After decades of travel, my first hotel review: not a favored place to stay.
We were visiting family, for six nights, and picked this hotel based on price, reviews, and location. When we arrived, we were told “room service is every other day”, even though an e-mail had suggested every four nights; great! Though we were gone during the days, we never received room service. It is easy to make promises like this because most people do not stay very long and infrequent cleaning is never missed.
After two days of lukewarm showers, they did return the hot water, but left a mess we had to clean up, ourselves. We had a spacious “studio”, but the bathrooms are very tight and hard to negotiate.
There is no guest laundry. “I’m not from here, but everyone uses the Maytag Laundry in Woodinville.” That referral was good.
They have a functional electric vehicle charger, which gets good use. This is a nice feature.
Everything appears well maintained, but the elevators have distinct and thought-provoking personalities.
This is a wine town, so be aware some nights will be challenging for light sleepers. The highway is constantly a source of noise, even at 3 in the morning. The air conditioners are a source of a low frequency hum throughout the building, made obvious when they turn off.
They do provide bottled water, coffee and good cookies. After 6 days of generating empty plastic, we might suggest a water urn, instead.
