The Shore House

Second year I stayed at the Shore House. The family and our pup enjoyed it very much. My favorite place to stay and I’ve already booked 2025. The staff from Diego, Janet & Matt were outstanding. The place, inside and outside, extremely clean and well taken care of. One block from the boardwalk. Picture below of our very happy Shore House pup sporting a bandana.

We went with our dog for the Irish Festival in North Wildwood. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were seamless. We handled online. Communication during and before our stay was excellent. Could have handled everything online but we stopped in office a couple of times to talk to staff.(and get dog treats) We had a one bedroom suite. Two double beds in bedroom, a sofa and trundle bed in living room. Kitchen was well equipped and had Keuring for morning coffee. (Also had Keuring and expresso in office) We enjoyed the terrace with the turf, lounges, chairs and fire pit.We didn't use pool but appreciated hose with warm water to rinse our dog after the beach. As you can tell, we are dog people. The room was very clean and we paid extra for the dog. (no problem. But just want to assure those without pets that this fee is to cover extra cleaning to avoid dog related allergies etc.) We highly recommend

Once again, another great stay at the Shore House. My fiance and I came down for the Fire Convention/my birthday weekend. The staff was very kind. We even got a room upgrade. We were suppose to be in the king suit and got upgraded to the double king apartment! They have a lot of complementary items for the guests, including bikes! This is our favorite place to stay in Wildwood!

Stayed here for a night over the fourth of July weekend and could not be happier. My room was clean and quiet, I had ample space to get some work done from home and my dog was welcomed with open arms by the staff. The hotel is adorable and unlike anything else you’ll find on the island. 10/10 and can’t wait to go back!!

This was the HORRIBLE experience. Everyone DO NOT go here. From the first night the bed was broke and paying 2k+ and the bed broke for 4 days is unacceptable. After being move to another room then I get out next to construction. I have video and pictures I am posting on google. The customer service you as it is white trash. HORRIBLE!!! Worst people I have ever meet. Do not stay here I rather had stayed in my car.

Hidden gem in North Wildwood!! 1 block from boardwalk, dog friendly, fresh retro vibe… very clean and comfortable , and the friendliest owners and staff. Not your typical wildwood hotel… a nice escape! Highly recommended!!

So many things were excellent about this motel. It has an excellent vibe, great customer service, lovely fire pits and sofas, outdoor pool, free laundry, 2 room accommodations, lovely AC, free bikes for loan, free beach cart, and chairs, bedroom was nice and dark, free parking was great. The location is also fantastic! The things that could be improved. There is a construction project next door that starts at 8 sharp every morning, would have liked to have been aware of this prior to arrival. The pool closing at 7 and opening at 10 is kind of a bummer, we would have liked longer hours. The bathroom was teeny tiny, with really no where to store anything. Our bathroom had no lock which was kind of annoying when sharing with 4 people.

Outstanding service. Beautiful aesthetic. Clean rooms. Great amenities. Wonderful spot for couples vacation. Only minor issue was that our room smelled a little funky. Above all, however, Janet and the other staff really made a personal connection through answering my numerous questions, and even provided my girlfriend with a complimentary gift for her birthday. Probably the best spot in Wildwood

Rainy weekend, but best place! Perfect location, one block from the start of the boardwalk and beach! Easy to check in and out, everyone was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfy, loved seeing the cute dog guests. Would stay again, sure a bit pricier than a standard motel but worth it. Cute, friendly folks, great location. FYI if you have a 4x4 you can drive right into the beach for a small fee.
