This hotel surprises you with its amazing style. In the lobby, you're greeted by figures of characters from different movies and the tempting smell of popcorn. The staff is very polite and friendly. They helped me urgently order an extra suitcase, and I'm especially grateful for that. The room is very cozy and high-tech. In the center of the room there's a projector that you can use to watch movies. Cleaning is done every day. The hotel also has a robot. The location is great. The main tourist spots are within walking distance. There are also metro stations nearby. Not far from the hotel there are several grocery stores, restaurants, and bars.

Choosing the right accommodation truly elevated our Disney experience! The hotel's location is superb, making dining, entertainment, and transportation incredibly convenient. The room hygiene was impeccable; it was so clean and tidy that we felt completely relaxed. The front desk staff were attentive and reliable, making check-in a breeze, and they were proactive in resolving any requests we had. The complimentary shuttle service to and from Disneyland was a thoughtful touch, making transport hassle-free. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the toiletries were high-quality, offering a great user experience. We also enjoyed the free massage chairs in the lobby, along with freshly ground coffee and daily brewed plum juice available at all times. On a night we returned late from the park, our clothes hadn't dried, and a staff member thoughtfully offered to dry and fold them for us. This level of detailed service truly made our stay exceptionally comfortable.

My child had an exam nearby, so I wanted to find a close place to rest. I'd seen this hotel being renovated and thought I'd give it a try. I arrived earlier than my check-in time and asked if there was an available room I could get into sooner. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes until a room was ready, and then they gave me the key card. Upon entering, it was clear the room had just been cleaned – the floor was still wet, a sign it had just been mopped. It had a smart toilet, and I didn't use the shower. The hand soap was verbena-scented, and there were two bottles of Nongfu Spring bottled water. Being on the side facing the residential area, it was relatively quiet. The air conditioning was powerful. The TV was a Skyworth smart TV, which allowed for on-demand content and screen mirroring. There's a small booth seating area with cushions and a small coffee table in the room, which is great for eating and means you're not just confined to the bed. Everything I've mentioned so far was satisfactory, but now for a pretty critical issue. As shown in image three, this huge bag of trash was left outside my door from 10 AM until 2:30 PM. It was ridiculous. Every time I went in or out, I could smell the garbage. There's actually a partition between rooms a bit further down; if it had been placed even 5 or 10 meters further away, I wouldn't have had to complain. This was particularly disappointing. The trash caused significant air pollution and was a very unpleasant experience. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and properly trains and assesses its service staff.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip to Shanghai's West Bund and my overall experience far exceeded expectations. The hotel is right next to Xuhui Riverside and the West Bund Art Center, which made commuting for meetings incredibly convenient. I could even walk to the riverside promenade for a relaxing stroll after work. The entire hotel has a newly renovated Zen-inspired style, with quiet and elegant public areas. The room was exceptionally clean, the bedding was soft and thick, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful sleep even after working late. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and polite. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, with the noodle dishes being particularly delicious. They also have a washer-dryer combo and a gym, covering all the essential amenities for business travelers. This is definitely my top choice for business trips, and I'll rebook here whenever I'm in the West Bund area again.

The rooms are clean and tidy, predominantly featuring a minimalist modern decor with wood tones and white accents, creating a fresh and elegant ambiance for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is a buffet with a rich variety of options; the freshly cooked noodles and mini wontons are particularly popular, with a free choice of toppings. The front desk staff are friendly and highly responsive, striking a perfect balance—never overly intrusive, yet always on hand to assist promptly when needed.

This is the worst HUAZHU hotel I've ever seen, far worse than even a Hanting. The room was tiny, which I could overlook, but the hallways and rooms were run-down, and the faucet had a lot of limescale (first time I've ever seen that at a hotel). There was no fridge, and only two bottles of water in the room. The location was decent, but in Shanghai, where the subway system is so extensive, that's hardly an advantage. The card-swipe elevator access was pointless since the fire escape door next to it was wide open, allowing anyone to come and go freely. It was just a place to sleep, really.

The hotel is right next to the pedestrian street, just a few minutes' walk from the Bund and Nanjing Road. Aside from the fantastic location, the service was a mixed bag: the housekeeping staff was quite underwhelming. We checked out early in the morning, left our luggage at the front desk, went out for lunch, and shopped for souvenirs along the pedestrian street before heading back in the afternoon to grab our bags for the high-speed train to Hangzhou. During those few hours, nobody mentioned anything about the handmade soft soap and other toiletries we had accidentally left behind in the shower. On a brighter note, the front desk team was outstanding—professional yet genuinely warm, and they communicated effortlessly, politely, and respectfully with international guests. Combining comfort, warmth, professionalism, and a convenient location, the overall experience was great.

We stayed at Magnotel (Shanghai International Tourism Resort, Pudong Airport) for 8 nights, and overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. For the price, we felt that we got good value, especially since we were staying for more than a week as two international travelers. The room was surprisingly spacious for two people. We had quite a lot of luggage with us, but there was still plenty of space to move around and organize our things. The bed was comfortable, and we really appreciated the daily housekeeping. After being out all day exploring Shanghai, it was nice to come back to a clean and tidy room. The hotel breakfast was okay. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but there were enough choices for a decent breakfast before heading out for the day. Having breakfast at the hotel was convenient, especially when we had an early schedule. Another big plus was the shuttle service. The hotel provides airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as shuttle service to and from Shanghai Disneyland. This was very convenient, especially when we had luggage or were coming back late after a long day. It made getting to and from the airport much easier, and the Disneyland shuttle was also helpful during our visit. The location worked well for us because we were usually out for most of the day exploring different parts of Shanghai. There is a bus station within walking distance, although it takes around 15–20 minutes to get there. The walk was manageable for us, but it's something to consider if you're not used to walking or if you're carrying a lot of things. There is a convenience store right next to the hotel, which was useful for getting water, drinks, and a few basic necessities. However, the selection was quite limited, so there really wasn't much to choose from. There also weren't many restaurants or food options immediately around the hotel. Because of this, we ended up ordering food delivery quite often, especially after long days when we were already tired and didn't want to walk around looking for somewhere to eat. Thankfully, the hotel's delivery robot was very convenient. Whenever we ordered food, the robot would bring the delivery to the hotel, so we didn't have to keep going down to the lobby to collect our orders. This was a small feature, but it made things much easier during our stay. The bathroom doesn't have a bidet, which was probably the main thing we noticed was missing. It's not a major issue, but it's something worth knowing in advance if you're used to having one. Overall, the hotel was clean, spacious, comfortable, and good value for an 8-night stay. The area is relatively quiet, and it may not be the best choice if you want to step outside and immediately have lots of restaurants, shops, or street food options. However, if you're okay with using public transportation, walking a bit, or ordering food delivery, it works well. For us, the combination of a spacious room, daily housekeeping, comfortable bed, airport shuttle, Disneyland shuttle, and convenient delivery robot made the stay easy and comfortable. We were mostly out exploring Shanghai anyway, so the hotel served as a comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. Overall, we would consider booking again if we return to Shanghai. It was a comfortable and practical choice for our trip, especially for a longer stay.

The hotel is very close to Nanjing Road, with plenty of shopping and delicious food nearby. You can also enjoy a walk along Nanjing Road all the way to the Bund! Getting around is convenient, with a bus stop just a two-minute walk away and metro stations serving two to three lines about a 10-minute walk away. There’s also a barbecue restaurant right downstairs, perfect for anyone who enjoys a late-night supper! 👍🏻👍🏻 Overall, this hotel is a great choice for exploring the city, especially if it’s your first time visiting Shanghai.
