Where to begin? Before arriving here on September 30 I was contacted personally by the General Manager, Narkis, asking me if I require a private transfer from the airport. I said yes as it’s my first holiday with my new partner and I wanted everything to be seamless. She emailed me back saying “ that’s all done for you”. We arrived at the airport around 2000 after a very long day, flying in from Newcastle and Bristol respectively. There was no transport. I called the hotel and they assured me that the driver was on site and “looking for us”. We were stood by the arrivals door??!!! This went on for over an hour when eventually someone turned up. They told me that no cab had been booked whatsoever. We arrived at the venue around 2145 and requested dinner. The restaurant is advertised as being open until 2330 with last orders at 2300. We were stood over by the restaurant staff and told that we had to have ALL our food brought out simultaneously; starters, mains and desserts as they were closing at 2300. The food arrived at 2245. Day 2. I sought out Narkis around 1030 and confronted her re the missing cab. Firstly, she denied any knowledge of booking it and our email conversation. When I produced her booking email she snapped yes yes I don’t need to see that and admitted that she’d forgotten to do it. Still, I had had to pay the 35 euros for the missing cab. We have not had a single meal in this place without a drama. It’s never correct and basically it’s worse than Fawlty Towers ‘Waldorf Salad’ sketch. Tonight is yet another case in point. We are so sick and tired of the abhorration that is Noya restaurant that we ordered room service at a 20% premium. Once again the order was wrong ( and freezing ). I called down and spoke to Micheal ( restaurant manager ) who apologised profusely and then sent the wrong thing again. It was out of desperation thst we used room service for a second time because the first time we used it, the staff marched in whilst my girlfriend was in a shower robe and took our half eaten food away without either knocking or asking. Before they took it, she had told them that we were not finished eating. No notice was taken whatsoever. I was actually in the toilet and my girlfriend as alone with two men in our room uninvited. We ordered a hire car for 1030 Friday, again through Narkis. It was 2 1/2 hours late. We lost a deposit we had placed for a lunch as we could not make the 1/2 hour tolerance window. We are so desperate to get out of here that we sent a full report to Luxury Escapes begging them to find us an alternative and it was summarily blocked by Narkis. Basically this place a shambles because there is no management guidance or leadership. Narkis and Micheal run their respective tenure like own little club. They never interact with the customers.
