Legoland Windsor Resort

This is the cutest hotel we have ever stayed. Definitely bring our daughter next time. All kids will love it

We stayed at the Legoland resort hotel this weekend, this would be our second visit and unfortunately was even more disappointing than the first time. We can’t fault the park the rides and food/drink outlets were amazing! However the hotel, hotel restaurant, entertainment and staff let the whole experience down! The Bricks restaurant and Skyline Bar is diabolically, no variety on menu at all and the food is so expensive! It’s actually shocking the price of food in these restaurants however The Tavern in the Castle hotel is absolutely lovely and so worth the money, the staff are lovely in that restaurant but unfortunately so fully booked all the time because everyone books with them as they don’t want to eat at the other two restaurants! The entertainment was poor, we paid £10 for the Marvel comic machine that’s situated in The Legoland Hotel entertainment area and it didn’t print the photos out so I went to reception to report this where I was told to go back to the machine and a staff member will be along to help me with this, we waited 30 minutes with numerous staff members walking past and no one came! Absolutely livid! The lifts were out of order which was a nightmare considering we was on the 4th floor! I told them I had a heart condition so was hard for me to climb a lot of stairs, I wasn’t once offered help with my bags by any of the hotel staff instead was just watched struggling with them by the cleaning team so my poor partner had to do numerous trips up and down the stairs with the bags, once we got to the room it was very cold on the first day/night the room just wouldn’t warm up, the room was clean though, not really much of an adventure themed room unfortunately the pirate theme room was much better when we last visited, I didn’t even get offered to move down a few flights of stairs for a kingdom room to save me struggling physically which took me back a-bit with the whole customer service point of view. My step son really found the LEGO tv boring he was so frustrated that he couldn’t watch anything else on the telly ie - kids programmes it was either channel 1,2,3,4,5 or LEGO tv. The playroom at the hotel is very good and keeps the littlens very occupied and it’s even better how us parents can sit in there and have a coffee etc to relax. However I don’t agree how we have to pay separate for this playroom i believe this should be free for hotel guests that have already paid a massive chunk already to stay like the swimming pool is free for hotel guests so why can’t the playroom be free also? We also paid £150 for a Birthday VIP package and I couldn’t fault this the amount of gifts my step son got was actually very good and all to take home with him so this is also definitely worth the money. All in all we won’t be coming back at least for a few years and when we do come back we will stay at The Castle hotel, I think the Legoland resort hotel massively let’s the whole experience of Legoland down, the decor is amazing but the staff, e

The theme park was great and the had the expected waiting times! We stayed in the legoland Hotel adventure room was exciting for the children. Staff seemed very fed up on occasions and reluctantly helped. Lifts out of order. Extremely overpriced underwhelming food. The entertainment at 5pm was very poor and having an 8 & 9 year old totally unimpressed! More suitable to the under 5’s. Very expensive weekend with no real perks. Come on LEGOLAND you could do better with everyday families and not just the VIPs!!

Lovely rooms ( we stayed in the kingdom room) but pillows and duvet covers not so good. Paper thin duvets. Entertainment is purely for under 8s and restaurants are so so expensive! Just under £20 for a burger in the hotel! We went out and found a kfc first night then ordered a macdonalds on Deliveroo second night. Breakfast which was included in the price wasn’t actually that bad! The playroom in the hotel is free for premium rooms but for us having paid a premium price already was £10 for 1 child and 2 adults!! We had 2 kids! It’s a room full of Lego builds! Why is this not included in the price?! It’s in the hotel and just a kick in the teeth for the kids unless u want to pay!! My husband took our eldest for an hour in the evening as my older child didn’t want to go! We then paid another £30 to do the golf! You had 4 different sections to choose from, again you could only pic one course! I think you get a small £10 discount but for what it is that’s not a lot either! As we went on a Thursday and a Friday we only queued for 15 mins max. Got on every older child ride over the 2 days. I paid over £700 for 2 nights and 2 days in the park. I didn’t get the 2nd day free which I thought was a cheek as we booked 2 days in the hotel on site. After booking only about 2-3 weeks later the price had dropped by £150 and the 2nd day in the park was included! I booked back in January and LEGOLAND didn’t care and wouldn’t honour the price change. I should have paid the £20 cancellation fee but as it didn’t say anything about if the price changes ect I didn’t bother as had no intention of cancelling. I should have as was told after I could have cancelled my stay and then rebooked it! Otherall the kids loved it but wouldn’t do it again?! No most probably not! Especially at that price!

We stayed in the castle hotel for the first time and had a wonderful time. My 3 year old daughter had the best time. The hotel room was very clean ( despite finding an empty bottle of vodka under the bed). I work for Merlin so I'm aware of the staff training and how we are supposed to make memorable experiences for guests the Legoland staff didn't disappoint. My daughter was made to feel very special.

Just home from a 3 night stay at Legoland hotel and overall had a great experience, family of four, children aged 4 & 7. We purposefully booked during term time knowing the park would be quieter, we also took advantage of two days entry offer. Hotel We booked a standard pirate themed room, nice and clean and a great surprise for the children. Treasure hunt and Lego gifts were a nice surprise. We spent our first night in room 337 - if you are a young family and wanting to do bedtime and kids asleep earlyish this room (& I suspect the adjacent rooms) are not for you! They are directly above the bar which has loud disco music until 9pm. I cannot fault the customer service team who moved us on request to a room at the other end of the hotel. We were kindly upgraded to a premier pirate room which had a nicer view and most importantly for us was quiet. This made up for our disappointment of the night before. If your family are likely to attend the evening entertainment this part of the hotel will not be a problem. We knew to book swimming and breakfast in advance in an email so had that all pre booked. Pool is ok, it was busy and when most people are in the pool area it felt overcrowded. You do not need to take towels and kids had a great time. The lifts were out of order which was causing chaos for some families with push chairs etc. The staff were there to help and must have been exhausted. I am sure this is beyond their control and doing what they can to rectify this, we did receive an email in advance to let us know. We managed to park fine. Lots of meet and greet opportunities which was great. Restaurants Yes it is very expensive but if staying at a resort hotel I think you do expect this. There is a fridge in the room and if we go again I would take bits to make sandwiches etc. pizzas are very tasty. Take a few bottles of water as it’s very expensive to buy. Breakfast was fine. Legoland We were fortunate to go during a quiet spell with nice weather, not a lot of inside activities for poor weather days. Had a fantastic time and glad we had two days to enjoy it! Park was very clean and lots of staff available for support. Of course the food and drink was super pricey but we budgeted for that and lots of families had picnics, because it was quiet a couple of restaurants were closed. Looking at the length of some of the queue areas I can imagine there must be a lot of waiting on busier days. Golf As a hotel guest we enjoyed the golf at a reduced rate of £7.50 and got a second game free. Had we paid £13 each for one game I would have been extremely disappointed. Lots of parking, quite a hike from hotel so if you have it planned in you can drive up. Overall we had a brilliant time, the customer service with our room issue was managed excellently and the park was great.

We visited for a weekend break with two days at the park to celebrate my 6 year old birthday. Shortly before e arrived, we received a message that the lifts would be out of order for the duration of our stay. That was quite annoying as we had a toddler in a pushchair as well as luggage. It did say in the message that they would offer to help us carry everything upstairs but when we arrived, no one offered to help and it was quite busy so we had to make 3-4 trips. The room itself was nice. A bit dusty here and there but overall it was clean and obviously lots of fun cod the kids. My eldest completed the scavenger hunt but only found a present for the little one in the safe. He was a bit disappointed so we called reception. After 20min we gave up as no one picked up which was a bit disappointing. So downstairs we go again to speak to someone in person. They were super nice and apologetic and gave us a little something for our eldest. We didn't have dinner at the hotel so can't comment on that but we had breakfast the next day. Everyone was super friendly. It would have been nicer to have a buffet style breakfast, I think, but the food was OK! Parts of it were cold though so you could tell they struged a bit as it was so very busy. We spent two days in the park but the second day the weather was really bad and we had seen and done a lot already so we left early afternoon. Overall, we had a good time but for the much money I would have expected a little more. Small things really make a difference here. Like offering to help with the luggage, if that's what you advertise. Pick up the phone. Don't forget one of the kids when "stocking" the safe.

The beds where absolutely comfortable an amazing prices and I like the way they do a quiz for the room so that you can get some prizes in a safe as well my 2 boys and my husband and me really enjoyed it and definitely be returning soon great for the family.
