At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Xining hotel features parking on site. This hotel is a popular accommodation for groups of friends traveling together.
"The location is good, and the rooms are large, spacious, and clean; they're perfectly fine for several people. The only downside is parking; you need to find a parking lot separately as there isn't one specifically for the hotel. However, the price is very reasonable."

The hotel lobby is located on the first floor of the building, from the 11th floor to the 12th floor, there are double rooms, superior double rooms, twin rooms, superior twin rooms, family rooms and other room types to choose from.
"Pros: For its price point, the hygiene, soundproofing, and location are top-notch. It's right next to the train station, and even in a room at the end of the hall, you can't hear any outside noise. Cons: On the night we checked in, I specifically asked the front desk about breakfast times. They only told me 7:00-10:00 but failed to mention that since the hotel shares an entrance and elevators with the Ji Hotel, the restaurant floor can only be accessed with a Ji Hotel key card. Guests staying at Hanting Express are limited to dining at the single table in the lobby, which is less than 20 square meters. This feels like a deliberate concealment. We paid extra for double breakfast portions for both our rooms, but the food was incredibly sparse: only 1 boiled egg, 1 pre-packaged burger/chicken wrap (choose one), and 1 cup of soy milk per person. If you wanted more, you had to pay extra. The experience gap between different brands within the same hotel group is huge. Suggestions: 1. Absolutely do not pay extra for breakfast; it's very poor value for money. You're better off grabbing something from a street vendor. 2. I hope the hotel front desk will proactively explain the actual breakfast dining situation to guests who have purchased breakfast during check-in, to reduce negative reviews. Multiple reviews have already stated – had they known the breakfast was like this, they would never have paid extra for it."

The restaurant is super photogenic, and sitting on the swing on the platform in the evening, watching the sun set over the sacred lake, is truly therapeutic. The rooms have oxygen concentrators, floor heating, and electric blankets – that alone puts it leagues ahead of other guesthouses. The owner is a local, seems honest and trustworthy. When we left, he said goodbye to each guest at the door, kindly helped with our luggage, and even gave us insider tips for the best route to Chaka Salt Lake (which isn't on Gaode Maps)."

"The platform claimed the hotel was newly renovated in 2026, but upon arrival, I was greatly disappointed. It was a classic case of 'what you see online versus what you get in reality.' The hotel's decor and facilities were very old, making it hard to believe it was a new opening in '26. We stayed in a triple room, and on that floor, only one light was working in the hallway, making it very dark. Additionally, after exiting the elevator, you had to pass through a security door with a threshold on the floor. The lighting was extremely dim, and there were no signs warning about the threshold, which caused me to trip. The only upside was perhaps the large parking lot."

"It was difficult to find the hotel in the first place when we stepped out of the taxi as we need to enter the building, go up to the 9th floor. Before, we asked surrounding locals ans they had no idea where was our hotel even :) The room were really spacious for 4 people. However, there were one queen bed for, and one big single bed which were not enough for 4 people to sleep in. Also, the room in reality didn't match at all the illustrated images. I suggest the hotel to be more honest with how their rooms look like so future guests wont be shocked as I was in the first place. Nevertheless, the hotel location was excellent. Next to the train station, to the market streets, surrounding mosques and Nanshan Park. We had a great time in Xining."

"I saw this homestay on Trip.com by mistake. The overall situation exceeded expectations. The newly opened homestay is very beautiful. The room is very clean. The sheets are snowy and white. The boss told us to walk to the mountain of their house in the afternoon and see the beautiful sunset. sunset, In the morning, you can see the sunrise slowly sprouting on the Qinghai Lake. It is booming and super healing. The boss is very handsome and responsible. What we need will be provided to us. Breakfast is free. Although I didn’t eat haha, there are Tibetan grandmothers. The dumplings are very beautiful. I really like haha, the first photo boss helped me take with yak technology is good 👍 Don't say more, look at the picture "

Facilities: The ingredients are beautifully colored, a vibrant red, and the flavor is rich but not greasy—it's a very authentic restaurant. The ambiance is fantastic; it's the perfect choice for gatherings with family and friends or company team-building events. 💓 I absolutely love this hidden gem of a restaurant! I'll definitely be a regular customer. The staff are very professional, patiently explaining everything and answering many questions.

The service was excellent, and the location was very convenient. The environment was beautiful, and everything was clean and well-maintained with complete facilities. The breakfast was delicious. It's located behind a hospital, above a shopping mall, and in front of a snack street. Overall, it was really great.

Simple budget accommodation. Quiet back lane location, but walking distance to temple. Good looking food menu but you have to navigate an app. Nice staff. Clothes line in room was nice surprise.

The only one good thing staying here is the location. Be warned that the room is small and bath towels are not issued. It appeared that the management has a strut control on the issuing of amenities for the room. There's also no sign of the aircon controller in the room. Not recommended for long stays.

Xining is a fantastic, vibrant city, and my biggest regret is not staying longer; it deserves way more time than just a quick transit stop thanks to its incredible food scene, night markets, and laid-back vibe. During my visit, I stayed at LETE Hostel, which serves as a solid, character-rich base for exploring the region. The top-floor communal space has real history and soul, beautifully flooded with sunlight, packed with green plants, a massive library, and even three cute resident birds. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind-hearted and welcoming, always doing their best to help out. Location-wise, it’s perfect - super convenient for the night markets, local food stalls, and bus stops, plus they offer safe bike storage for cyclists. For the price of a private room, the value and hospitality here are unbeatable, and I would absolutely stay again - and next time, I’ll be giving Xining the full week it deserves.

My home is right in front of Harmony Homes. If it weren't for the guests at home, I wouldn't have known there was such an affordable hotel. The experience is very good. A lot of toiletries are given as gifts, so you don’t need to take them from home. The decoration of the room is quite new. The mattresses and quilt cores on the bed should not have been used for a long time. They are all quite new, which is good. We booked two rooms, and found out that the stickers on the walls of each room were different, each with its own meaning, and they were very thoughtful. All the guest supplies in the room are disposable, so you don’t have to worry about hygiene and whether there are bacteria. You can just replace them after use. The business really thinks about consumers. In the future, guests who come to the house will choose your place to stay. Rest assured, feel at ease and take care! ! ! 👍👍👍

Good: - The hotel was a 10 minute walk away from Dongguan mosque and the Xiananguan market - Looks fairly new with decent facilities Bad: - I saw a tiny cockroach in my room 5 minutes after checking in. - There was also a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout my first day in the hotel. The staff that came to investigate claimed it was the cleaning agents that they use 🤷. He did try to help by spraying some cleaning agent around the room though. - There is some ventilation vent (which I suspect transmits the cigarette smoke smell between rooms) which also transmits noise from other rooms. I could hear other guests talking loudly at each other in their own rooms past 12am - there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer. I attempted to use them on three separate occasions and only succeeded in my third time. After washing my clothes, the dryer then took 3 hours to fully dry my clothes. Other guests who wanted to use the dryer would have probably been frustrated.

The vibe here is great! The guys at the front desk are super friendly and helpful; they go out of their way to meet guests' requests. They also share lots of tips on food and travel, showing how much effort they put into running this hostel. I had a bit of altitude sickness when I first arrived in Xining, but propping up my pillow and leaving a small gap in the window and the bed curtain helped a lot. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit.
