The overall environment is comfortable, clean and hygienic. The leisure area in the yard is very suitable for sitting and chatting after dinner in the evening and blowing the sea breeze. The boss's cooking skills are very good, such as orchid crab, salt and pepper shrimp, etc. (I haven't tried the others), and the taste First-rate. The landlady is enthusiastic and attentive. She is a very nice person. She gives you all kinds of money-saving tips. It is worth staying. I feel that I haven’t had enough fun this time. I will come back next time if I have a chance.

This was my first time staying at a Home Inn hotel, and I'm very grateful to the hotel for providing my husband and me with such an unforgettable stay. Firstly, we chose this hotel because it had just opened this year, and we assumed the environment and hygiene would be good. This certainly didn't disappoint us. The hotel was clean and hygienic, except for a slight odor in the room (but not musty). We didn't contact the hotel to change rooms after noticing this issue. We booked a three-day stay. On the second night of our stay, around 10 PM, something happened that was the first time we'd encountered in all our years of hotel stays. We had asked the hotel cleaning staff to come in at 4 PM that afternoon. After cleaning, they placed two bottles of drinking water in the room. Around 10 PM, when we returned to the hotel and asked the front desk for more water, the two receptionists gave us two bottles. When I asked if we could have two more, they explained that the hotel only provides four bottles of drinking water per room per day, and any additional water would cost two yuan per bottle. We then asked if this was company policy, and the two receptionists firmly stated that this was their training and what their supervisors had told them. We expressed our dissatisfaction, saying it was the first time we'd encountered this situation in all our hotel stays, and stated that we would file a complaint. At this point, the receptionist noticed we were a bit upset and offered to give us a few more bottles of water. I refused and went to a convenience store next to the hotel to buy some. After returning to the hotel lobby, the receptionist again offered to give us a few more bottles of water, which I again refused. So, after returning to our room, I contacted Ctrip to cancel our third night's stay. During this process, the receptionist came to our room, knocked on the door, and brought a fruit platter and three bottles of water as an apology. My husband and I didn't want to make things difficult for the two receptionists, so we accepted them and told them to go home. However, I didn't touch the bottled water or the fruit platter. After this, the Ctrip staff were very responsible and helped us resolve the matter. However, at this point, my husband and I felt we couldn't stay at the hotel anymore, so we asked Ctrip to help us negotiate a refund for the night in question so we could move out that night. During the negotiation process, a woman claiming to be the hotel manager contacted me, asked me to repeat what happened, and asked about my demands. I was firm: I wanted a refund for today's room and I would move out immediately. In the few minutes we spoke, this manager didn't apologize once and kept shifting blame, saying the receptionist had handled it poorly. I continued to insist on my demands. Finally, the woman in charge compromised and said she would contact the hotel to refund the money. Then, dramatically, five minutes after hanging up with the woman, a Ctrip staff member suggested that I inform the hotel that they wouldn't give a refund. I said the hotel manager had just contacted me saying they would give me a refund, so why couldn't they now? Therefore, out of humanitarian considerations (to minimize the hotel's financial loss), my husband and I agreed to pay half the room rate (and get half the room rate back) to resolve the matter quickly and move out of the hotel. Ctrip eventually helped to settle the matter by paying half the room rate. My husband and I packed our bags and left the hotel. At this point, I went to the front desk to return the fruit platter and informed them that the five bottles of water that had been delivered were still in the room (the fruit platter and water were untouched). Firstly, the issue of bottled water is insignificant and not a big deal. However, as a branded hotel trying to control costs, not providing guests with more than four bottles of mineral water is something my husband and I have never encountered before. Throughout this whole process, only the front desk staff apologized to us. Even the manager who negotiated with me by phone later didn't apologize. We are still very grateful to the hotel for leaving such a lasting impression on our trip.
