Premier Inn Wigan (M6, J25)

Service was good staff very friendly, unfortunately we were not made aware of the food deal , when I asked a member of staff I was informed that there was a poster with the information, unfortunately this poster was on the right hand side of the wall where you open the door to the accommodation which when the door is open you cannot see the poster.

Excellent hotel, rooms are very clean and all staff friendly. I like you can help yourself to extra tea and coffee from the desk. Food next door was ok, enough choice and reasonably priced. Location was perfect for what we needed just off the motorway

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to watch the racing at the Three Sisters race circuit. It’s in a great location to get there and is close to the motorway and Asda and Sainsbury’s. We were put in one of the newly refurbished room which was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were all friendly. We are at the attached Brewers Fayre for an evening meal which was excellent. We will be staying here again

Just spent 4 nights at this hotel, and was surprised by how large and well equiped the rooms are. You can hear a pin drop at night, it's that peaceful. Particularly liked the comfy armchair, spacious shower and cleanliness of the entire hotel. All the staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Particular mention and thanks to Josh, who was was great at finding me an alternative driving route to the airport for a 6am flight, whilst the M6 nearby was closed overnight. All the reception team helped with that dilemma so thanks to all of them, but he must have seen the blank look on my face, and mapped out the route for me. Much appreciated.

If you want no sleep at all, then this is the place. First night, we had disturbed sleep due to the heat in the room and there is no air flow because the window doesnt open to allow any air in. The second night, two men arrived and were put in the room next to ours. From the minute they arrived, they were disruptive. Shouting and yelling in their room and coming and going from their room until the early hours of the morning. They would sit in their car for periods of time and because their car was parked under our window, we had to shut it because of the amount of noise they were making. The next day, they woke us again at 5am and we decided to get out as soon as possible. As i left my room at 7am, they two men were also leaving their room and they followed me from my room and made remarks to me. They reached their car and one of them said that before they get breakfast, they should rev their engine as to wake everyone up. By the time we had breakfast and left at 8am, they were still in their car being disruptive. Im shocked that despite two members of staff being behind reception being witness to this behaviour, they did nothing to ensure the safety and enjoyment of other guests. I always thought there was a curfew of some sorts implemented in these establishments. In addition, the room was filthy and shabby. The hallway stinks and it’s evident that guests are smoking in their rooms somehow. If i hadn't of paid for the stay prior to checking in and experiencing this, i would have been reluctant to pay at all.

This Premier Inn was dependably excellent as usual, the staff, the room, the facilities, the breakfast.

Room was not the cleanest we’ve stayed in tea stains on the wall and skirting boards. Chipped mug in room and stale wotsit under the edge of the bed. Used to love a premier inn for the air con however this room was very stuffy and we had the window open all the time. Shame they don’t provide this facility any more.

Lovely reception staff. Made to feel very welcome. The room is very clean and the facilities in the disabled bathroom first class. As I have lung and back problems and any help provided is gratefully received. The basic standard at Premier Inn is first class!!

Overall my trip has been saved by a FANTASTIC member of staff., This individual made my stay what it has been and i hope he is rewarded by the company for the levels he went to. William, thank you so very much for all your hard work, without you this would not have been the same. GIVE THIS MAN A PAY RISE
