This Villa is in the perfect spot - right next to Moon Hill and along the main road into Yangshuo. The staff are super helpful, willing to book and check any attractions, cars and scooters, and ensure you know exactly what is happening. The WeChat service was excellent as you could translate messages. They also used this to personalise the services on offer. There were daily reminders and announcements as to food and weather. One of the main reasons for booking this villa was the hot tubs - each room comes with your own, serviced, private 'bubble pool'. The bed was very comfortable an the room spacious. I HIGHLY recommend this Villa for your trip to the beautiful Yangshuo.

Had a lovely experience with Moon Villa this past week. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the AC was just as we liked it: cold. I love the peace and quiet of the hotel with its beautiful greenery as you walk to your room (with soothing music too lol). While it’s not located in town, west street and many other parts of town were usually about 10-15 minutes away by didi. And moon hill was a convenient 5-10 minute walk. The best part of Moon Villa though is by far its service. My friend and I were added into a wechat group which had all of the relevant staff and their work hours so we could contact for any support needed. On the first day, one of the staff members sent us a suggested itinerary for our 5-day stay since we hadn’t researched in advance what we wanted to do. We didn’t follow all of it but the suggestions gave us a better idea of what we could potentially do. They were very helpful in everything we needed, from booking cars and bikes for longer excursions to finding me 20RMB bills so I could use it for that stereotypical picture hahah. The prices also weren’t higher than what was being offered elsewhere, which was a plus. The restaurant food was pretty good, with local dishes from the region. Our breakfast every morning was also local, though they provided toast with jam and butter and coffee if you wanted it. I’m sure we could have requested the eggs be made a certain way if asked but we weren’t super picky about it. The only thing we would have loved to have is a more comfortable sitting area in the lobby with sofas or something for when we wanted to relax indoors. They already provided three different types of teas in the lobby so it would have been a perfect area to chill. However, the layout of the lobby consisted mostly of dining room tables so it wasn’t the best place to just sit and read a book after a day of hiking. That meant we usually opted for the pool area but sometimes it was a bit too hot to stay out for long. Overall though, a super pleasant stay. We enjoyed it a lot.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! We'd first and foremost like to thank the staff for making our trip so special, especially 朱朱，小戴 & 阿李were exceedingly helpful. From arranging transportation to far away locations, suggesting things to do & planning our day, to renting a scooter for us to get around town. Their service went above and beyond. The hotel/resort itself is very peaceful, the rooms spacious, clean, and modern (heated floors, towel heating and 'Japanese' toilets), and the main building is very pleasant to sit in as well. Breakfast is served in the morning, and throughout the day you can sample different fruit teas and drinks they make in house. There's a restaurant next door, from which you can order and the waiters will actually bring the dishes to the hotel for you! This hotel is highly, highly recommended! To make the stay even better, we suggest that the hotel buy some white win and keep it chilled. For some reason, there's virtually no white wine anywhere in Yang Shuo! Red wine in abudance though.

As the ancient saying goes, Guilin’s scenery tops those elsewhere, and Yangshuo landscape tops that of Guilin. It was not until I choose the place, Moon Villa, that I found it really worthy of going. The great views from hotel, the outstanding concierge service and the thoughtful tailor-made trip arrangement I gained at Moon Villa surpassed my wildest expectations and I never ever anticipated to love Moon Villa as much as I did. Once stayed with them, I was all in with their one-stop service and I couldn’t picture myself anywhere else if I revisit Yangshuo. From my personal angle alone, the meaning of travel is not how many photos you take but how many heartbeat moments you can remember. Because of Moon Villa’s team and their 24/7 service, I will remember everything without doubt! Goodbye doesn’t mean forever. If it did, we ought to be saying Badbye. Stay cool and KIT. Stayed at Moon Villa in June (off season) and had a delightful stay. The room was perfect, spacious and very clean. Bathroom also spotless (I had to share it with a huge spider for the last day, but it’s a countryside hotel, so that’s par for the course). Fresh fruit sent to my room every day. The set breakfast consisted of tea or coffee, very tasty noodles, egg, some sort of fritter or bread most mornings, optional toast, and other little bits and pieces - very tasty, although I could have wished for a little more variation. Swimming pool was clean and quite big, with a gorgeous view over the fields to the karsts. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making a wechat group to help coordinate activities like biking and hiking, taxi to Guilin airport etc etc. The hotel is just off the road heading out of Yangshuo, about a 10-15 minute cab ride into the West street area, so would be perfect for those who don’t want to stay right in the heart of the action with all the crowds and thumping techno music of the bars, but you will need to get transport to go lost places. Overall highly recommend this hotel.
