Desti Youth Park Hostel (Xi'an Bell Tower)

The hotel had the perfect location! Was close to everything! The only “bad thing” was the fact the room was next to the bathroom so we could hear every time someone coming in and out of the place (the doors noise).

They are literally beside train station and bell tower and very close to muslim street. The staff is helpful too. Great place to stay.

The hostel is located at the exact centre of the city, just next to the Bell Tower. There is a metro station one minute away, which makes commuting from the airport, train station and around the city very easy. I arrived before check-in time but was able to leave my luggage at the hostel and explore the neighbourhood freely while waiting. The staff was friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible even I was not fluent in Chinese. The rooms are very warm and the bed comfortable. You have privacy even in the shared rooms thanks to the curtains and the rooms and bathroom are cleaned everyday. You are given water bottles every day too, and a free water fountain is available in the common area. The coffee is good, I didn't try the food but looked also nice. There are plenty of restaurants nearby in the Muslim quarter. Overall, I had a great stay, I 100% recommend this hostel and will book again if I come back to Xi'an!

Definitely on the fancy side of hostels, but still affordable. Free wash detergent.about 5 yuan per wash. And also dryers available. Free shampoo hairdryer hot and cold water. Comfy bed with daily cleaning. 15 mins walk to muslim quarter. Plenty of halal food around, called Qing Zhen in mandarin 清真。did my solat prayers on the floor of the room, roomates were respectable while i prayed. Cafe on same floor. Very good staff team. 1 minute walk to train Zhonglou, exit C then use zhonglou underpass to exit 7. Plenty of cafes and convenience stores. The only odd thing was that there seem to be many non travellers, instead people who seem to be studying or working from the place, maybe its both a hostel and long term dorm? So dont be surprised if folks are not in the mood to have a cultural exchange.

The best place ive stayed in in china so far , super clean , super cozy , everything is well put together , everyone is nice , there’s a mini bar with a cute girl there you can get coffee or latte or some drinks in the evening , the place is 50 meters away from the subway but you won’t need the subway because everything is nearby . The shower and the wc are so clean and tidy. The staff were so nice and helpful they are also young so it great to have a chat with them , even tho im not chinese but i felt like i really belong there . It will be my go to stay from now on when i want to head to xian . I really recommend you to stay here , especially if you solo travel like me and you just want a place to get in the night and share some stories with some strangers

Stayed in the double room. Very nice and clean with a good shower. Really close to the bell tower and metro station. Staff was very friendly and some knew a bit of English, but all could communicate well with translator apps. My only critique would be to have more written down info in English for how to get to popular sites (ex. bicycle rental, train station, terracotta warriors, hua shan, goose pagoda) so that we wouldn't have to bother the staff with so many questions.

Near Zhonglou metro line 2, bell tower, great service nice staff , will come back again
