"Magnums Airlie Beach: My Honest Review After Three Nights I spent three nights at Magnums Airlie Beach and chose a self-contained cabin with a large bed and private bathroom. Magnums offers a unique accommodation style. The cabins are nestled among lush tropical greenery, so even though you're practically in the heart of Airlie Beach, inside the property, it feels like you're living in a forest. 📍 Location – The Main Advantage It's close to shops, cafes, restaurants, the lagoon, and the boardwalk. I walked to all the main spots in the center. This is especially convenient if you're traveling without a car or if you're heading out early in the morning for excursions to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. 🛏 My Cabin The room was spacious and clean. Inside, there was a large bed, air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator, a table, Wi-Fi, and towels. The cabin also had its own small veranda. Despite the central location and proximity to bars, it was quiet in my cabin in the evenings – I didn't hear any noise. Perhaps this depends on where your room is located on the property. 🍳 Communal Kitchen Magnums has a large communal kitchen that I used several times. You can genuinely cook a full meal there: there are stoves, microwaves, air fryers, toasters, sandwich presses, utensils, and large refrigerators. In Australia, where dining out can be expensive, this is a helpful way to cut costs. 👩‍💼 Staff Check-in was very pleasant. My cabin became available earlier, so the staff didn't make me wait until the official time and gave me the keys right away. The staff were friendly and willing to help. What seemed odd: the door inside the cabin was noticeably smaller than the door frame and didn't close it completely. For one person, this wasn't an issue, but for two people, such a design might affect the sense of privacy. My rating is 8 out of 10. "Very unique experience of staying inside a national park. Welcoming cookies & drink upon arrival. The hotel provided some tours (some free, some at a reasonable charge). We joined the glowing worms & bird watching tour. The tour guide Meghan is very knowledgeable & we enjoyed the tours very much! Breakfast was good with plenty of choices! There are a lot of walking trails nearby where our family fully enjoyed the experience!"

"I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip. The reception staff were very kind and lent me towels and a hairdryer. It was also really fun sharing a room with people from various countries, not just tourists, but also those on working holidays looking for jobs. I was a little worried about bugs. Of course, there were small insects flying around outside, but the room and shower room were fine. It was a great trip! Thank you."

"Stayed at Cairns Plaza for a few nights and found it comfortable and well located. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is one of its strongest points, right by the Esplanade, an easy walk to the wharf for Great Barrier Reef excursions, and around ten minutes on foot to the night markets and promenade. The room was very clean, genuinely spotless. No insects or critters at all, which really matters in this climate. It was spacious, with a fridge and a good sized balcony. My room had both sea and mountain views, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a solid and reliable hotel. Not luxury, but clean, comfortable, and very convenient for getting around Cairns."

"Overall, I was satisfied with the value for money. The location wasn't bad either, which was great because I could get around Brisbane to the city center and main attractions without worrying about transportation costs. The room was cleaner than I expected, and most importantly, it was convenient to connect my phone to the TV to watch shows. Cable TV worked well too. All in all, it's not a super luxurious hotel, but for this price, it's a perfectly satisfying place to stay!"

"The one-bedroom suite we stayed in was good value for money. All the one-bedroom suites face the main road, which can be a little noisy at times, but are spacious and well maintained. The receptionist was extremely helpful. The parking area can fill up quickly in the evening, but there is also street parking outside. Complimentary morning coffee and muffins are available in the guests' lounge every day."

"Our stay at Madison Tower Mill Hotel was comfortable and convenient. The hotel is located close to the Brisbane CBD, Roma Street Station, and Central Station, making it easy to get around. There is also a City Loop bus stop right next to the hotel, which is very handy. One downside is that the hotel is situated on a hill, so there are quite a few steep walks and stairs when returning to the property. The hotel also provides limited amenities, no toiletries, and no slippers provided, meaning guests need to walk barefoot on the cold floor. The room size was okay but comfortable, with enough space for four people to move around without feeling cramped. Overall, it is a good option for travellers looking for a convenient location close to public transport and the city centre."
