Hotel Prince Regent

A very pleasant stay with Daish Coach Holidays. My room was fine and the meals were good. Entertainment is provided every night and is a of a high standard. Normally I don't bother with the entertainment. The staff however made the holiday worthy. Our waiter Nelson is excellent, professional and very friendly. Thank you Nelson The two bar staff Lee and Nelson were really great and had a great rapport with the residents. Stephanie, one of the managers was warm, friendly and very professional. I would certainly return to the Prince Regent.

Just had a lovely week at the prince regent. Good coach journey both ways , Food and accommodation were both good , With entertainment each night, some nights better than others, but on the whole an enjoyable stay, staff all friendly and helpful.room was clean and warm, Good value holiday.

had a very pleasant stay everything was good met some nice people as always entertainment good. Staff work very hard to please everyone.

Enjoyed our 5day break here, we had a double room right at the top of the hotel, it could do with redecoration, but was clean with a comfortable bed. Generally the food was very good, especially as I need to be gluten free and dairy free, they took care to ensure I didn't get ill. The entertainment was reasonable of course that is personal choice, but there are places to read or play games instead. Generally we had a good experience here and wouldn't hesitate to return.

This is our sixth holiday with Daish and once again very enjoyable. The staff at The Prince Regent were extremely friendly and helpful. If we have one criticism it would be that an amount of mould was present in the bottom corners of the shower otherwise the room was very good with lovely sea views.

my review is based on the price we paid, many guests paid over a hundred pound less than we did, so based on this, the food was hit and miss most days very poor under cooked potatoes or burnt had fish cakes one night they were revolting found out later that most of the dining room sent them back, dont know how you can get tough veg ? a comment we heard a few time wa,s well we didn't pay that much its cheap and cheerful value for the money, well i dont think we had that at all , the TV didn't work in our room all the time of our stay reported it 3 times it didn't get fixed it had no signal my husband tried to retune it and checked the aerial with no joy I'm 99% certain that its been like this for weeks and that the new people in there still dont have a Tv in room 219. on a better note the staff were nice the Hotel was clean we had a lovely big room with a very comfy bed the room was clean

Beds were comfortable except pillows were a little hard . Breakfast was nice . Evening meal not so good . The evening entertainment was really good . Quiz first then one game of bingo . Very nice and helpful staff

On first arriving found the hotel to be clean and was really nice bedroom with sea view was excellent.heating in the corridors was simplt to hot.entertainment was excellant and the barman lee was first class.the food was the big let down anded up eating out for breakfast and evening meals one evening we were served with black potatoes and raw cabbage.there was a large group from plymoth staying and one lady approached the older receptionist to complain .she was told that she would get back to her bud never did and was quite rude to this lady.our waitress was a nice young lady and very apologetic about the food.quite simply daishes need rethink the kitchen and start serving decent edible food even if it means increasing prices a bit.as so many people were complainig about it.we would return as the hotel was nice but only if the food is improved

Stayed on a Daish's Sunday to Thursday coach holiday. I was allocated, as requested, a top floor single room, which had a sea view, was very quiet and suited me perfectly. All the staff were friendly and efficient especially at meal times which was not easy for them as the hotel was fully booked at the time. Food was generally good, with plenty of choice and adequate portions. Entertainment was provided nightly, but I did not attend any on this occasion, so cannot comment. I enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you.
