We were made to feel welcome from the moment we turned up. Given a guided tour by the lovely Beverly. She then showed us the best places to visit. Hotel was spotless as well as homely. Breakfast was good quality food with lots of options. Would highly recommend and we are definitely returning in the new year

Really enjoyed my stay. Beverley gave a really warm and friendly welcome, the room was clean, bright and spacious, and the breakfast was excellent. It's a short walk to both Windermere and Bowness centres, so was ideal for exploring the Lakes without a car.

Lovely stay in a great location and lovely hosts. We will definitely return. Thanks to Neil and Beverley for a wonderful time. Breakfast was lovely too and the bath in the room was a bonus and very relaxing. Great for walks into Bowness and Windermere

Enjoyed my stay at The Coppice. Situated in a perfect location, very close to the train station (14 mins walk, 6 mins bus) and amenities like restaurants and shops. Helps when the bus stop is right the corner. The hosts were excellent, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was timely and very well made to order. Although the room we stayed in was small, it didn't take anything away from the overall experience because the bed was comfortable. Will definitely recommend staying at the coppice if you're in Windermere. Will definitely stay again.

An excellent location for exploring both Bowness and Windermere. The host Beverley was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information on local places to both eat and drink. Our room was very clean and spacious, was at top of the house so had to mind your head on some beams but fine. Breakfast was very good, local produce used where possible. 7 minutes walk up to Windermere and 15 minutes walk down to Bowness. A few routes down ether road or through the woods.

What a fantastic place we had a great room the host was amazing and so informative and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and the location was just right. Nearer to Bowness which is lively whereas Windermere few minutes away and much quieter

Lovely guest house with fantastic hosts Beverly and Neil. Beverly took the time to explain where the local points of interest were, which was really helpful as this was my first time in Windermere. The room was modern, cosy and had the usual teas and coffees, and the welcome sherry was a really nice touch. Breakfast was good quality and tasty. Overall, we had a lovely experience and I would definitely go there again.

Beautifully clean room and well designed. The breakfast was cooked very well with locally sourced ingredients. Beverly was a host with mind full of information on local eateries and places to visit. Will definitely re-book in the future.

Our host Beverley was very welcoming and wonderful throughout our stay, beautiful property, well cared for and clean, nothing was too much trouble. Great location just off the main road through Windermere, a little bit of traffic noise in the day only to be expected but quiet at night, wouldn't hesitate to stay again, thank you to all at The Coppice.
