In Spain, Renfe provides significant fare discounts for large families: 20% for general category families and 50% for special category families. Renfe Children Fare
For children aged 4 to 13, Renfe provides a 40% discount on ticket prices. These children can choose seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and can make changes or request refunds according to the ticket type, which might incur a fee. Children under four travel for free but are not permitted a reserved seat. On Cercanías trains, children under six can travel for free without a reserved seat.
Renfe Over-60s Fare
