I stayed at your hotel in Hampton by Hilton Xiamen City Plaza,China in a multimedia room on October 2, 2023, with the hope of experiencing the high-quality service promised by the Hilton brand. However, I feel compelled to provide feedback on a series of issues I encountered during my stay, which seriously impacted my overall experience.
Firstly, I was struck by the lack of professionalism at the front desk. Upon check-in, there was no information provided about the hotel's facilities, and I was not informed about whether breakfast was included. It was only later that I discovered my room reservation included complimentary breakfast, but unfortunately, I had missed out on this amenity due to the lack of communication. This absence of information made my stay less enjoyable.
Even more frustrating was the significant odor and smoke in the room I was assigned to, which I found unbearable. To make matters worse, I discovered a cockroach in the room's bathroom, a hygiene issue that severely eroded my trust, especially considering this is a Hilton-affiliated hotel.
After I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk, they changed my room. However, the new room had extremely poor soundproofing, and I was disturbed throughout the night by the sound of children crying and activities from the adjacent room, making it very difficult for me to rest.
As a loyal Hilton customer, I am deeply disappointed by this stay. I expected to experience exceptional service and a comfortable accommodation environment at your hotel, but this experience fell far short of my expectations.
I hope that your hotel will take my complaint seriously and take appropriate steps to improve the service and maintain hygiene standards. I look forward to your response to understand how you plan to address these issues.
