"You can access the hotel by local taxi, but it takes a little time. Each room is independent, so privacy is guaranteed. The pool attached to the room offers a beautiful night view, and the atmosphere is great, combined with the lava decorations unique to volcanic islands. The toilets and showers can be used normally, and there is hot water. The service of the staff was impeccable, and they were always polite when called. "We enjoyed our stay in Unwnd. It is just a few meters from the white island station. You can even see the island at while sitting the sundeck. We also did not have any problem finding places to eat. There is a bbq near the are selling grilled fresh tuna at very affordable price. There is another resto where there is a live singer. But, you could also eat at Unwnd, their resto Mamser serves good food and has a very nice beach ambiance. i like the fish decor and the logo saying ”the art of being chill”. The place is really a good spot to chill. We did swim at the pool, though small, water was warm and refreshing at the same time. We also enjoyed watching the sunset by the breakwaters. We had our room on the second floor with a balcony. The room is clean and comfy. I love the art works displayed all over the place. The foosball and the chess set is an plus. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The only thing I wish that they have is a beach I can walk on."

"The property is undeniably beautiful, and we received a warm and welcoming arrival. Unfortunately, our first night’s room service dinner was not edible, which was disappointing, so we chose not to risk dining in again and ate out for the remainder of our stay. The pool did not appear clean, so we opted not to swim, which was unfortunate, although the grounds themselves were absolutely breathtaking. The room was stunning; however, the hotel was quite noisy, with very loud ambient music, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep each evening. Overall, the hospitality was excellent, and the staff were genuinely lovely. Recommend Nouveau but not highly."

"We had 3 pleasant nights there. It is quiet and you only hear the waves and the wind. The houses are in Bamboo and we slept very well. The staff is very accomodating, very professional and speak a very good english. They really make sure that you enjoy your stay, and in case of issue with some planned activities (For example if the sea become too dangerous), then they offer immediately other activities to compensate. We will definitely come back"

Very clean rooms; filling breakfast; very thoughful message during breakfast. I only had a problem with parking space; they can house 6 cars but if you park last, you may be called to move in order for others to move their car. Otherwise, I recommend 10/10!

Staying at Kokomo made our trip to Camiguin so much better! Irene the owner and her partner David are wonderful hosts. They made our stay smooth by assisting with scooter hiring, booking tours, giving tips about what to do in the island and much much more. The room size is very good, shower is hot, aircon was working perfectly (the room was cool after 5 minutes) and the bed mattress is very comfortable! We also had hangers outside to dry our dive gear and wet clothes. The pool area and gardens are very beautiful and well maintained, the staff were always tidying up the place and cleaning. The dive shop at the resort is super good with clean and new looking equipment. The dive guides we had were super attentive and friendly, we had a lot of fun! The reef in front of the hotel is very good for snorkeling. The resort has a very peaceful vibe, Irene and David made us feel like we were home! We stayed for seven nights and at the end I didn’t want to leave haha I would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding the service I experienced at the front desk. The male staff member was not attentive at all; when I asked him to ensure that my extension was updated, he assured me he would take care of it. However, around 12 noon the next day, I received a call on my mobile from the front desk while I was in a meeting, inquiring if I would be extending my stay. Additionally, I noticed that during the night, the front desk staff appeared disengaged, busy playing on their phones while I was providing instructions. This level of service does not meet my expectations, and I hope improvements can be made to ensure better attentiveness and professionalism. GUEST FIRST!

The air conditioning is terrible; it's way too hot. The internet is decent, and there's plenty of hot water. They really need to fix that broken AC unit. Being next to SM (mall) is convenient. The downstairs restaurant is okay, and there's a durian seller across the street. For anyone choosing a room, definitely check if the AC works first.

The hotel itself as a lot of potential. Right on the beach, with a nice terrace and in a quiet location not far from a few restaurants. However, it is very old and would need a full renovation. The rooms are spacious but the amenities are old. The headboard of our bed was full of termites and we could hear them behind us while we were sleeping. Therefore, the whole room was also full of flying termites. It was overall not that clean either. We stayed there for 4 nights and they never came to clean the room, not even the bathroom’s bin. On the last day, the bathroom started smelling like mold. The smell was very strong and we couldn’t do anything to change that. Also, on our last day, we were supposed to leave at 3:30am to go take our 4:30am ferry, the reception having organized a pick-up for us. However, we were woken up by the reception at 2:15am saying our pick-up was already here. The pick-up told us when we were telling him that we were supposed to leave at 3:30am to take the ferry at 4:30 that this ferry didn’t exist and we had to leave now, which we ended up doing. At the pier, when we saw that the 4:30am ferry actually existed, we texted the guy from the pick-up and this time he said that the hotel’s reception had told him to come pick us up at 2:15am. Anyways, I don’t know where was the problem and misunderstanding, but it was not the best way to start our day… To sum up, very mixed feelings about this hotel.

Overall, the hotel was pretty good for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had hot water, which was nice. The room had no window, but it was okay for a short stay. It was a bit funny that the door didn’t really close properly, but honestly it didn’t bother me much. In general, a decent place to stay in Cagayan de Oro. Sa pangkalahatan, okay naman ang hotel para sa presyo nito. Mabait at matulungin ang staff, at may mainit na tubig ang kuwarto na malaking plus. Wala lang bintana ang kuwarto, pero ayos lang para sa maikling pananatili. Medyo nakakatawa lang na hindi masyadong nagsasara nang maayos ang pinto, pero hindi naman ito naging malaking problema para sa akin. Sa kabuuan, maayos naman itong matuluyan sa Cagayan de Oro.

Our quick stay was nice. The pool was spectacular! We enjoyed it so much! Our room was okay. We were initially offered with a bigger room as there were 5 of us but we chose to stay in the 4 person cabana as we found the bigger room stuffy and the toilet was sunken. The receptionist was very nice and quick to respond to this request. Our cabana was fine but the hotel could look into ”child proofing” the room as the double deck corners are a bit dangerous. We had to wrap the corners with bath towels. The sliding doors of the toilet and shower room could also do a little maintaining as they were already rusty. We loved the garden and surrounding area. It was so serene and gave us a very relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for morning coffee. The chicken bbq we had for dinner by the pool area was very tasty. Our breakfast was okay. The location is good. It's not too far from the airport and walkable distance to the White Beach Port (around 30 mins) and restaurants. There's also a scooter renting place in front of the hotel entrance. The staff were very warm and helpful. They allowed us to store luggage in the reception area upon checkout while we went to the White Beach and wait for pick up. Kudos to Benj and Grace for their top-notch hospitality and honesty! We highly recommend this for a budget friendly stay.
