The hotel is very good, one room and one living room with kitchen and dishwasher. Better than the hotel

Ok so first let me just say for the price we paid on the days we went. It wasn't horrible. I would go back BUT YMMV so this was my experience. Location was great. Right on the boardwalk and an easy walk to Hard Rock when we went to the concert. Service was meh. The only time I had a friendly anyone in the establishment was the woman who checked us out. Everyone else that we interacted with were either disinterested or perfunctory. No help on where to find our rooms, no help on any services offered. We didn't even get the annoying (did you want to sign up for our card?) that you get in ****** hotels. I guess that was a plus. From my understanding we were on the ”older side” of the establishment. But regardless, staying on an entire floor that says non smoking it smelled of smoke. both cigarettes and ****. I don't care if you do either but I do care to smell either in my room or right outside my door (defeats the whole purpose of non smoking). Everything is dated which is whatever. but the blinds didn't work the coffee maker wire was too short for the ”dresser” so you had to keep moving it to the nightstand to use it. The room itself was relatively clean although the back of the nightstands hadn't been touched in a long time with all that accumulation of dust. Its design is just...weird. like so much random open area. I guess you can dance there lol. The ”dresser” didn't have drawers it had...like cubby holes. We didn't use them seemed pointless. I didn't even bother with the tv it was too far away and faced away from any sitting area (again weird layout). The ****** itself was ok. Nothing crazy although I did like that rotating bar they had. But again. EVERYWHERE just reeked of smoke. To use a comparison, at Hard Rock when you were on the ****** side sure people smoked there (i get it) but the hotel side of things smelled clean refreshing and airy. In the end, manage expectations and you'll be fine. If you are a smoker I am sure you will be fine too. If all you plan to do is sleep there its fine (although we were on the 7th floor and could still hear the music bumping below but the music was good so w/e lol) It works, again its not horrible. Its definitely 2.5-3 star range.

Review of Tropicana Atlantic City Overall, the hotel itself was okay — the room was clean and the property is large and interesting. However, several issues seriously affected our weekend stay. First, there was no bottled water in the room upon arrival. We came on a very hot day, and not having even basic drinking water in the room felt unacceptable and very inconvenient for a hotel of this level. Second, the pool situation was very disappointing. We specifically booked this hotel for a weekend stay to enjoy the pools, but the schedule was extremely inconvenient. Check-in is at 4:00 PM, while the pool closes at 5:00 PM on Sunday. This basically leaves guests with only about one hour to use the pool on arrival day. On Monday, the pool was completely closed. This makes no sense for a weekend getaway, especially when guests come specifically to relax by the pool. Additionally, the website stated that toothbrushes should be available in the room, but they were not provided. Fortunately, we had our own. Another very disappointing point was the lack of acknowledgment of a special occasion. I noted during booking that it was my husband’s birthday, but there was no greeting or recognition at check-in or during our stay. In today’s hospitality standards, it is common for hotels to at least acknowledge birthdays or special occasions, and this absence was very disappointing. Overall, while the hotel is clean and generally fine, these basic organizational issues — no water in the room, inconvenient pool hours, and no recognition of an important occasion — significantly ruined our experience.

My stay was quite pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located near Newark Airport, making travel easy. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, suitable for business trips or when you have an early flight to catch.

The location is still very convenient, and the facilities are okay. It is suitable for families traveling with children. It has a microwave and a refrigerator, which is very convenient for hot food.

The Robert Treat Hotel is a very nice place for an overnight getaway or any occasion. Although my room had to be changed 3xs due to a few things not working and a blood stained comforter. The staff from the Front Desk to Engineering/Housekeeping to Security were diligent in making sure I was comfortable for the remainder of my stay!! In the hospitality industry, many things do happen however, it's the way in which things are handled! THANK YOU AGAIN STAFF FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM AND TAKING CARE OF MY ISSUES PROMPTLY! I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN I WILL STILL GIVE 5 STARS!

We booked for the night prior to cruise. Hotel was short taxi from airport and offered transfer to cruise port. Great location for airport/cruise port and shopping at outlet mall just opposite. Room was basic but clean, with breakfast included in price. All in all great value for money and would use again.

The screen door to the balcony was broken and the screen ripped apart from its door frame. It would not close all the way or lock. The second issue is the refrigerator was broken and froze everything I put in it. I lost the food I put in it due to it being frozen solid. the back of the refrigerator was completely caked with ice and when I told front desk and asked if the Bistro was still open a few minutes before it was scheduled to close, I got a ”sorry” and the cook was cleaning up and would not make something to replace the lunch I had lost. There was no microwave in the room which would have helped me in this instance, and would help other visitors in the future. The last issue is the bathtub/shower and the most important one. The floor of the tub was not protected with any kind of slip-resistant materials and was as slippery as ice. I did slip when I took a shower but luckily I was able to catch my fall. At 74 years of age, that could have been devastating for me and, in the long run, for the hotel as well. I notified the front desk about this and asked if they had any kind of rubber mat or something I could use to avoid possibly falling and, again, the answer was the same as it was for the refrigerator; i.e. ”I'm sorry.” I was then given two cloth bath mats to put in the shower.

This hotel is in New Jersey County near New York, with a good location, relatively quiet, clean and sanitary. But the service needs to be improved. I asked to check out at 11 o'clock, and after arguing for a while, it was 11:30. It was not very friendly, and I expressed my dissatisfaction when I left.

Very nice, very clean updated room. We were in room 301- so no view or balcony- but you could step outside and walk around and look at the water (which is across the street)-BUT people do walk by the front of your room, in front of the sliding glass doors, so if you don't want that, book room with a view- they have balconies and you cannot walk in front of them.Check in was a breeze and Diane was very efficient and informative. We only stayed 1 night, but chose not to go to the pool because we came on a Sunday, thinking it would be quiet and chill. The bar is right next to the heated pool and there was a band, so it was not quiet- nothing wrong with it- just not what we were looking for. Beach was gorgeous. They have a jitney that takes you to town and towels available that you can also take to the beach. Keurig, microwave and mini-fridge in each room as well as a safe and robes. Well-lit at night and felt safe walking to my room solo. AC worked wonderfully - I should have brought an extra blanket. Water pressure was a little weak but doable. Only negatives- beds were pretty soft and the pillows were terrible- bring your own.
