Curacao Gardens

We had initially booked 5 nights to stay at this property but the apar**ent was in no condition to be slept or stayed in . The entire apar**ent was dirty. Thhai in the shower and bathroom, dirty toilet, the couch and the bed sheets were completely stained. We slept on towels! The owners attended to us and sent someone the evening of our arrival to clean but is was still very subpar. They didn’t have a vacuum or broom, only a mop. We decided not to stay here but due to the fact that we couldn’t find another place to stay on our first night, we had to stay the one night at this location . The owner offered to refund us for 4 of the 5 nights but not the first night. There was no AC in the kitchen and living area. And once we checked in, we were notified we would be charged for the electricity to run the 3 air conditioner units past 6 hrs a day. AC was only in the bedrooms and closet. The rest of the house was extremely hot!! You couldn’t even use the kitchen because of the heat! The entrance to the unit was terrible and the roads in no condition to roll your luggage . The owner did not even offer to help us upstairs with our luggage. There was no designated parking as indicated on ***********. The area is not well-lit at night and unpleasant to walk after sunset, we felt extremely unsafe . I would not recommend this place/unit to anyone coming to stay in Curaçao!

Great property, great location, great communication with managers

I booked though ******* and upon arrival, the host informed that there was a $100 cleaning fee. The host, Paula, was unhelpful as far as directions and not very welcoming. The apar**ent was dark and hot. You also have to pay for electricity overages. I do not recommend this place.

Had a great stay at Kas Di Laman in October 2022. Paula was helpful and responsive as the property manager. The property is quiet and lush, with a large, shared common space in the gardens adjoining the different apar**ents in the complex. The plunge pool in the common area was great for our 8 year old daughter to entertain herself while my wife and I hung out on the loungers and read our novels. Our apar**ent was clean and well equipped. We unfortunately had a lot of construction noise from the apar**ent across from ours - they were renovating it - so this was our only complaint but Paula and the owner were very apologetic and offered a bit of a refund for our lost sleep, which we really appreciated. The best part about Kas Di Laman is the location. Maira's kitchen across the street is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner and makes delicious smoothies. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and took many entertaining walks in the area to enjoy the local art (murals everywhere!) and wildlife (dogs and chickens mainly lol). Really a great location, walkable to many great restaurants (Bario, Bodega, Gouverneur) and a perfect launch pad feom which to explore the island.

Amazing experience, Paula was a fantastic host. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the deluxe apar**ent 26A for 6 nights of our recent trip to Curacao. The area is located in the more historical district- walking distance into Williamstad, and good "base" area to stay for day trips to the west beaches. The little private soaking pool was a bit chilly, but refreshing, and the outdoor patio was lovely, the front porch also has a nice balcony overlooking the streets for local culture and vibes. The apar**ent was very clean, comfy beds- good bathroom, and well stocked kitchen and relaxing sitting area. The housekeeping staff was attentive and changed our towels and sheets out while we were there for a certain number of nights. A car is must to leave the area, it's not a safe biking place with crazy drivers and too hot there to ride a bike anyways. No where to lock them up anyways. We felt very safe at the apar**ent, our host was responsive and helpful. Check out the Space next door for massage and yoga! Maria's has good food next door too! The hose was nice to wash out our snorkel gear. The washer was also helpful. Electricity and water is very expensive on the island ( as well as food and beverage) so be careful with your usage. We only used the air conditioner at night while we slept, and the breeze as great during the day with the windows and doors open! We also used the airport pick up service which was very helpful and professional. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This place is very cozy and breathtaking. If you like simple, natural and cozy stuff, I definitely recommend it to you. I loved it.

Very charming and unique we all had our privacy.

A hospedagem é boa. Infelizmente nossa experiência não foi boa. Isso porque, no checkin nosso quarto estava sujo quando chegamos à noite, e tivemos que dormir em outro quarto pela primeira noite e mudarmos para o quarto reservado. Não fosse a agilidade e gentileza do funcionário Miguel, que merece aqui todos os cumprimentos, estaríamos mal atendidos. Além disso, fomos contados por uma taxa de limpeza da qual sequer fomos informados com antecedência, e conforme o extrato da reserva recebido por mim no meu e-mail aos 15/8, todos os valores e taxas já haviam sido pagos. Enfim, uma experiência desagradável, pois fui cobrado insistentemente por uma funcionária após o checkout enquanto estava aproveitando as minhas merecidas férias de lua de mel com a minha esposa.
