Σχετικές πληροφορίες:Damage to the overhead electrical wires in the Birmingham area is causing disruption to services, meaning the track running from Birmingham New Street toward Wolverhampton is blocked.
As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, canceled, or rerouted via an alternate route.
Disruption is expected until approximately 12:00 PM.
Advice for Avanti West Coast customers: Trains may detour via an alternate route to continue their journey. Where this occurs, these services will not stop at Birmingham New Street.
If your train is canceled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your scheduled train, or one of the two immediately after.
Advice for CrossCountry customers: Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services and routes:
West Midlands Metro tram services between Wolverhampton station and Grand Central, for Birmingham New Street.
You do not need to modify your ticket to use it on these services.
Replacement bus service has been requested to run between Wolverhampton and Stafford. You may use these services at no additional cost. Any confirmed buses will be shown in online journey planners.
All substitute buses will be fully accessible. If you are a disabled customer requiring further assistance for your disrupted journey, please speak to railroad station staff or use the customer help points if the station is unstaffed.
If your CrossCountry train is canceled, you can use your ticket on the two CrossCountry services operating before and the two CrossCountry services after your canceled service.
Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not carry over, but Cars B, H, and L are our unreserved train cars on CrossCountry services (where available), so please head to those.
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
