Although their English isn't great, they are very friendly. If you speak English too fast, the staff might not understand you, so it's recommended to use a simple translator to translate it into Japanese and show them the screen. ✅ Check-in is at 2 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. If you want to check out before 2 PM, it costs an extra $1000 yen per hour. ✅ The hotel reminds guests to close the bathroom door when showering to prevent steam from affecting the smoke detector and igniting the fire extinguisher. ✅ The room rate is really cheap. I saw it on Ctrip. The room is 29 square meters. My room cost $79.19 and $91.20 per night. I once booked a room for less than $72 per night, but I canceled it. ✅ Overall, everything was great. The location is great, and the price is exceptionally high, except the pillows aren't very comfortable. 💠There aren't many places to visit in Matsue, so I recommend staying near the station. Even if you don't know how to use public transportation, you can take a bus from the station and back. It's really difficult to hail a taxi on the street. Uber exists, but you can never get one. In the sweltering 35-degree Celsius midday heat, it's unbearably hot! 😭 💠Staying in Matsue allows you to visit Izumo Taisha Shrine, the Adachi Museum of Art in Shimane, and even Yonago and Tottori."

"Very warm hotel, the traffic from JR Yuzao Hot Spring Station to the hotel is a bit inconvenient, but every time you make an appointment with the hotel in advance, you can send a car to pick up and drop off, the service is very thoughtful. The surrounding environment is good, if it is not too hot, I really want to go to the beach to see. "This Showa-era business hotel is right outside Matsue Station's South Exit. The lobby is sunken, which might be a bit inconvenient for those with heavy luggage. The room facilities are quite old, there's no outlet by the bed, and power is activated by an old-fashioned key card system (or rather, a key). The large public bath on the top floor wasn't open, and the elevator is also very small. When you go out, you need to hand your key to the front desk, and when you return, you show a card with your room number to retrieve your key and meal voucher. They offer free breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet with limited options, and for dinner, you can choose between a curry set meal or a daily Japanese-style set. All in all, for just over 200 a night, including breakfast and dinner, what more could you ask for? If it doesn't mind my budget, I won't mind its age."

"very nice! There is a Family Mart nearby and it is a short walk to Izumo Taisha Shrine and the Izumo Historical Museum! The receptionist was very nice. Dinner and breakfast were all buffets. They were delicious. The hot springs were very comfortable. However, there were too many people and I didn’t have the chance to soak in a private hot spring. There were also free ramen and kimono rentals. It was a good choice to go to Izumo Taisha Shrine~ It’s close to the Izumo tram station. It’s a little far away from the main shrine but the road is quite easy to walk!"

"Suitenkaku was our first stay in a Ryokan. Those who want to visit Tottori, Izumo and Sakaiminato will find Matsue well located, while the Ryokan is next door to the Ichibata railway deserving the Izumo Taisha. The room was renovated and very spacious, offering a direct view to the lake. Above all, the staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. Real Omotenashi ! We are fully satisfied with our stay. Will repeat for our next stay in the area."

"Old and famous ryokan in town, with old and very nice Japanese garden with its own history. This hotel provide a very large outdoor public hot bath pond which both men and women could use together. Nearby the hotel is a drainage canal with cherry blossom trees along both sides made a wonderful view."
