"The hotel was nice, but when I made the reservation, I specifically asked for a room away from the elevator, yet they assigned me one right in front of it, which was noisy in the morning. I checked in later than planned so I just used the room, but it was annoying that my request wasn't honored. I booked the hot spring + spa package, but the spa water was too cold, so I didn't even use it after paying. The germanium hot spring water was great, though. I'd only recommend the spa for families with children."

"This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from Hanok Village. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout my stay, from the front desk to the restaurant. A special thank you to Kim Shan Bin for the attentive and thoughtful service—it made the experience even better."

"Double room with one double bed. The interior was smaller than I expected. The TV's placement next to the bed was inconvenient. The hairdryer was tiny (women with long hair would find it even more inconvenient). The bidet was broken. The air conditioning could only be used according to the manual. Aside from the experience of staying in a Hanok hotel, there weren't many other advantages."

"As with most Japan and Korea accommodations, they are very strict about the 3pm check-in so don't expect any pity even if you've just traveled 14 hours non-stop to arrive here. 15-to-20-min walk to Gyeonggijeon shrine entrance. Drop your luggage off and go exploring till they are ready to accept you. In terms of room amenities, you'll be charged KRW 1,000 per toothbrush/toothpaste set that you use, so, bring your own. Other than that, the room is clean and so are the towels. No wardrobe and only 1 hanger. Am just managing your expectations even though this belongs to the Shilla brand."

"This is the accommodation that my parents booked because they were going to Nogodan. They said it was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly, so it was nice. They said the breakfast was Western-style, but it was okay, and asked me to book it again if I go there again. There are no photos of the accommodation~^^"

"I got two twin bed rooms. There are three of us including a friend. I think it is a good value for money accommodation. If you call the taxi number in front of the hotel front desk, it will come right away and you will arrive downtown in 5 minutes."

"I made a reservation for my parents as they were going on a trip, and they said the location was good, the facilities were clean, and everything was great! Most of the staff were friendly; my parents mentioned that when they went for breakfast, one female staff member even greeted them and wished them a delicious meal, which they said was wonderful. However, the service from one male staff member was quite disappointing. He appeared to be in his 40s, and even during check-in, when they gave the reservation name and tried to check in, it seemed like the male staff member couldn't find the name properly. The male staff member asked them, ”There are multiple branches; are you sure you booked this one?” My parents confirmed that they had definitely booked the Deokjin branch, but he kept repeating that there were multiple branches and acted as if he was frustrated. Aside from that, when I heard about the way they handled the service, I got the impression that their tone of voice and non-verbal behavior were inconsiderate or made them feel frustrated with the customer. When I made the reservation, Hound Hotel had good reviews and looked clean, so I hoped my parents would enjoy their trip even more. However, I was a bit upset to see them feel hurt because of that one staff member. I am leaving this review because I believe Hound Hotel's reputation would improve if just that one employee could improve their service to be like the others! I hope the Hound Hotel improves on the areas that were a bit lacking and continues to prosper~😊"

"Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. The interior decor and amenities were all as well-equipped as shown in the pictures. The meticulous attention to detail was impressive, with items like an LP player, a tea set, and a Dyson hairdryer, each coming with a QR code for a tutorial. Every single item of decor was beautiful, making it a delightful place to stay. We also ordered the rooftop glamping and BBQ set. It was easy to book via phone and pay upon arrival. The price was 40,000 won for two people for glamping (4 hours use) and 40,000 won for the BBQ set, totaling 80,000 won. This was a reasonable price, considering we'd spend more if we ate out for dinner. The set included one serving of samgyeopsal (pork belly), one serving of moksal (pork neck), one tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patty - or similar), one ramen, a sauce set, chili/garlic, six marshmallows, and a pack of Charm Crackers. We could cook the meat deliciously on an induction grill dedicated to grilling. For drinks, they provided camping wine glasses and an electric opener, so we could bring our own alcohol. We could rent hanbok (Korean traditional attire) at the lobby, but it could only be worn inside the building. All hanboks were one-size-fits-all, and the men's sizes seemed to be around 95-100 (US M/L). Even though it was a free hanbok rental, the colors and quality were better than those rented in Hanok Village. The staff were also very kind and helpful with all our inquiries. The location, being in a motel district, was a bit of a downside, but thanks to that, we were able to enjoy all these amenities at a great value for money."

"The guesthouse is right in Hanok Village, so all the popular spots are nearby. The room was super clean and tidy, even came with a Dyson hairdryer and a projector. The underfloor heating was fantastic! The bathroom wasn't just clean, it was spacious with a great wet/dry separation, and they even provided toothbrushes. The host was incredibly friendly and even gave us some PNB Hanok Village chocolate pies as a souvenir when we left. We had such a lovely time staying here! Thanks for everything!"
