"We recently stayed at Taj Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru to celebrate my mother's birthday. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and there were several things the hotel did well. The check-in process was smooth, the reception staff were courteous, and we genuinely appreciated the effort the team put into decorating the room with balloons and a cake for my mother's birthday and upgrading us to a higher floor. That thoughtful gesture made the celebration special. However, what stood out was that many of the small details expected from a luxury brand like Taj were missing. Luxury hospitality is often defined by consistency in the little things. While walking through the corridors, several staff members passed by without even a smile or a simple greeting. It may seem minor, but these small interactions are what create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. At other luxury hotels such as Oberoi or St. Regis, the staff consistently make you feel like a valued guest throughout your stay. Unfortunately, we didn't get that feeling here. There were also several oversights with the room setup. The room was booked for three guests, yet only two pairs of slippers, two toothbrushes, and one bathrobe were provided. We had to call housekeeping for additional amenities. Again, it's a small detail, but these are the small things that guests naturally expect at this level of hospitality. The Locker rooms just had towels with no bath robes and slippers. Clearly it's cost cutting and any experienced traveller would feel that. Breakfast was not up to the mark as well. I usually start my morning with soup, which is commonly available at many luxury hotel breakfast buffets. When I politely asked if soup was available, the response was simply, ”We don't serve soup here,” rather than offering a warm or helpful alternative. None of these issues individually ruined our stay. In fact, the birthday arrangement and reception experience were genuinely appreciated. But when you're staying at a property carrying the Taj name, it's the attention to detail that makes the experience exceptional. Those details were unfortunately missing throughout our stay. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because the foundation is clearly there. With better attention to small touches and more consistent guest interaction from the staff, the overall experience would better reflect the luxury reputation that Taj is known for."

"Its good to stay hotel. Good rooms comfortable bed and bathroom. The room equipment like tv, kettle are not great but its doesn’t matter much to me for overnight stay. Breakfast was good."

"This hotel is within airport. You can walk from T1. But with luggage hotel shuttle will be useful. About 500 rupees. You will love the variety of Indian breakfasr."

"It was really good experience. From the beginning to the end. The stuff is really great, very helpful and kind. I truly want to say thank you for this stay ! Clean , comfortable, quiet. The food was good. We were welcomed and they allowed us to check out later. Also , we experienced earth hour which was pretty special. ❤️"

"The amenities are really good. I have been visiting here multiple times. From room service, cleanliness, breakfast to amenities, everything is top notch."

"The hotel is relatively new and the overall environment is ok. But the waiter, really have to train well, check out for more than 40 minutes, not to print the wrong date is to mistype the company name, the tax number said to be added and did not add, keep making mistakes. The speech is also very rude."

"Room was very spacious, clean bathroom, buffet breakfast was good. Indoor games room was nice with carrom, chess, board games, table tennis & snooker. Swimming Pool was big ( didn’t use it ). Reception was friendly to handle luggages during check in and check out."

"It was difficult to understand what staff were saying. They always seemed impatient even when they were trying to help. It seemed like our room was not what we booked but we did not raise it with staff as it was difficult to communicate in English. Overall poor service and there are better options"

"I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location was quite good and convenient, my overall experience was not as satisfying as I expected for the price I paid. The room itself was decent, but the cleanliness was disappointing. The washroom was not well-maintained and felt quite dirty, which was a major drawback. Additionally, the floor in the room was not properly cleaned, making the stay less comfortable. For the price, I expected better hygiene and maintenance. If cleanliness is a priority, I would recommend looking for other options."
