Ξενοδοχεία με 2-Star σε Shandong, China

For the first few days of my stay in Qingdao, I booked the compact single room. This time, for two days, I tried the double-bed room with a table and a large window, and it is really excellent for the price. The room is extremely clean and has all the basic amenities such as a shower, dental kit, and towels. One small difference is that instead of traditional cloth towels, they provide disposable paper-fiber towels. The room is also much more spacious than the single room, even though the price increase is very small. I paid about 55 RMB for the smaller room, while this room cost around 63–64 RMB, but the size is almost double. The room has a very large window facing the road in front of the hotel. I expected it to be noisy, but surprisingly it was not. There are many power outlets and switchboards, which makes it convenient for charging phones or laptops. The room also has a large TV, along with a table and chair where you can comfortably sit and work. The staff, as I mentioned earlier, are extremely friendly. By the end of my stay, they almost felt like friends. If you order food or buy items from e-commerce platforms like Jingdong or Taobao, the staff will collect the packages and store them safely on the first floor. Sometimes the delivery person will even bring the order directly to your room. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the room was very well maintained and spotless. It also includes a hairdryer and hangers. The room I booked had two beds, so if you are traveling with a colleague for business, this is a great option. The location is not extremely central, but it is still convenient. The nearest subway station is about a 10–15 minute walk, which was not a problem for me. There are also several convenience stores nearby where you can quickly buy snacks or basic items. Overall, the room is very well maintained, extremely clean, and free of dust. If you are visiting this part of the city, this hotel is definitely a good option to consider.

📍The Maizkaren Hotel boasts an excellent location, situated directly in front of a large shopping mall and a subway station. This positioning provides immense convenience for guests, making it easy to access shopping, dining, and transportation options. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this central location is a standout feature that can significantly enhance your stay. 💸Price: One of the hotel’s most appealing aspects is its budget-friendly pricing. For travelers who prioritize affordability, the Maizkaren Hotel offers good value for money. This can be particularly advantageous for longer stays or for families and groups who need to manage their budgets carefully. 🧼Cleanliness: The hotel had an unpleasant smell. This is a significant drawback as cleanliness is a fundamental expectation for most guests. An unpleasant odor can stem from various issues such as inadequate cleaning, poor ventilation, or plumbing problems. This aspect requires immediate attention from the hotel management to ensure a better guest experience. Basic Room Amenities: Comfortable beds, clean linens, working air conditioning/heating, and essential toiletries. 🛜Wi-Fi: Available for free. 📈Recommendations for Improvement: 1. Address the Smell Issue: Conduct a thorough investigation to identify the source of the unpleasant smell. This might require deep cleaning, improving ventilation, or fixing plumbing issues. 2. Maintain Competitive Pricing: Continue to offer affordable rates to attract budget-conscious travelers. 3. Enhance Cleaning Protocols: Implement stricter cleaning protocols to ensure all areas, especially common spaces and guest rooms, are clean and odor-free. 4. Improve Amenities: ensure that all room amenities are in working order. Maizkaren Hotel in Qingdao offers an unbeatable location and a budget-friendly price, making it an attractive choice for many travelers. However, the issue of the unpleasant smell needs to be addressed immediately to improve the overall guest experience. With some attention to cleanliness and maintenance, the hotel can become a more appealing option for visitors to Qingdao. Much love ❤️

It's located in the Badaguan scenic area, within walking distance of the Second Bathing Beach. It's not far from the subway station or May Fourth Square. The decor is unique, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. It's quiet and the service is friendly.

Overall, the stay was excellent. The room was meticulously cleaned, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was superb. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, the location was excellent, the facilities were complete, and the value for money was outstanding. I would definitely choose this place again for my next trip.

The hotel’s location is convenient. It is not very far from May 4th Square, although it is not within comfortable walking distance. One advantage is that there is a metro station directly in front of the hotel, which makes transportation easy. When I first checked in, I was given a room on the sixth floor. After spending some time there, I noticed a cockroach in the bathroom. I went back to the reception and informed the staff. The receptionist responded by assigning me a different room on the tenth floor. I appreciated that she arranged another room quickly, although I am not sure why that room was not offered initially. The second room on the tenth floor was cleaner, particularly the bathroom, and overall it was acceptable. The room itself was quite large and had a small window. However, the lighting was not very strong, so the room can feel a bit dim at night. In my view, the room size is larger than necessary and the space is not used very efficiently. A smaller and more compact layout could potentially make the room more practical and possibly allow the hotel to offer it at a lower price. In terms of amenities, the room included basic toiletries, dental kits, two small bottles of water, two towels, and several hangers. There was also a small table that could be used for working, although it was not particularly comfortable. The bed and pillows were satisfactory, and the pillow was actually quite comfortable. My room on the tenth floor did not have a dedicated cupboard, although the sixth-floor room I initially saw did have one. Overall, the stay was average to slightly above average. The facilities are basic but adequate for a short stay. The staff were not particularly warm or proactive, but they handled requests when asked. Considering the location and metro access, the hotel offers reasonable value, though there is still room for improvement in cleanliness, lighting, and room efficiency.

Service attitude is particularly good

For a pet-friendly hotel, this price point offers decent value. The front desk lady was very friendly and always smiling. However, the facilities are a bit hard to comment on. Especially in the bathroom, the toilet seat fell off when I lifted it, so I had to put it back on 🥲. The shower head looked like it had two parts, a large and a small one. The large one was broken, and water sprayed out from the edge of the shower plate, which was quite startling. The handheld shower head below could only be held, as it would slide down if I tried to attach it. I spent 10 out of 30 minutes of my shower battling with the shower head 🤣, it was ridiculous! Also, there's no full-length mirror or clothes rack, which was quite inconvenient, but at least there's a hairdryer.

This hostel experience far exceeded my expectations. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around, eat, and shop. The rooms are spotless, the bedding is neat, and each bunk has a privacy curtain and charging port. Drawing the curtain creates a personal space with great privacy. The shared bathrooms are cleaned regularly and have no unpleasant odors. The owner and staff are friendly and responsive to any issues. The guests are quiet and friendly, and there's a comfortable common area to relax in. It's excellent value for money and perfect for a transitional stay. Highly recommended, I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Great place! It's about a 5-6 minute drive from the airport, located in an old industrial area. Though it was cheap, the amenities were comparable to a 300 CNY hotel in the city center. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was very warm and attentive. I arrived at midnight and had a 6 AM flight, so I was just looking for a place to catch a few hours of sleep, but this place exceeded my expectations!

I recently stayed at the Hanting Hotel on Chongqing South Road in Qingdao and had a delightful experience as a solo traveler. Choosing a superior queen room, I found it to be both comfortable and well-equipped, offering excellent value for the price. Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth, with the staff being exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even providing helpful tips about local attractions. My room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a cozy queen-size bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The room's amenities, including a flat-screen TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and essential toiletries, made my stay even more convenient and comfortable. One of the highlights of my visit was the breakfast. The spread was impressive, featuring a blend of both Chinese and Western options that catered to various preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of fresh fruits, which were a perfect start to my day. The dining area was clean and welcoming, and the staff were attentive, ensuring that all items were well-stocked and tables cleared promptly. The hotel's location is another asset, as it's conveniently situated near several local attractions and public transport options, making it easy to explore Qingdao. Although the immediate surroundings are bustling, my room was pleasantly quiet, allowing me to relax and recharge after a day of sightseeing. Overall, my stay at the Hanting Hotel was marked by comfort, excellent service, and a delightful breakfast experience. I highly recommend it to other solo travelers seeking a hassle-free and enjoyable stay in Qingdao. I look forward to visiting again on my next trip to the area.
