Staff was rude. I walked in to check in with my family. The staff at the desk was not working until I walked in. Then she plucked a card from the rolodex and started to work. No hello, no good afternoon. She continued to ignore me for 3 minutes as I stared at her. Then she said, "Can I help you?" I was floored. This is the first person that I had contact with and already horrible customer service.
The cleaning staff was also vaping in the athletic room next to the pool. She was nasty and angry for no reason.
I travel to Wooster for work a lot. I will not be staying here again.

We would definitely stay in this Hampton again.
I had my granddaughters with me and they thought the pool was excellent.

There was an issue with my room key when checking in because of a computer glitch and the front desk clerk worked diligently to get the problem fixed

Good base of operations when attending Ohio Light Opera. Close to a Bob Evans and several good restaurants. Also great if visiting the College of Wooster.

We made reservations out of desperation when we couldn’t get a room at the designated hotel nor anywhere else but we plan to return to this Hampton Inn when we return in the fall. The room was clean and well appointed (expected), the location exceeded our expectations, the breakfast was outstanding. But what puts this HI above and beyond was the front desk staff who were knowledgeable, friendly and remembered us, our reservation, our needs snd interests. Sorry the pool wasn’t open but it was for OUR safety not THEIR convenience.

Pool was closed which was a big let down for the kids in our party. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful and the breakfast offered has many options

Property needs upgrading - Hamptons are usually newer building. Staff was very friendly.
