The breakfast was a nice bonus, offering local specialties like 'Húlàtāng' (spicy soup). My only minor complaint is that the pillows weren't very comfortable for me personally. Overall, it's a great spot for a layover or a quick stop."

"Skvelý Excellent stay with amazing atmosphere, highly recommended! Room: Very spacious. Firm beds, great pillows, and duvets. Perfect for a good night's sleep. Hotel: Elegant interior design. Delicious and excellent breakfast choices. Location: Right next to the lake with a pedestrian zone. Great evening atmosphere with street singers. Staff: Highly professional, kind, and helpful. Great English speakers, used a translator when needed. Negative: Requested a non-smoking room, but it smelled like smoke despite the ”No Smoking” sign on the table. Overall a fantastic experience, I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!"

"I had an early flight the next morning, so I just booked a hotel randomly, and it turned out to be a real gem! We arrived at the airport around 8 PM. I called the hotel, and within five minutes, the driver called back saying he'd be there shortly. As we were on an international flight with a ton of luggage, a double crib, and two kids, Master Xiao went above and beyond, helping us with all the bags, keeping an eye on the children, and then driving us back to the hotel and even helping us take our luggage upstairs. The next morning, we had to rush for our 6:30 AM flight, and Master Xiao was there again, helping us get all the luggage downstairs. He repeated the whole process, and you could really feel his incredible work ethic and strength 👍. The hotel also offered warm white fungus soup, helped us combine beds, and installed bed rails. I honestly think their service is on par with Haidilao! My only regret is that we arrived and left in the dark, so I didn't even get to see what the hotel looked like. 😂"

"Our stay at the hotel was very satisfying. The staff were all very welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. In the lobby, there were complimentary snacks, fruits, beverages, and herbal teas. We could also borrow Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free, and they were quite clean. After use, the staff would wash them before putting them back. The location was also very convenient, close to shopping malls and local eateries. Highly recommended."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. It's easy to park if you're driving, and hailing a taxi is a breeze. Within a hundred meters of the hotel, you'll find the Erqi Plaza business district, including the Chamber of Commerce Building, MixC, Dennis David City, Dehua Pedestrian Street, and Asia Joy City… It’s great for shopping, strolling, and enjoying delicious food 👍. There are also many tasty food and drink options right downstairs from the hotel 😋😋😋. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with good blackout curtains and soundproofing, ensuring a worry-free night's sleep 👍. The smart room control was easy to operate, and I absolutely loved the magnetic induction chargers on both bedside tables and the desk 👍. The breakfast had a rich variety of options, and the noodles and wontons were absolutely delicious 😋. The 2 PM checkout was a very welcome bonus 🌹🌹🌹. Last night, I checked in and wasn't paying close attention, mistaking my room card for a charging card. This morning, I couldn't use the elevator to go to breakfast (it's great that you need to swipe your room card to select an elevator floor 👍). Luckily, another guest going to the same floor swiped their card 🤪. Then, when I went to the front desk, I gave them the wrong room number 🫣🫣🫣. The lovely lady at the front desk actively helped me reactivate a new card, and when I checked out, the ladies even gave me water and a fridge magnet 🥳🥳🥳. I'm so happy about this encounter 🌹🌹🌹. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit 😄."

"I've always had a soft spot for Accor Group's luxury brand, Sofitel, and my stay at Sofitel Zhengzhou this time certainly didn't disappoint. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was comfortable and reassuring, making it an excellent choice among Zhengzhou's high-end hotels. The hotel is located in the heart of the city center, offering convenient transportation. Shopping, sightseeing, and reaching major city attractions are all within a 10-15 minute distance, making getting around incredibly easy. The hotel's parking is all above ground, and there are plenty of spaces, accommodating self-drivers well. The hotel lobby, with its French-style decor, is elegant and grand. The high ceilings provide a bright and airy feel, with exquisite details showcasing a refined taste, exuding an air of luxury and ambiance. The lobby area features several Spring Festival activity booths where children can participate in small activities like making fans and red envelopes, calligraphy, and dyeing. Check-in was efficient and quick, and the front desk staff were warm and courteous. Jasmine Wu provided professional and thoughtful service; she pre-assigned our room and even prepared children's dental kits and slippers, making us feel right at home. The hotel's room service was prompt, and staff members always greeted guests proactively. This truly reflects the quality expected of a high-end hotel. The room itself was spacious and well-laid out, with excellent natural light and soundproofing. It was clean and tidy overall, with a noticeable sense of quality. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Toiletries and body lotion were standard branded products, offering superior texture and peace of mind when using them. It's great that the hotel's pool and gym remained open during the Spring Festival – highly commendable! The dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, including local specialties like Hu La Tang (spicy soup), noodles, and wontons, as well as Western options like cheese and coffee. The food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, and the presentation was meticulous, perfectly satisfying various taste preferences. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor serves Cantonese and Xinyang cuisine. The roasted pigeon, braised beef offal, dried tofu with pork leg, and fish head were all authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced, with excellent service and ambiance. We stayed for two nights and had three meals there without getting bored. I will definitely choose Sofitel again on my next visit to Zhengzhou!"

"Facilities: The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are quite complete. The room isn't big, but it's basically enough for two people. Hygiene: Overall good, quite clean. Environment: The hotel's location is practically unbeatable. It's located within the Erqi Square pedestrian street, and you can take photos of the Erqi Memorial Tower directly from your room. Right outside the door is the flagship store of Mixue Ice Cream & Tea. Service: The hotel service is good. Breakfast is at the revolving restaurant on the 28th floor. The breakfast items are pretty standard, nothing amazing, but the view and ambiance from the top floor are truly excellent. Parking is convenient, with about 3 levels of parking garage. However, the turns inside are not very wide, and there's some haphazard parking, so you need to be careful. If you're driving, be aware that the small roads around this hotel can be a bit difficult to navigate."

I purchased a package that included a complimentary double seafood buffet dinner, which offered excellent value for money and high-quality food. Thumbs up! The hotel's service and hygiene were also quite good. Staff proactively helped with luggage and greeted us upon entry and exit. We also received a free room upgrade, and the welcome fruit was very generous! If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the quality of the toothbrushes and combs. For double rooms, it would be best to have toothbrushes in two different colors. Overall, I was very satisfied with my three-day stay and will choose this hotel again next time. 😊"
