The hotel is about 20 to 30 minutes by taxi from the airport, depending on the traffic condition. It is conveniently located next to a shopping mall with shops, supermarket, restaurants and food court. Hotel staff is friendly. Good spread of breakfast food.

Enjoyed a lovely stay cation with the family over Christmas. Hotel is clean, spacious and comfortable with just enough to do while still having time to relax.
Staff is friendly and efficient.
The Shopping mall is a 200m walk at most.
You can enjoy almost anything here.

The location is very good, near shopping mall and lake. The staff is helpful especially the housekeeper named Yee Yee who cleaned during staying.
However, there is a point that I dislike, the fragrance that the hotel used at the lobby, the smell is too strong. I would suggest to use mild fragrance that feel more relaxed and fresh.

The room is cleanest possible and has superb view, internet connection is smooth and quick, clerks are polite and attentive, breakfast is excellent and better than any other hotel in Yangon. Only one thing I didn't like is that the refridgerator is too small and already occupied with "mini bar" stuff, so I couldn't cool down the drinks I got from the nearby supermarket in Myanmar Plaza.

I have stayed here before so not much differences from the last stays. The location is convenient for me. Myanmar Plaza is right next to it so it's easy to grab things whenever you need.

I recently stayed at the Melia hotel for one day and had a pleasant experience. The staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's central location, which made it easy to explore the nearby attractions. Although my stay was short, I was able to take advantage of the on-site dining options, and the food was delicious. Overall, my brief stay at the Melia hotel left me with a positive impression, and I would consider returning in the future for a longer stay.
