Margarita Hotel - All Inclusive

From arrival to leaving myself and my wife had a FABULOUS time. The staff were lovely especially the lady on reception that greeted us every morning with a lovely smile. The food was lovely with lots of choice. As for the rooms in the superior part they were FANTASTIC. Always clean and smelling wonderful. When we return to Zante our first choice will be Margerita.Thank you VERY MUCH for making our relaxing holiday so special. XX Will miss the cats especially the ginger and white one xx

We booked this as a couple and while we have young children they did not come. There is limited entertainment other than the pool for kids. We think a lot of the mixed reviews are down to not having expectations managed for what is advertised as all-inclusive. I think if it was stated as full-board, it would be more accurate. The main thing to remember is this is what appears to be a small business or family owned company. It is not a massive chain with crazy millions coming in. We noticed a few odd things but first focusing on the positives: wonderful customer service. Treat people as you want to be treated and I think a lot of the comments of rudeness would not be on here. exceptionally clean. We had no issues other than one glass that was dirty and quickly replaced with an apology. The rooms, common areas, and pools are very tidy. get the upgrade if you can. the upgraded rooms for couples are worth it. comfier beds, nicer furnishings, and great views. very good food. The variety was a little unexpected but on the whole the food was a very high standard and the kitchen staff no doubt work hard. Always a sunbed available. We never struggled to get a sun lounger at any time of day. That was wonderfully refreshing. Vici The family pool bar guy is a blast and very friendly to everyone. If you try to do something silly like ask for 6 beers and you are on your own he will tell you off (and they were all for one person). The way I look at it is they want to keep everyone getting served and not get backed up by that one person who decides to request 2 hours of drinks in a single go. The bits if you know up front about are either making you not their target demographic or won't be a big deal. Not a party hotel. It is not for you if drinking is a professional sport and staying up late is what you are wanting to do. There are loads of places you can get that done this isn't one of them. You will be hard-pressed to get drunk on the beer. No pool towels. I brought mine but my partner didn't expecting that to be part of an all-inclusive. There is a shop in the hotel to buy one for 10-20 euro. No olives. We were a little surprised there were no olives. No margaritas. It is in the hotel name, so why there is no margarita option is odd. Entertainment is limited. The board does get updated. We weren't there for the entertainment though. Had we brought children then it would have been nice to see some sort of daytime or evening activities for them besides the pool and outdoor amenities. loo roll is not for the toilet. It is a country problem and not the hotel. This is what surprised me most. I understand it is because the sewage drains do not have enough size and get clogged. The messages are stern, and not put everywhere. If those signs explained why it is a problem a little better that would help people not feel like they are being told off. Once again we returned been going for over twenty years hotel is lovely and well maintained was in one of the newer rooms very spacious and comfortable. The staff and owners are as always very friendly and helpful the only fault is the bar closing at eleven just starting to enjoy my night then if I want to drink I either buy my own or go to a bar up the street otherwise holiday is fine will look next year if it changes

Have just returned from 10 night stay at this hotel and what a lovely time we had. All the staff were friendly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. We had a double room with a private pool and it was lovely to have that but we spent most of the time by the larger pool where the pool bar is. Our room was a lovely big room and very private and the housekeeping staff kept them exceptionally clean. I really enjoyed the food there was always a good selection and loved trying different dishes. My hubby and I will certainly be coming back to stay again.

Just back from a wonderfully relaxing holiday at The Margarita Hotel. Extremely welcoming, friendly staff who can’t do enough if asked. Everyone works so hard from front of house, to behind the scenes in the kitchen, bar staff, restaurant ladies etc. Shout out to Hope and Michael , who always kept our Margarita cocktails or pool beers topped up, Helen, who always had a smile on her face, and the elegant Margarita herself. The food was amazing, and we had no issues with anything. Everything is freshly cooked and so many lovely Greek dishes to choose from. Tony’s Moussaka is just the best I’ve ever tasted. After reading some of the other reviews, I’m wondering where they actually stayed, because we loved the Hotel. Our room was spacious, lovely big shower, and kept clean by the maids, with fresh towels daily. We stayed mainly around the Adult pool, which was very quiet, and nearly every time I swam, I had the pool to myself! Bliss!! Ate at the pool bar a few times, lovely freshly made Tuna sandwiches with a side of fries, washed down with a cold beer or wine. You could also have enjoyed burgers, hotdogs, or other choices of sandwiches. Evening entertainment was okay, we especially enjoyed the lady soloist whose voice was really good. Out and about, we ate at The Island restaurant, and the Taj Mahal, and had a few nights at Captain Morgan’s Bar for a change of scenery. We would definitely return in the future.

The food was incredible! Fresh, tasty and a lot of choice, t was cooked to perfection every meal time. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The rooms were outstanding. Everything was absolutely perfect. Such a quiet and gorgeous location. Everything in walking distance without the hustle and bustle.
