Ξενοδοχεία Romantic σε Scottish Highlands, United Kingdom

"The hotel is in a good location, the surrounding environment is very good, the hotel's hardware conditions and internal software are good, breakfast is free of charge, and there is also a self-service package"

"Prices start at £4 or £5 per night... This is an old castle hotel on the west side of the Scottish Highlands. From a common area point of view everything is well done and impeccable. But from the point of view of the rooms...the price/performance ratio is obviously super low. The facilities are outdated, so I asked for a humidifier... A hair dryer that was produced 20 years ago came, which was completely unacceptable and had no humidifying effect at all. The shower room has very strict requirements on the size of the guests, and I personally feel that the water pressure can be further improved and improved. The laudable point is that the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap in the bathroom...all have two ball royal certifications, and the quality is also carried. The cold and hot water device of the washbasin is a traditional separate type, which is the kind of water that you either use cold water or hot water, and it cannot be warm water anyway. The sofa in the guest room is made of fabric. The disadvantage is that you can't see whether it has lice or whether it is clean. Anyway, it is so old that people don't want to sit on it at all. The carpet is lint-free, which means it's ”aged”. Well, let's talk about the public area: the restaurant's production is still quite standard, with Michelin standards, whether it's dinner or breakfast... It's pretty good, but the quality of the coffee is not good. The service staff are warm, courteous, serious and smiling. There are several casual living rooms and even dining rooms in the indoor public area, all of which are luxurious, comfortable, freehand, and comfortable, and there is nothing to fault. There are a large number of areas in the outdoor woods and paths that need to be improved, such as greening projects. One last thing to add: parking is free. After all, the owner, Mr. Chai, is a Chinese from Southeast Asia. The land of the ancient castle covers an area of 5,000 acres... If parking charges are required... it would be too stingy. In general...you can say that it is an ancient European style, but I personally think that the ancient European style does not necessarily need to update or refresh the facilities and furniture. Especially with such a large area, if the greening is not done well... it really responds to the old saying ”gold and jade are outside, and there is nothing in it”."

"The first 9 hotels in Sky Island before the trip are estimated to be expensive, but it is expensive, but the hotel is located in the middle of the Sky Island East-West Scenic Area. It is almost 40 to 50 in Nestor Point or the Old Man Peak. Minutes drive. The hotel is located in the bay, in a quiet environment, quiet to the extent of isolation, mobile phone signal is very poor, hotel WIFI is only available near the lobby. The surroundings are so good, so there are many cute little animals. Free parking, free breakfast, very good. The hotel has a good dinner, the former Tongan chicken liver appetizer, a grilled salmon main course, a grilled lamb chops main course, and two bottles of Sky Island dark beer (very good), for a total of 70 pounds, cheaper than the town restaurant. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped, with good toiletries and warm and thoughtful service."

"The hotel is from 1856 so it isn’t going to be ticking all your modern hotel boxes. It was clean, well presented and the staircase (that reportedly inspired Thomas’s Andrew’s design of the Titanic staircase) is a feature to behold. Our room was a good size, had comfortable twin beds and a good shower and bath. If you want to stay in a convenient location directly beside the train station and a stones throw from the bus station and local amenities, then this is well worth a look. It is very much like stepping back in time."

"The hotel is very comfortable, the price is quite right, and the scenery is very good. But the problem is that it is a little small to walk to the city center for about 20 minutes, and the WiFi signal is very poor, basically using traffic."

"The beauty cannot be expressed in words. When I drive into the manor, the road is lined with lush trees and the road is long. As I move forward, I see a beautiful old castle with a sense of history. The flowers in front of the door are in full bloom and the lobby lounge is warmly lit. It feels like I am home. The handsome Scottish boy at the front desk was warm and humorous. We were lucky and got a super large and super beautiful room. The window was facing the sea and could not be seen at a glance. Beautiful furniture, soft bed, no dreams!"

"位置看湖簡直是絕佳，距離威廉堡也不遠！到了發現之前定的房型看園景，想換房間，感謝攜程一直幫忙溝通，最後成功差價升級到湖景房。一定要定湖景！！"

"Facilities: There are parking spaces, restaurants and bars, but there is no area for walking; Sanitation: Overall good; Environment: The location is relatively remote, a bit far from the attractions on the island. Service: The hotel front desk service is good. In addition to informing various precautions, they also help with luggage. The service level of the restaurant is uneven, some are very professional, and some are just so-so. In general, compared with the high price of the hotel (more than 300 pounds per night in this season), the cost performance is not high. Maybe the higher the expectations, the more disappointed."

"The hotel is an old building, very tasteful, whether it is going to Fort William or returning to Edinburgh from Paradise Island, you can choose to rest here. Good service, facilities match the old building and three-star standards. It is said that along the road in front of the hotel, there is a small town with more seafood. I didn't go this time due to time. It is very close to the three sister peaks and it takes only 20 minutes to drive there. It was good to taste breakfast and lunch in the hotel restaurant."

"The hotel is small in size, so it can also be more meticulous service. Since it was Friday afternoon, the good evening restaurants in the city were fully booked, and the hotel staff was very enthusiastic to help me call a family. Breakfast has to be selected the day before, and it will be done now, and it feels good. The location is more convenient, you can park the car in the hotel yard and walk to the center."
