Room was beautifully decorated in a style appropriate to the 1800s era. Sheets were crisp and bed was comfy. Location top notch...walkable to bars & restaurants and in a neighborhood of homes all on the historical register. Breakfast huge and delicious. Free parking right in front of the inn much appreciated!

We thought it was mostly clean other then massive paint peeling in our bathroom ceiling . We paid 730 for 2 nights . Nobody greets you and other then cook we saw nobody . The breakfast was by far the most pathetic . I am not joking when I say BEST WESTERN breakfast is better. Prepackaged sausage and quiche . Literally 5 baked goods with no jelly or honey . Individually packed butter and cream cheese . Had to ask them for any fruit and they scrambled to put pineapple out…

SUPERB!
Beautiful accommodation & excellent location. This is such a quaint place to stay, the rooms are beautifully decorated in an olde worlde style. Superb breakfast & fantastic service. The attention to detail is second to none.

The photos don’t do it justice - it’s ridiculously spacious and beautiful. The furnishings are lovely, the bed is comfortable, and the linens are luxurious. The breakfast was delicious, and everyone was friendly and helpful. It’s the nicest Bed & Breakfast we’ve ever visited. We’ll absolutely be back.

The property is lovely. One hitch so far, we have no remote for a tv that is on top of an armour. The front desk is closed at 5:00 so no help till morning .

Very comfortable bed and pillows. You don't want to miss their fabulous breakfast and my husband loved the fresh baked cookies always in the front hall. Nice porchs to sit on and have a drink. We would stay again if ever in the neighborhood.

We were unsure about storm conditions during Debby and they were gracious enough to refund our total payment at the last minute even though the policy didn't allow for such cancellations. They earned our loyalty and we will certainly stay at Verandas when we finally get to explore Wilmington when there is less atmospheric turmoil! . Customer service matters!

This was my third time staying here. We had a difficult time getting in due to Expedia's issue but luckily all worked out and we enjoyed our over night stay. Breakfast was amazing as always
