Excellent location 10mins walk to the east entrance of the forest park. Hotel staff Xiao Xiao is top rate. Helped booked our tickets to the park, Grand Canyon, and Yellow Dragon Cave at better rates than online. Nearby restaurants and convenience stores.

Comfortable room and bath tub. The hotel is within walking distance of the national park and one of the evening shows in the area. Our hotel room was a little hot in the beginning, but the reception helped us turn on the central air conditioning. Breakfast could be more interesting, but overall the experience was good.

We had a great time staying at the Manyuan Hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They helped us buy tickets to the forest and other attractions at a slight discount. The rooms were clean, the showers nice and hot, the beds were soft. The breakfast was classic Chinese with a very nice wonton soup option. The only bad thing was the coffee ;). The view from the river side of the hotel was beautiful. The view from the backside is a just a close view of the hillside. The staff even showed us a shortcut trail to the national forest gate so we felt like we had exclusive access.

Very convenient place to stay if you want to go to the National Parks; it is walking distance to the East Gate. Staff are helpful and friendly, and breakfast is pretty good.

We arrived very early on the high speed train and the room wasn't ready but the lady at reception was nice enough to allow us to stay in another room for a few hours and rest before our room was ready (for 100 Yuan)! She also provided us with a route for how to explore Zhangjiajie given how little time we had there. The hotel is very close to one of the entrances to zhangjiajie( can walk over rock path over river). The room was very nice with the bath, would highly recommend! She also packed us some breakfast before we set off the next day!

hotel was really clean and comfortable, location is walkable distance (10 minutes) from zhang jia jie national park. however since its mountain area, there are some insects. comfortable and good place! breakfast was ok. washing machine was ok, but there is no dryer.

Beautiful hotel, definitely feel like it's a high end hotel. Toilet and towels is clean. Bed is soft and comfortable

Absolutely amazing hotel. Big room, clean room, furnitures and amenities are clean and in new condition and best of all the staff are super friendly and helpful. They helped us book taxi, entrance tickets for various attractions and gave us really helpful advice on how to navigate our trip around Zhangjiajie. The receptionist Xiao Xiao helped us to pre book entrances ticket before our trip and even manage to get senior citizen discount. The only downside is the limited variety for breakfast but that don’t matter. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to ZhangJiajie Wulingyuan.

Location: very near zhangjiajie entrance. Within walking distance. Few restaurant nearby and food is not bad.
We have booked room with view of river and mountain. Walking distance to watch meilixiangxi show.
Service: provide good advise to tour around Zhangjiajie. Able to buy ticket on your behalf to various activities at a discount.
They are also able to accomodate last min booking of tour guide.
Cleaniness: room is clean.
