Stayed here last week October 23 Good check in with Mary and additional door key given when requested. Let’s start with the negatives and there are lots! Superior room but the bathroom is not superior it’s just a glass partition between that and the bed. The shower leaked into the toilet and that’s not nice when you need the toilet and the floor is flooded. Also as the toilet is only separated by a piece of glass you can imagine the smells! Shower head was broken water squirted everywhere other than on your body! It even made the floor wet by the bed. For 2 nights we had to have cold showers as there was no hot water Water pressure very low No lock on the main door….felt unsafe! Bed was broken with sharp corner which scratch mine and my husbands legs. Other family member in our party stayed in an additional room not near mine which was not good his main door would not shut unless slammed because the top hinge was completely rusted and the room smelt so bad he was eventually moved after 3 days. Restaurant food very much the same not much choice had to eat out twice. One morning no coffee all machines switched off water problem apparently. So why wasn’t there a kettle and coffee granules available. No beans one morning! Waitresses very rude and moody! Cleaners very rude and moody! Bar…..what can I say…..The barman had zero charisma and was unable to smile. Drinks served in plastic cups it was like being back at school! All inclusive and plastic cups what a joke. Bar shut at 11pm and I mean 11pm they made you feel very uncomfortable that you had to leave. The bar was in the restaurant no separate sitting area if you just wanted a drink on a comfy sofa! No sofas Pool bar not open till 11am so if you wanted a drink between 10 and 11 you couldn’t get one. Bar snacks were were very poor unless you just like chips. One day the pool bar and snacks did not open because of the weather. Yes it did storm but it clear and sunny by 1pm and they refused to open it! The following day pool bar open but still no snacks apart from nasty rolls in cling film! Wasps everywhere they need to find the wasps nest!! Birds in the restaurant several at a time! Positives Lovely Kalamaki beach nice restaurants on the *****! Mary on reception very helpful when we needed her help to sort out a problem and she also helped us with a hire car which was great to see the island. Would I return to Ecotica…Definitely No

my sister and i stayed in the hotel for 5 days, an “all inclusive” experience. When we arrived, the receptionist seemed rude and we were never shown around the hotel or were given an explanation of how everything goes, that made us not want to ask or annoy the staff as most of them didn’t come off approachable. It was never mentioned to us that the tourist tax was only in cash, which luckily we had but I consider it should be said as everything is in card nowadays. When we were given the card (just one card for two people) to access our room, the receptionist just pointed where our room was and we’re told to go there. I believe anyone who has payed a certain amount of money for an all inclusive experience should at least be shown or explain how the hotel works, what kind of activities it has, what it can offer us. When we saw our room, it was dirty, stains in the sink, finger prints in the glass of shower, balcony, mirrors, etc and some stains in the towels. There is a paper where it states everything you need to know about the room and charges, which in this case the AC and fridge were “free”, our AC never worked (we reported this with the receptionist and we’re told a technician would come to fix it, never happened) and the fridge was empty, wouldn’t expect to pay for an empty fridge, not even drinkable water was accessible. The wifi is a joke, doesn’t work at all. The card to enter your room allowed the room to have power/electricity, due that we were only given one, we couldn’t leave our electronics charging which was not convenient at all. Shower gel was filled half way, we had to go down and ask for more. The water pressure has no pressure at all, no hot water and water smells and tastes disgusting, so if you want a glass of water at 3am, you’ll have to go down to the restaurant and get yourself one. The food was basic, not a lot of options, so if you’re vegan, vegetarian or have allergies, don’t expect much from here. Most dishes were repeated every day/meal and there weren’t a lot of fruit options, only banana and apples which i can eat that in my country. The times to eat are very limited, so you have to keep and eye for it otherwise, no food for you. Also, they aren’t on time when putting the food on display and take the food earlier than what it states. The bar is nothing out of this world, it opens around 12 and close at 11pm, early in my opinion. All the drinks are served in plastic cups. Activities are basically putting on flashing coloured light in the restaurant and music. There is no public transport nearby at all, so you’ll have to rent a car or pay taxi to go to central. The cleaning is mediocre, they don’t change your bedsheets and only change your towels every two days, if you have any luck. They don’t give you a “do not disturb” sign, so you have to wait for the cleaning lady to knock on you door and say “no cleaning today”. The cleaning lady was nice though. We arrived at the hotel after the dinner had finished so we're given a food bag..which contained warm ham and cheese sandwiches, water and an apple... ecoli in a bag anyone? Sandwiches were binned immediately. Right from entering the building I knew we had made a mistake. The receptionist was rude, vanished for a while with no explanation then shoved forms in front of us..no explanation... another disappearance....waited 5 mins..she came back with 1 room key. Our room was basic... kettle but no tea or coffee... also in urgent need of some tlc..light fittings hanging precariously from ceiling, air conditioning clicking like some in room water torture device...and the mattress was so hard, a feather would have bounced off it. The food was, at best, edible, but repetitive and unexciting and the drink selection poor. The barman was a jobsworth, lacked any charisma or customer service skills and loved to play a power game. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this is by far the worst of them. It does not deserve 1 star, let alone 3. The meal times are restrictive...no breakfast before 8? Seriously..what about those who go out early...oh yes, you can preorder "cold" *ecoli anyone* sandwiches...always bloody ham too.... 1.5 hours for lunch and only 2 hours for dinner... overall very restrictive. Now let's talk about the entertainment.....very loud, very cheesy and very unwelcome. There is NOWHERE you can escape to in this entire hotel, if all you wish for, is a quiet drink ( assuming the barman deems you worthy of service of course). Some of us do not want to hear screechy singers, see people whirling around and listen to Eurotrash music after a busy day... all we want is a quiet area to enjoy a drink.... yeah but that's not happening here....probably because the barman deemed you unfit for service. Mind you, I feel he was following the company line...be jobsworth rude, do not offer explanations when you disappear and do not even dare to smile or offer a modicum of customer service. I am not a fussy person so generally go with the flow. Every trip I take, I go with zero expectations...and this hotel and its staff did not even meet those low expectations. It's a big fat no for this traveller and not a hotel I will be recommending to my beloved clients. 1/10 and that is only because the air conditioning worked.... also note to hotel..thank you so very much for leaving Patio door open on day 1, thus inviting all the mosquitoes currently residing in Zante into my room... my legs are doing a very good job of resembling a join the dots children's book...so actually,make that 0/10.

Do not be ****** in by the hotel photos on their website and even some on here that were taken years ago. We came as a family of 8 (7 adults and a 3-year-old) all all-inclusive 3-star (really, 3-star 🤔). The reception staff and a couple were helpful, but the tall black-haired lady didn't speak and just looked at you rudely. The cleaners were friendly and the waiting staff, Some were friendly and worked hard, but some just stood around talking to other staff or were on their phones and sometimes it took ages for them to finally clear the tables. The lone barman who had his agenda and was self-important would keep you waiting until he wanted to serve you and then just walk off so again you had to wait. The food was not brilliant and was very repetitive. Children had the choice of spaghetti, burnt fish fingers or dried chicken nuggets every day. There were only a couple of times that the meal choices were okay but was very rare (we ate out on a couple of occasions) as the food was so bad, I would highly recommend the restaurant down the road called Escape(now that is great food and so welcoming) breakfast was ok, but you needed to be there as soon as they started serving (8am). We had a superior room which you pay more for, don't bother, they are not superior because the toilet is open with just some glass panels so no privacy for when you did go to the toilet, it's very much open plan. The toilet and sinks smelt of sewage. Would I recommend this hotel, definitely not, book somewhere else, a couple who had stayed here on 4 occasions said it's the worse they had experienced. This is the worse holiday I have had.

Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely hotel..staff are wonderful and friendly,there is always a selection of foods for everyone,the pool area is always clean.the only thing is the drinks would be better from a pump than out of bottles as pple don’t always put the lid back on which was leaving the drinks flat!! The beach is only a 5/10 minute walk away it’s usually a lovely beach but this time around we couldn’t go in the sea due to a build up of sea**** etc this was probably due to the time of year and weather. Shops are also a 5 minute walk away,if you enjoy watching planes go the airport cafe where you can sit upstairs and watch them arrive and take off,lovely food drink and staff there also. This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and we will definitely be back.

The restaurant staff are fantastic , Brian , Amarildo and Maria were the 3 that really took the time and interacted with us ,made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The food was good and the place is clean . Room was a great size and loved the pool.

Very nice hotel, a few steps to the beach. Pleasant beach. The hotel was clean and well-kept. There are activities every evening, you won't be bored. Clean restaurant with delicious food. Everyone will find something for himself. The dishes can surprise you. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly. Special thanks to Bruna, who makes this hotel unique with her presence. Smiling and very helpful. Special thanks to her, we will definitely come back.
