Well located hotel just 2-3 mins walk from Pitlochary Station exit to hotel back gate 👍🏻. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in providing/recommend places of interests. Breakfast is a must have, pretty good with traditional dining area.  Room are clean, well maintained and spacious (room facing Garden). The Dam and Fish Ladder is just 20mins walk from the hotel. Hotel service is good, the restaurant owner is very kind, the service is very good, quiet, price concessions, suitable for leisure travel, the surrounding environment is beautiful. Next time I will stay again, friends who like leisure can choose this hotel.

What a lovely weekend stay at this most characterful resort hotel. A great vibe among the team leading to a friendly, professional and courteous guest experience from arrival and check-in, to dining, evening of drinks around the real fire and a beautiful breakfast following a comfortable restful night in a clean room and lovely freshen up shower in the morning. The room is large, the bed is comfortable, the layout is warm, the restaurant downstairs is very delicious.

Room was great, bathroom was just okay. Breakfast was almost an ordeal. For the price we would give it 4 out of 5 but it was like having breakfast on a round about, bathroom was tired, the low point of the room.

Super friendly staff dinner was wonderful in tye dining room. Would definitely recommend.

The service is very good! Come to play with friends, the hotel is located on the mountainside, the scenery is beautiful, the hotel itself is very beautiful, with a sense of age! Special breakfast must be eaten! You can customize your breakfast recipes! The small garden is very beautiful. The front desk service of the hotel is intimate and can help to make an appointment for taxi. l

This venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

We enjoyed are stay at Mercure in Perth It was central, yet quiet. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We also liked the hotel bar, a nice cosy atmosphere. We would definitely stay there again.
