"The hotel was located in a quiet area. Check-in took a little while. There was a Japanese staff member at the front desk, which made communication easy. As a Japanese person, having a bathtub in the room was a great plus. It took a little time for the hot water to come out. Two bottles of mineral water were provided per night. Other beverages in the room's mini-bar were chargeable. Breakfast was quite substantial. Dinner was also available at the hotel's restaurant. ALEYNA, who worked at the restaurant on the lobby floor, was charming, had a lovely smile, and provided very friendly service. I was asked to write a review, and after posting it on the same day, I found a thank-you note tucked under my door the next morning. There was also a Turkish tea service in the lobby. It was a very pleasant stay."

"My friend booked a cave suite, and I opted for a panoramic room for the window, even though it wasn't a suite and was 100 lira more expensive per night than the cave suite. I felt the cave suite, despite having no window, was actually bigger. The breakfast spread had a lot of items, but only a few were edible; mostly appetizers and dips. For lunch, I ordered ravioli at the restaurant – absolute disaster! It was so bad I spat it out after one bite because the pasta tasted undercooked. I reported it to the front desk manager, and they waived the charge, which was about 50-60 lira. I originally wanted the hotel to book a Turkish Night show for me, but they only accepted cash. After checking online, I found the restaurant they booked for it had terrible reviews, so I canceled. The welcome fruit, which I redeemed with 1 point, wasn't delivered. After I contacted customer service, they sent a replacement of fruit, snacks, and drinks. Later, they also provided sunset drinks. The hotel's attitude was very good and generous about this. I heard the manager is Chinese, and they seem to understand Chinese business practices well. The room itself was fine, but the location felt less convenient than staying right in Göreme town."

"I spent two days in Cappadocia, and Maiya Hotel was my favorite among all the places I stayed – excellent value for money. It's basically at the very top of the town, and you can walk to the castle in just a few minutes. From a geographical perspective, it feels much more grounded and authentic than Göreme. We checked in on the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the hotel faces the entire mountain range, making it a perfect spot to watch the moon and the sunset. I was initially worried about the dampness in cave hotels, but the room I stayed in received sunlight all day, keeping it very warm and airy. Plus, their beds are quite large. The bedroom I booked had two double beds, and I finally got a good night's sleep, shaking off my jet lag. The breakfast was also very good; the flatbreads changed daily, and the main dishes were stomach-friendly. You could also order fried eggs and other items. The hotel owner can book hot air balloon rides for you. He mentioned that prices are quoted closer to the flight date because he knows which pilots are skilled and which offer the best value, so he advised us to trust his judgment. Our car got scratched by a tree branch on the way to the valley, and the owner found someone to help us fix it – we were truly grateful. Additionally, there's a highly recommended, value-for-money restaurant next to the hotel. It's discreetly located and not expensive; I've forgotten its full name, but it starts with 'il'."

"Хороший отель, удобно расположен, формат завтраков - турецкий завтрак. В номере чисто. Единственный нюанс, что на сайте по описанию мы бронировали один номер (делюкс), который должен был быть больше и с окном, а по факту дали номер меньше и без окон, но так как мы приехали вечером уставшие, сил разбираться не было, и другие плюсы отеля перекрыли этот нюанс."

"A 4 out of 5 hotel. You definitely shouldn't choose it for the pool, as private kids' swimming lessons are constantly held there, so you won't be able to swim freely. The spa is just a name—the hammam didn't work at all, the benches in the steam room were cool, and the sauna temperature didn't exceed 70 degrees Celsius. Breakfasts are repetitive, with sausages and salami being the only meat options. Room cleaning could be better. Foreigners can only connect to the Wi-Fi at the front desk. This is not 5 stars."

"We decided to go to Cappadocia from Kyzylgach (~500 km) to watch the launch of balloons. We chose this hotel on Trip Advisor because the price per night suited us, and it was conveniently located (not far from the entrance and the center). The hotel is small, there is a parking space. It seemed to me that locals mostly stay there. The room is clean, everything is there. The staff does not speak Russian, they try to speak English, but it is almost impossible to understand🤦. But these are trifles, since they met and accommodated us without any problems. The price includes breakfast - a buffet. Also, no frills, but delicious, you will definitely not go hungry. In addition, there are 100500 cafes 100 meters from the hotel. In general, for a one-two-day overnight stay, it is very good."

Our stay at Sacred House was absolutely wonderful! A big thank you to the hotel manager, who was incredibly kind and patient, and actively went out of their way to help us. We also appreciate the warm-hearted staff who assisted us with our luggage, thoughtfully offering to help carry it. You can really feel the genuine and thoughtful service from the staff everywhere, with heartwarming attention to detail. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, making it a highly recommended place to stay in Göreme. Our visit was incredibly comfortable and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Considering it is a 3-star property, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. I requested for a cave room with a window, which was definitely the right choice—it made the space feel much fresher and ensured great ventilation, so it didn't feel damp or stuffy at all. The layout and style were truly unique and interesting. Also, the croissants at breakfast were absolutely delicious! However, the facilities are quite dated. The biggest issue was the water supply: it was very difficult to adjust the temperature for both the taps and the shower. The hot water was inconsistent, and we often had to wait for a very long time before it finally heated up enough to use comfortably. On the service side, the regular staff members were absolutely lovely—friendly, helpful, and always polite. Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by the manager. During our stay, we had an issue with our luggage and asked the hotel for assistance. Instead of helping or showing any willingness to resolve the problem, the manager was uncooperative and rude. He provided misleading information and told us to call the police but threatened us that if is not the hotel's fault, he will sue us instead, what's worse is that he threatened we would not be able to leave Cappadocia due to the investigation. This was extremely unprofessional, intimidating, and unacceptable behavior for someone in a management position. In short, the room and location are okay for the price, but be prepared for inconsistent hot water and, more worryingly, very poor and threatening behavior from the male manager if you ever need help.

The hotel was located in a quiet area. Check-in took a little while. There was a Japanese staff member at the front desk, which made communication easy. As a Japanese person, having a bathtub in the room was a great plus. It took a little time for the hot water to come out. Two bottles of mineral water were provided per night. Other beverages in the room's mini-bar were chargeable. Breakfast was quite substantial. Dinner was also available at the hotel's restaurant. ALEYNA, who worked at the restaurant on the lobby floor, was charming, had a lovely smile, and provided very friendly service. I was asked to write a review, and after posting it on the same day, I found a thank-you note tucked under my door the next morning. There was also a Turkish tea service in the lobby. It was a very pleasant stay.

One of the best travel experiences by staying at Ennar Cave Hotel. The cave setting was amazing and very comfortable. Excellent hospitality, and I can not emphasise enough how good the service was. Always available for a request or query, highly recommended for anyone wanting to plan a trip to Cappadocia.

This is a truly wonderful hotel 🏨. While it's located a bit high up, making access to Göreme town center a bit challenging, the views are absolutely stunning, making it well worth the effort! The breakfast buffet offers a wide array of Turkish dishes, and you can also order menemen, omelets, and scrambled eggs. In the mornings, the terrace is open to guests to watch and photograph the hot air balloons. Besides the terrace in front of the reception, there's another spot where you can calmly enjoy the balloons and take photos. Coffee and tea are available at the reception area. The photo opportunities can get crowded, but if you find the queue isn't moving, the staff managing it are helpful in ensuring a smooth flow for taking pictures. The room was comfortable; I stayed in a family suite this time. It was well-equipped with amenities like a kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator, allowing for a very relaxing stay. The bathtub in the room was also excellent! The only minor drawback is that due to the cave-like nature of the room, mobile phone signals were nonexistent, and the hotel's Wi-Fi was very weak, requiring me to leave the room to use the internet.

This is truly a magnificent hotel with a quality of services at the highest level. You absolutely have to visit the spa and enjoy the golden fingers of the masseuses (Tarima Kasim!) who offer all types of massages at a reasonable price for this type of establishment. The indoor pool is sumptuous and there is also an outdoor pool and a shaded garden where it is possible to quench your thirst or have a meal. Our suite was very well equipped, vaulted in stone, with a jacuzzi and a very spacious bathroom. The bedding is very comfortable, the wifi fast, the television large with many channels and connectable with android. The air conditioning could be more efficient but is nevertheless sufficient. Above all, the large window overlooks a hill where you can have fun observing for a long time the old local troglodyte dwellings which are magnificently lit at sunrise. There is no shortage of activities and the hotel offers a wide range, from hot air balloon rides to quad biking and horse riding, always with an appreciable level of very high-end service. The breakfast is truly wonderful with a live demonstration of how to make delicious local pancakes made by a young girl (whose seat could perhaps be made more comfortable?). Fresh orange juice, many local cheeses and dried fruits... The restaurant closes late and offers interesting local specialties to taste. The service is all the more attentive as the hotel managers speak English. Ask to take advantage of the visit to the basement to discover the incredible troglodyte suites whose refinement is matched only by the authenticity of the decoration made of diverse local objects. All encircled around another swimming pool, they are really all more beautiful than the others but obviously have a price accordingly...

Our stay at Simurg Cave House Hotel was the best stay so far in our 12 day road trip around Cappadocia. What made it so special was the staff, and in particular Bursa! Her English was brilliant (our Turkish is nonexistent) and she told us of things to do, places to visit, etc. She really pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a relaxing pleasant stay. She even helped us with our next accommodation stay due to a technical problem we were having. The breakfast was phenomenal and we felt full until dinner. The rooms are beautiful and extremely quiet do we got a great nights sleep. A quiet room is a priority for me! On our arrival at the hotel there was a lot of noisy construction work going on and Bursa dealt with it so we could get some rest after our long journey. It would have been nice if there hadn't been any construction work going on but we understand improvements have to be done sometime! The only thing I'd suggest to the hotel is that they spruce up the rooms when the guests go out for the day. For example, there is a coffee machine in the room but we were never given more coffee or clean cups, and we stayed 3 nights. But other than that, the stay was perfect and we'd definitely return again! And we hope the lovely Bursa is there to greet us. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for everything you did to make our stay so great.

The hotel property is very nice and the staff was exceptional. Except the air in the room was very stale and hot, and we were put right next to the road so it was very noisy and hard to sleep, the roof of the room is made from wood so along with car noise and a bus of people being very loud at 6am then around 7:30 the people upstairs walked on top of our heads for an hour and cars almost shake the room. Also the pool is too cold in May to swim…all in all it is a nice hotel with very polite staff but I recommend asking for a quiet room away from the road and a fan for a decent sleep. Breakfast was very good.

The room was excellent, far exceeding my expectations. The bedding and bath were very comfortable. The common areas are beautifully designed. Although breakfast is in a separate restaurant, the setting is lovely, and the food is delicious and plentiful. The service was the best I've experienced in any hotel in Turkey. Ahmet at the front desk, who is also very handsome, was incredibly warm, polite, and professional. He provided detailed information and was very engaging. Plus, there are cute dogs! The only downside is that the first floor can be a bit noisy in the mornings, but it's not bothersome enough to detract from the overall experience. Highly recommended!
