"The place is clean and near many eateries. There's an eatery that opens till 3am which serves good ramen. The only thing is that there is no lift. So if you are staying on rooms other than the ground floor and travel with heavy luggages, it will be quite a task."

"The hotel's hot spring and shower facilities are excellent, and the other guests are very considerate. However, it's a bit inconvenient that you have to take off your shoes right at the entrance on the first floor, and there were some small prickles on the carpet that bothered my feet. But I respect that this might be a local custom."

"A bit of an older hotel but it was quite charming. My room had lots of sunshine. The floors were quite damaged. The AC worked well. When I arrived, my name was attached to a key with my room number on it, so check it was seamless. They offer free ramen for breakfast and water in the reception area. There is also a place outside where you can sit and eat during your stay. The room was also pretty large for the price. It had a small fridge (though mine wasn’t plugged in) and a table with a chair if you wanted to do some work or eat in your room. The bathroom had toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap."

"I recently stayed 9h Nine Hours in Nagoya and had a pleasant experience overall. One of the biggest advantages of this hostel is its excellent location. It is conveniently located near Nagoya Station, making it easy to travel around the city and to other destinations. There are also plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, which made my stay even more convenient. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The sleeping pods are located on a different floor from the shower area, changing room, and luggage storage. On the positive side, this setup helps keep the sleeping area quiet and comfortable. I was able to rest well every night without being disturbed by noise. However, the separation of the facilities can be a little inconvenient. If you forget something in your luggage or need to grab an item, you have to take the elevator and move between floors. In addition, the shower and grooming area can get quite crowded during peak hours, especially in the early morning and late evening. At those times, you may need to wait for a shower, hair dryer, or space to get ready. Despite these minor inconveniences, I really enjoyed my stay. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, and I would happily stay here again when visiting Nagoya."

"Never disappointed with Japan hostel. Clean, quiet, organised etc. This hostel is very strategic location in Osu (大须) Shotengai Shopping Street and having nearby train station. It is also walking distance to Sakae area. A must visit Osu plus stay for solo Travellers. Afternoon shopping can put groceries at hostel and continue shopping again. The instructions in English is very clear, the bed in room is very clean etc."

"I was relieved with good front desk service. The service for dinner was poka, but I thought I could grind it. There was a word of mouth that there were many dishes for dinner, but there was only one kind of order from this site, but the menu seems to be different from the next seat. It looked blue. w We were all baking fish together in the morning. I went by train and bus, but it is convenient ^ ^ you can go comfortably."

"This hotel is located right in front of Obu Station, about a 15-minute train ride from Nagoya. Even though it was a weekend, it cost under 10,000 yen and included breakfast, making it a great value. Hotels in Nagoya city seem to be quite expensive on weekends lately, but this hotel offers reasonable rates not far from Nagoya. For breakfast, they offer side dishes made by local delis, and, as you'd expect in Aichi Prefecture, they even have kishimen noodles. The fact that this is free is fantastic. Although I didn't go out during my stay, be aware that you need to leave your key at the front desk if you plan to leave the premises. Also, there's only one elevator, so you might have to wait, but the emergency staircase seemed to be open during the morning hours."

"The hotel room is really small for the price you’re paying. Usually, if I pay around $100 per night, I get a much bigger room elsewhere, so just keep that in mind. The room also feels a bit old, and overall it’s just small. The bathroom is small as well, and the hot water doesn’t stay warm for long—it turns cold on its own, which is a bit inconvenient, especially if you’re visiting in winter. That said, the location is great. It’s close to a lot of popular restaurants, including a famous barbecue spot, and there’s a FamilyMart just a two-minute walk away. They also provide umbrellas you can use. Despite the room being smaller and more expensive than what I’d usually pay for this size, I still had a good stay overall—especially since I woke up to snowfall, which was really nice."

I recently stayed 9h Nine Hours in Nagoya and had a pleasant experience overall. One of the biggest advantages of this hostel is its excellent location. It is conveniently located near Nagoya Station, making it easy to travel around the city and to other destinations. There are also plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, which made my stay even more convenient. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The sleeping pods are located on a different floor from the shower area, changing room, and luggage storage. On the positive side, this setup helps keep the sleeping area quiet and comfortable. I was able to rest well every night without being disturbed by noise. However, the separation of the facilities can be a little inconvenient. If you forget something in your luggage or need to grab an item, you have to take the elevator and move between floors. In addition, the shower and grooming area can get quite crowded during peak hours, especially in the early morning and late evening. This hotel is a solid option for travelers looking for a clean, comfortable stay near Nagoya Station at a reasonable price. The room is small but well-equipped with essentials like slippers, pyjamas, a hairdryer, and a water boiler. While bottled water isn’t provided, it’s convenient to purchase from the nearby Seven Eleven or Aeon store. One of the best aspects is the peaceful environment. Unlike some modern hotels with thin walls, this one has good soundproofing, and the sliding door adds extra noise isolation. The air conditioning is individually controlled, making it easy to adjust the temperature precisely. The hotel itself looks quite new and is kept very clean. I had a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and professional, with one gentleman at the front desk standing out for his attentive service and clear explanations of the facilities. Location-wise, it’s about an 8-minute walk from Nagoya Station, though there is no covered walkway. The neighborhood feels safe, and there are plenty of dining options at the station. Some guests mentioned concerns about the curtain, but I found it adequate for blocking sunlight. Would recommend for short stays in Nagoya!

Location: Very convenient, just a 1-minute walk from Meitetsu Higashi Betsuin Station. Including one transfer at Kanayama Station, it's a convenient location with access to Nagoya Station in about 10 minutes. Cleanliness: The entire hotel smelled bad, likely due to renovations. The room was generally clean, but there were brown stains on the pillows. Service: The room hadn't been cleaned by check-out time, so we had to wait about 10 minutes. Facilities: Due to renovations, there were no vending machines, so we had to go to a nearby convenience store to buy groceries.

This hotel is located near the exchange road. There is free parking. There are plenty of parking spaces and there are free breakfast. There are many choices for breakfast. There are also many restaurants next to it. It is a good travel experience.

I initially thought I had booked a regular room, but it turned out to be a dormitory-style capsule instead. If you’re traveling light, this place may suit you, but there isn’t much space to store luggage. There’s no locker or safe provided. The hotel room is really small for the price you’re paying. Usually, if I pay around $100 per night, I get a much bigger room elsewhere, so just keep that in mind. The room also feels a bit old, and overall it’s just small. The bathroom is small as well, and the hot water doesn’t stay warm for long—it turns cold on its own, which is a bit inconvenient, especially if you’re visiting in winter. That said, the location is great. It’s close to a lot of popular restaurants, including a famous barbecue spot, and there’s a FamilyMart just a two-minute walk away. They also provide umbrellas you can use. Despite the room being smaller and more expensive than what I’d usually pay for this size, I still had a good stay overall—especially since I woke up to snowfall, which was really nice.

The hotel rooms are of average size, but the bathrooms aren't spacious; they might be suitable for shorter people. The rooms are not soundproof. I checked in at 6 PM intending to rest, but the hotel seemed to be cleaning or doing something, and the doors were slamming shut very loudly. I would like them to improve the door system. Even my own room, which I tried to close quietly, was noisy. I understand why.

This hotel is located right in front of Obu Station, about a 15-minute train ride from Nagoya. Even though it was a weekend, it cost under 10,000 yen and included breakfast, making it a great value. Hotels in Nagoya city seem to be quite expensive on weekends lately, but this hotel offers reasonable rates not far from Nagoya. For breakfast, they offer side dishes made by local delis, and, as you'd expect in Aichi Prefecture, they even have kishimen noodles. The fact that this is free is fantastic. Although I didn't go out during my stay, be aware that you need to leave your key at the front desk if you plan to leave the premises. Also, there's only one elevator, so you might have to wait, but the emergency staircase seemed to be open during the morning hours.

I stayed here to attend a year-end party and do some end-of-year shopping at a department store. It's conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Matsuzakaya. It's in the downtown area but it was quiet at night. The Meitetsu Kyosho Parking diagonally in front of the hotel is an affiliated parking lot and can be used for 1,300 yen per night. It seems that you can't reserve the parking lot, but it's a multi-story parking lot that can accommodate a large number of cars. After checking in, I did some shopping at Matsuzakaya for about 10,000 yen, and when I showed my parking ticket at the information desk I was given two 30-minute service tickets, so the bill the next day was 1,060 yen.
