you stay here. The host is wonderful!

A lovely place to stay. Very nice.
However I would recommend that for the breakfast that is served, that the person preparing the food put on gloves and hair net. Found a hair in my fruit bowl. Also should be mindful that cross contamination can happen while handling cell phone calls and going back to meal prep without washing hands.
May also suggest having a plant based sausages option.😊

Wonderful stay in a beautiful room. Very festive holiday decorations in the area.loved our stay! Great cooked to order breakfast made by a very friendly and informative young man. Will return!

It's a historical building.The facilities are certainly old but very clean.I don't see the hotel staff until I check in and enter my room.It is sufficient to communicate everything by e-mail.The response is quick.You can also feel the functionality in the oldness.If you knew in advance that there was free water or snacks, you didn't have to go to a store and buy water.

This was a very nice stay, local restaurants in walking distance. Hosts were very nice, breakfast was great as well. Only thing below average was our mattress was not comfortable. One side would sink making it tough to sleep. Other than that, the place was great.

I love the understated elegance of the property. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are always high-quality. The rooms are quiet and very homey. The location is very conveniently positioned near restaurants and shopping in the quaint Downtown Monroe area.
