My child loved it and wants to stay here again next time. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has several hotels: Penguin Hotel, Spaceship Hotel, and Hengqin Bay. Each has its unique features. Hengqin Bay's main draws are its water park and dolphins. The water park opens at 9:30 AM, and that's when the dolphins are fed, allowing for close-up viewing. The package ticket offers unlimited entry to Ocean Kingdom for two days, which is incredibly good value. Especially in the hot summer, you can get tired after half a day of playing, so it's great for kids to return to the hotel to rest and then come back the next day to finish exploring. Plus, you get one-hour early entry, avoiding the 10 AM queues at the main Chimelong entrance by using the hotel's exclusive通道. Breakfast at the hotel is also very extensive, with a wide variety of steamed dim sum, noodles, and more. Everything is of excellent quality! My child had a blast eating and playing. Hengqin Bay is absolutely massive, divided into Dolphin and Seahorse sections. Upon entering, you're almost shocked to see about a dozen counters with staff checking people in – it gets incredibly crowded! Naturally, during breakfast, two large restaurants serve food simultaneously. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but the concierge discreetly delivered four picture books and puzzles to the children, which was a very nice touch! We also had an experience ordering takeout. Everyone waited at the takeout handover point, and we were all assigned four-digit codes, making it feel like a secret agent rendezvous – quite amusing.

First off, a big thank you to Flora for arranging everything! We stayed at Wanghailou and MGM before this, and while those were satisfactory, Angsana's service truly surprised us. They upgraded our original sea view room to a 'Premium Sea View,' which was fantastic. The elevator goes directly down to the pool, and the way the pool blends with the trees here creates a wonderful, Bali-like atmosphere. Plus, the sunshine in Zhuhai isn't as intense as in Sanya, making it feel very relaxing – a much more laid-back vibe than the scenic pool at Wanghailou. The only minor point was on the other side of the pool, it seemed like it needed a good clean, as there was a bit of plastic trash. Since it wasn't a holiday, they also kindly arranged an early check-in and an extra hour for check-out, which I genuinely appreciated. At MGM, despite many empty rooms, they insisted on a 3 PM check-in, so comparisons are inevitable. The room facilities aren't brand new, but for the price point, they're perfectly fine, especially considering the neighboring hotels are over 3K. The Thai restaurant, 'Miyan,' was delicious; every dish was excellent, even better than most Thai restaurants. Irene also helped us secure the only private room, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. My only suggestion: the price of the Coke was unnecessarily high. The food prices were reasonable, but the Coke felt really out of place. Also, I'd suggest considering packages that include the minibar. For a resort hotel, a small investment there could greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, this was the best part of our trip, and we'll definitely be back!

My two friends and I stayed at the Meilihao this time, originally just looking for a place to relax for a couple of days. We didn't expect the experience to far exceed our expectations – our schedule was packed from morning till night, so I have to write a thorough positive review. First, let's talk about the facilities. The hotel's pool isn't a standard rectangle; it's irregularly shaped. The water seemed freshly cleaned and quite clean. It's divided into a children's play area and an adult swimming area, and there's staff monitoring the children's section, which is excellent for safety. There are also lifebuoys nearby. The deep end must be less than 1.65 meters, as the water level wasn't as high as me. Next to the pool, there's a wellness center. We initially planned to get a SPA with my friends, but the prices weren't very reasonable, so we skipped it. Further alongside, there are new energy charging stations, which is fantastic – we didn't have to go out looking for a place to charge. Dining: The buffet breakfast included with the room was incredibly lavish. It offered both Chinese and Western hot dishes, salads, fried rice, fried noodles, sweet soups, soy milk, egg tarts, donuts, and durian pastries – we thoroughly enjoyed it. Towards the end of our meal, the restaurant staff even brought us a platter of cantaloupe and watermelon. The biggest surprise was the **self-service afternoon tea** in the executive lounge. Everyone dining there was very civilized and quiet. You could help yourself to desserts, snacks, fruits, coffee, and tea. The coffee machine even let you choose between espresso and Americano, both of which were aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I felt like we got our money's worth just from these two meals! There were also small snacks and drinks in the lobby where we checked in, along with fruit drinks. The Qingbuliang sweet soup shop recommended by the lovely staff at the front desk was delicious. Guest Room: The hallway seemed to have an air freshener; the scent was very pleasant. Our triple room didn't have a window and looked like a school dormitory when we entered. The bed sheets and duvet covers were very clean, and the soft mattress was super comfortable to lie on. There wasn't enough water in the room to drink, but we could take water freely from the hallway. Upon check-out, the lovely staff asked about our stay, helped us scan the parking code, and even gave us a souvenir gift with some small snacks and a phone stand. The service was exceptional and very thoughtful. Meilihao Hotel has now been added to our list of places to revisit. Next time we're in Panyu, we'll definitely choose this place again.

First off, the check-in time was indeed quite long, but it's understandable given it was peak summer season. They even offered drinks while we waited, which was a nice touch! As an InterContinental member, I also received two complimentary drinks at the bar. The hotel's facilities are excellent. I went for a spa treatment while my child and husband went swimming – a perfect arrangement. As soon as I finished my spa, the butler notified me that our room key was ready! There was also a welcome fruit platter in the room. The room's view was absolutely unbeatable! We truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment. However, I actually found the breakfast to be even better than the dinner buffet. The oil-splashed noodles at breakfast were delicious 😋, and the chef who made them had such character, clearly demonstrating his passion for food. I really admire him! Thumbs up to him! 👍 For dinner, the seafood wasn't very fresh; the oysters and crab meat were quite loose. Plus, on the second night, we wanted to try the Southeast Asian restaurant, but upon arrival, many dishes were unavailable, which was a bit disappointing, so we left to eat elsewhere. Also, the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM. Overall, having stayed at this hotel over 10 years ago, returning now with my child, I still highly recommend it! The pool and beach are amazing, offering great privacy for guests! We will definitely be back 😊

The front desk staff patiently explained the exclusive guest benefits and park shuttle schedule, answering all our questions. The room was clean and quiet, with excellent hygiene, and even included children's toiletries – a very thoughtful detail. The hotel's location is superb, right in the center of the resort area. The free shuttle buses to and from all the parks are frequent, so we could easily return to the hotel to rest whenever we got tired. The biggest bonus was the early entry privilege for the zoo, which allowed us to avoid the peak tour group crowds and significantly enhanced our experience. The White Tiger Buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and we loved watching the white tigers roam from our window seats – my child especially enjoyed it. Concierge and housekeeping staff throughout the hotel proactively greeted us and were quick to respond to any issues. We seamlessly enjoyed the zoo, water park, and Grand Circus all in one trip, making travel with our 10-year-old effortless and stress-free. This is definitely our top choice for a family-friendly hotel, offering great value for money and worth returning to!

This hotel was my choice for a summer family trip, booked in advance with a 'stay + play' package. We arrived around 4 PM and I was still surprised by how massive it is. The penguin theme is really distinct, and it was packed with people – clearly a popular place! There were staff members everywhere. We took their advice and went to the Ocean Kingdom first, entering in minutes through the hotel's exclusive pass. When we returned after 6 PM, it was indeed less crowded, and check-in was smooth. The room was clean and odor-free, with child-friendly toiletries. The air conditioning worked great, the bedding was comfortable, and we had a view of the Ocean Kingdom from the window. We even discovered we could see the fireworks show at night, though unfortunately, a heavy rain that evening meant we had to miss Lang Lang's performance. Our dedicated butler was fantastic, explaining everything we needed to know about our stay and the park. For breakfast, they sent a QR code via WeChat, so no need to check at the front desk. Breakfast offered a huge variety, both Chinese and Western, and even though there were many people, it didn't feel chaotic. There was plenty of seating, and after a satisfying meal, we headed back into the park, full of good cheer. It was a very satisfying travel experience.

Excellent Stay at Grandview Golden Palace. The Room: The duplex suite is incredibly spacious, offering a great multi-level layout that feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Location: Super convenient—only about a 600-meter walk to the Tiyu Xilu Metro Station, making it incredibly easy to navigate Guangzhou. Food Scene: A fantastic food street is right nearby, packed with excellent local dining options right at your doorstep. Highly recommended for anyone wanting space and convenience in Guangzhou!

During peak season, it was too crowded, and the service was a bit lacking. Our room balcony smelled like urine, but the cleaning staff was so busy that no one came for over 20 minutes. I also saw some feces on the carpet in the public area on the first floor that hadn't been cleaned up promptly. With so many people, anything can happen... The main restaurant was full, so we had to go to the temporary buffet on the second floor. Waiting for the elevator also took a long time. The soundproofing in the room was very poor; we could hear fireworks on the beach until past midnight and even the noise of motorcycles revving their engines. The family room only had one bathroom, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, I felt the hotel's facilities and service were inadequate. The only good thing was the beach; it was relatively flat and convenient for swimming. In the afternoon, it was shaded by the buildings, but in the morning, it was very sunny.

We were celebrating my child's birthday here, and when I informed the hotel, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and decorated the room for the little one. I really appreciate that. They mentioned we could claim a complimentary birthday cake with my child's ID, but only if the birthdate on the ID matched the current date. Since my child's birthday is celebrated according to the ***** calendar, it naturally didn't match. I feel like this policy could be a bit more flexible. Luckily, I happened to run into a delivery person bringing a cake to the hotel lobby, and I was able to order one from him right away. It arrived in about an hour. Overall, everything was excellent, and the environment was lovely.

We've stayed at this hotel more than once, and that alone speaks volumes. It's one of the best hotels for us when visiting Zhuhai, particularly for its location between Xiangzhou District and Hengqin. The sea-view rooms are especially wonderful; just opening the balcony door (or even just looking through it) will captivate you with the stunning views of the Haojiang River and Macau. You can fully enjoy events like the Macau fireworks in September or watch the sunrise in the morning without even leaving your room. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the lobby downstairs is a great spot for photos. It's also quite close to the Shizimen Huafa Mall, so if you find the hotel's dining options a bit pricey, you can walk a few hundred meters to the mall for a wider range of choices to suit any budget. A morning stroll by the sea is also incredibly pleasant.
