Shanjian Boutique Hotel

Excellent stay. Staff are extremely helpful and room was lovely and modern. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the East gate.

The hotel's service is exceptionally commendable and supportive, particularly for guests seeking guidance or assistance with purchasing tickets to the Avatar Mountains..

Would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit this national park!

An incredible stay thanks to Emma who helped plan our itinerary and buy our tickets at a discount for Zhangjiajie National Park and Tianmen Mountain. She messaged us in advance to talk about our options and pre booked our tickets to ensure we got the times we wanted. She is amazing and really made our trip! The hotel was in a great location walking distance from the bus station and East gate of the national park, also surrounded by restaurants. The room was big, clean and comfortable. There was also a washing machine and dryer so we could do our laundry. A fantastic stay, highly recommend!

Great facilities, and the staff is so kind and helpfull giving tips about all the city

The cleanliness of this property bears no resemblance to the photos online. It is old and dusty, and the bathroom was covered in mold, and it was nearly impossible to breathe inside because there was no ventilation system. The towel holder broke on our second day, and despite reporting it, no one ever came to fix it. There was also no daily cleaning or bed-making service. The room was so humid and moldy that on our last night, I actually discovered slugs on the floor. It was absolutely disgusting, and I couldn't go to sleep afterwards. The only redeeming qualities were the location and the receptionist, who was very helpful in explaining the mountain paths and selling us entrance tickets. However, a good location is not enough to justify living in such unsanitary conditions.

Nice hotel and cute staff, given me map for navigation in park. Room is clean, location is quiet and near with West gate (10 min by walk)
