Trains to/from Stansted Airport may be delayed by up to 10 minutes or modified. To help reduce congestion in the area, the service to and from Stansted Airport has been reduced to three trains every hour, rather than four. A signaling system failure between Brockenhurst and Southampton Central means that all lines are currently disrupted.

      Διαχειριστές:CrossCountry,South Western Railway
Σχετικές πληροφορίες:A signaling system failure between Brockenhurst and Southampton Central means that all lines are currently disrupted. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or have their schedules revised. Disruption is expected to last until the end of the day. CrossCountry customer advice: Your ticket can be used at no additional cost on South Western Railway services between Bournemouth and Southampton Central in both directions. South Western Railway customer advice: Due to multiple signals having failed on both tracks in the Brockenhurst area, trains will have to run at reduced speeds on the lines between these stations, as they must be guided through the affected areas for safety. Engineers are working hard to repair the failure; however, until these signals are fixed and operating normally, a heavily reduced schedule with service modifications will be in effect from the start of service. Please check journey planners and departure screens before traveling, as there are a number of modifications and cancelations to reduce the volume of trains passing through the affected signaling section. As a result, London Waterloo to Bournemouth/Weymouth services will be delayed by approximately 60 minutes in both directions while passing through these areas. Arrangements have been made for your tickets to be accepted on the local buses listed below, and standby road replacement buses are currently being requested. We will provide updates here once they are in place. Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on the following services: Rail services: CrossCountry services between Bournemouth and Basingstoke Great Western Railway services between Weymouth, Westbury, Bristol, Reading, and London Paddington Bus services: Bluestar routes: 6 between Southampton - Totton - Ashurst - Brockenhurst - Lymington 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 between Southampton - Millbrook - Redbridge - Totton First bus routes: 10 between Weymouth - Upwey - Dorchester X51 between Weymouth and Dorchester X53 between Weymouth and Axminster X54 between Wareham - Wool - Weymouth Morebus routes: X1 and X2 between Lymington - New Milton - Christchurch - Bournemouth 119 between New Milton and Lymington 120 between New Milton - Sway - Lymington If you need any help with your journey, please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point. If you would prefer to use local buses to continue your journey, please check Traveline. South Western Railway tickets are not valid on local buses unless stated above. Check before you travel: You can check your journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner. For helpful advice if you need to travel on a substitute bus service, including accessibility and bicycle information, please visit our Rail Replacement Services page. You can find the pick-up and drop-off locations of replacement bus services by checking station signage or by searching for your station on our Find a Station page. Please be advised that replacement vehicles may be busier than usual, and you should allow extra time for your commute. Compensation: You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.

Σχετικές πληροφορίες:Damage to the overhead electrical wires in the Birmingham area is causing disruption to services, meaning the track running from Birmingham New Street toward Wolverhampton is blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, canceled, or rerouted via an alternate route. Disruption is expected until approximately 12:00 PM. Advice for Avanti West Coast customers: Trains may detour via an alternate route to continue their journey. Where this occurs, these services will not stop at Birmingham New Street. If your train is canceled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your scheduled train, or one of the two immediately after. Advice for CrossCountry customers: Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services and routes: West Midlands Metro tram services between Wolverhampton station and Grand Central, for Birmingham New Street. You do not need to modify your ticket to use it on these services. Replacement bus service has been requested to run between Wolverhampton and Stafford. You may use these services at no additional cost. Any confirmed buses will be shown in online journey planners. All substitute buses will be fully accessible. If you are a disabled customer requiring further assistance for your disrupted journey, please speak to railroad station staff or use the customer help points if the station is unstaffed. If your CrossCountry train is canceled, you can use your ticket on the two CrossCountry services operating before and the two CrossCountry services after your canceled service. Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not carry over, but Cars B, H, and L are our unreserved train cars on CrossCountry services (where available), so please head to those. If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost. Advice for London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway customers: Some trains may be able to detour via an alternate route (via Bescot Stadium). This route takes about 10-15 minutes longer than normal. Trains that are able to detour will not be able to stop at Coseley, Tipton, Dudley Port, Sandwell & Dudley, Smethwick Galton Bridge, or Smethwick Rolfe Street. Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following alternative options: West Midlands Railway services between Birmingham Snow Hill / Birmingham Moor Street and Smethwick Galton Bridge. West Midlands Metro between Birmingham Grand Central (next to Birmingham New Street) - West Bromwich Central - Wolverhampton (St. Georges, 10 minutes from the train station). You can transfer at West Bromwich Central for bus routes 4, 4H, and 4M to/from Sandwell and Dudley station. Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey at no extra cost: Avanti West Coast between Crewe and Birmingham New Street West Midlands Railway between Shrewsbury and Birmingham New Street These arrangements are in place on services until further notice. If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost. Additional information: A train broke down between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton this morning. A rescue train arrived at the location to attach to the broken-down service; however, this locomotive has incurred the same fault as the broken-down service due to the damaged overhead wires.
