Everything went well at check in. The room was much bigger than we needed… a separate bedroom from the living room. More than what we thought we’d get. Comfortable king size bed. We were in Room 272 which is directly above the office, meaning that I awoke at 3:00am hearing a television and singing. I’d fall back asleep anyway. Around 7:00am we heard a washing machine spinning fairly loudly. About an hour after we checked out while having coffee downtown, I realized I had left my I-Pad Faraday cover on the bathroom counter. We went back and spoke to the woman in the office who gave me the key to get back in the room. The room had already been cleaned and there was no I-Pad Faraday cover. I saw a cleaning lady in the hallway and spoke to her about it. She said she hadn’t seen it while not being able to look me in the eye. I know where I left it and no one else had been in the room. Why would she lie? What good does stealing and lying about it do? I was pissed, but what could I do? I’ll tell you what. If you look at any of my TripAdvisor reviews, you will see that I’ve never written a bad review. I only write reviews when restaurants and hotels go above and beyond the call of duty and give me exceptionally good service. This is a first. I’m sorry I had to write it, but thought that, at least, the office manager should know about the antics of their cleaning lady.
