Holiday Inn Jilin Beidahu

Very convenient location, with access directly to the ski lift, rooms are very clean and staff is attentive. Amenities are lacking, no real apreski area for food, and convenient store is very minimum. Maybe a decent restaurant for the guests ?

This was a gem of a hotel. The staff were so incredibly helpful and treated us like family. We booked here for Chinese New Year to ski and didn’t know what to expect as neither of us speak much Chinese. It didn’t matter. Everyone tried to help us. I realize Holiday Inn is a big brand hotel, but it feels far more friendly than that and homely. The skiing was easy to organize. The hotel can help book ski and board hire and passes. The hotel is right next to the slopes - you can take a shuttle bus or walk 4 minutes. The skiing was also excellent - hard packed snow as you would expect, but the slopes are well laid out. The hotel restaurant was also good. Great breakfast and dinner was hot pot and buffet. Great trip - will be back!

Location Location Location Location. Beidahu is one of the best ski resort area in China. Holiday Inn Beidahu is right near the epicenter of the action. It does take a shuttle bus to get to the main ski center so it is not exactly a ski in, ski out type of hotel. However, it was surprisingly convenient! There are shuttle buses every few minutes and the journey only lasts also a few minutes ride as well. We did not feel inconvenienced at all, we were quite impressed actually at the frequency! The room we had was very spacious, modern and clean. Completely up to par by international standards. The reception staff was very accomodating and even helped to arrange our transportation to and from the hotel back to the train station. The breakfast is very impressive as well - lots to pick from. I have no complaints about the hotel, it was everything we asked for and at such good value! We recommend.

We stay in family room with 2 bedroom. It was clean and there is heater in the room and also the floor. Went there for ski, staff are friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn between Chris**as and New Year. My friends stayed in the Club Med down the road. Although I joined them for dinner at Club Med, I was genuinely very happy with my stay at Holiday Inn. The room was spacious with a good layout. It had central heating and underfloor heating (lovely after a day of skiing). The room was clean, and I appreciate that the staff offered to change the linen and towels daily, but only on request as they were conscious of the environment. The staff were friendly, but it was difficult with the language barrier as they spoke very limited English and I needed to translate everything. I was very happy with the breakfast at the hotel, as it had a range of good quality western and Asian dishes. I could easily fill up on this food and not eat again until dinner. If I had have been hungry, I could have visited the little snack shop in the lobby. Though the hotel is a short 5min walk away from the main ski service hall, there is a ski-in ski-out option from the hotel if you already have equipment. Alternatively, you can ride the free shuttle bus from the hotel to the service hall. The shuttle bus runs every 5-10mins until 10pm, which is very useful as you can also use it to go to dinner and back. Included in the hotel booking, was free entrance to the Japanese hot springs. This is close to the ski hall, so you can take the shuttle. It is wonderful and highly recommended for all ages, especially as it is technically part of the hotel’s stay!

Love Trip.com, and Holiday Inn in BeiDaHu is great, but I was wondering if the services offered to Chinese nationals can also be offered to foreigners, for instance being able to buy Ski Lifts thought the hotel. This service is only offer to Chinese nationals with a local ID Number, in addition is only offered in the app in Chinese. I went to Holiday Inn so i can ski in Beidahu, which is wonderful, but had to buy a ticket every day, go to lines, etc.... instead of having a 4 day ticket offered to Chinese id holders. Other than that Trip.com is great for PRC, Regards
