Very well located in central Wurzburg. By the river - and a short stroll to the famous Kranen - not to mention the riverside bar next door Room was clean and comfortable, if a little basic in furnishings. Breakfast very good. Language barrier at reception meant we didn't get a lot of tourist information, but the fault was ours for not speaking better German. Hotel is only a few minutes from tourist info office in any case

Very cozy hotel located on the River Main (had a great view) in the Old Town with good restaurants and bars nearby. Good value with nice breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff and front desk. About a 15-minute walk from train station.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel as part of our Romantic Road trip. We booked on line with the hotel directly 1 1/2 months prior to arrival and requested for a room with a view. Unfortunately, upon arrival in the hotel at around 15.30 hrs we were given a room facing the back road. The girl at the counter insisted on several occasions that no other rooms were available until a few minutes later she came to our room and offered a move to a room with a view. It was well worth the trouble as it makes such a difference to look out to the river and castle on top of the hill. The rooms themselves look recently renovated and are very comfortable. There is a split air con unit which makes for a comfortable room climate during the hot summer days. Both windows facing the road and river can be fully opened and there are electric black out blinds and drapes. The windows are fully soundproof and we slept very comfortably. The beds are 2 singles pushed together in the usual German style. The bathroom is small with a shower, wash basin and toilet. Although very compact, everything works. The water pressure is strong and there is liquid soap and shampoo in dispensers. There is a big flat screen TV with a lot of German and International channels, a fully stocked mini bar, in room safe and 2 USB charging points at the desk. A Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee pods is also available. Breakfast is the usual spread of German breads and bread rolls, cold meat and cheese, cereals and scrambled eggs. We had a very comfortable stay and I would have rated the hotel as excellent if not for the hick up with the location of the view. The gentleman with beard who checked us out was very friendly. We came by car and left our vehicle in the public car park just across the road from the hotel. Overnight parking is Euro 19.00 per day and there is no discount for hotel guests. My suggestion would be to make rooms with a view bookable at a higher price and have a guaranteed reservation for this room type.

This hotel had beautiful views and is within walking distance to the train station as well as many attractions. We will try and stay there on our next trip to Wurzburg!! The breakfast is fresh with plenty of options. They stored our bags for us after check out for a while so we could visit the residenz

I love this hotel. I had a fantastic view of the river. The room was clean with nice amenities;coffee, refrigerator soap, showed cap... The staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great location to explore the city, clean rooms, good breakfast. When we were locked out of our rooms, the owner promptly came to our assistance even though the staff had already gone home for the day. Amazing service indeed! 10/10 will recommend.

Ottima posizione, pulito, centralissimo, a pochi passi dal ponte più frequentato e dal centro; se vi danno la camera con vista sul fiume è il top, si ha una vista spettacolare anche sulla fortezza, ma pessima colazione, neppure un cornetto o una brioche: visto che si paga a parte consiglio di andare altrove; oltre che poco varia non è neppure ricostituita, tanto che all'arrivo alle 9 (con orario della colazione fino alle 10) erano rimasti 3 panini mezzi secchi e nessuno ha riempito nuovamente i cestini. Garage convenzionato a pochi passi, 16 euro per 24 ore.

Wir waren als Gruppe (14 Personen) vom 9.7. bis 12.7.2024 in diesem Hotel und waren restlos begeistert. Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Main und 100 m bis zur Marienkapelle und dem Marktplatz könnte nicht besser sein. Abends zum Absacker in die Biergärten am Mainufer (50 m vom Hotel), was will man mehr!!!?? Das ist ja schon wirklich toll aber die überaus freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter(innen) machten unsere Tage perfekt! Wenn man beim Frühstück schon mit einem bezaubernden Lächeln empfangen wird.....!! Besser geht's nicht! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne in dieses tolle Haus!! Danke an das Personal!!!!! Gruß Bernd Linke
